Just because I should comment on the song itself (since it's good), here we go: ?:?? I don't know where it happens, since I'm not wearing my headphones now, but at one point, I can make out the first organ chords in "Running from Evil". I know this is a remix of that song, but it barely sounds like it most of the time. I kind of wish there were more points in the song where the song it was referencing was a more obvious, but at the same time, I like how odd but interesting this makes most of the song sound. 10:07 I get a weird feeling when that cool but spooky chord plays as Phina glances over at me. I think she fits the vibe that that chord gives me or something. 19:10 This part makes me feel like it's a very important, sad moment, almost as if the song just told me something and I've realized how awful that it is, and all I can do is stare back with my mouth open, sort of like Phina's expression. I know you randomly included your character here, but I think these visuals make the video better than if it just showed a still image of the house, or gameplay of the mod itself.
Honestly I had like 3 ideas for the visual of the video. 1. Using a still image of the bath house or brutalist structure. 2. A still-camera recording of a night time thunderstorm rolling through a neighborhood that has a power outage blackout. 3. Phina in an OMORI inspired void type location waiting on some kind of company or help to arrive. Well you know what I went with but it's strange to think that this animation could have never been seen. I had a case of "screw it. You only live once" and decided to whip this up. In a weird way I think it fits, and... I get to show off my character to the world. It's kinda nice.
@@SleepySage Though you'd think it would be really out of place and random, the Phina animation strangely works for this song. Did you see my reply in the other thread/comment? I talked about my characters and 3D models.
That's strange... Try changing comment sorting to "newest first" then check that comment's replies. If that doesn't work, click the "edit video" button then check the comments tab there. My comment might be under the "held for review" section, which is automatically deleted after a month.
It's been half a year, but since my...failing mind somehow remembered this song today, I'm listening to it again. It's so...weird but at the same time cool-sounding! With my brain's issues increasing, this feels appropriate, since this song's the Doom version of Everywhere at the End of Time, the album about Dementia. Anyways, I still like your extended video and Phina. Speaking of her, I actually remembered her name when I thought about her earlier. The last time I tried to do that, I couldn't...and that was within probably weeks of last watching this video.
thank you for making a full loop! i was struck with how haunting and beautiful this music was, combined with the otherworldly design of the map. it was a surreal feeling i've never gotten from doom.
I haven’t played the map, but I saw this one English guy’s video on it. I couldn’t watch it all in one go. I had to watch it about 6-7 times before I could finish it all. It made me so uneasy. In a good way tho, like the first time I saw Goya’s Black Paintings.
MyHouse was a trippy but awesome experience and hearing this track when you go to the mirror house, the brutalist maze or the burned house was awesome to listen to, first time hearing it had a creepy vibe on the first half then went for a more sad feeling on the second half.
I've only looked at commentary and speedrun videos of MyHouse, but its music is interesting and strange at the same time... (Description: "Maybe these characters might even interest you.") I actually am curious about your character. Like @void_pepsi6405 said, the visuals do fit the music.
Hey thanks for reaching out. This character (Phina) actually doesn't have much going on in terms of fancy lore or storybuilding but I have been putting more of her and my other designs up on a deviantart account called TiredWiz... if you wanna see more that is.
@@SleepySage I checked out your DeviantArt and whoa, you have a lot of characters! I only have four characters (Mary, Jane, Susan, and Princess Peppermint), but there isn't really much art of any of them online. (Well, Jane and Princess Peppermint aren't even on my DeviantArt, Xanem123.) I've viewed at least several of your pictures, checking out the various characters. I like the variety but I'm also thinking it would be cool if they somehow appeared in something like a game or something. (This seems relevant since this is an extension of a song used in a Doom mod.) I can tell your characters are 3D models, but how did you make them so well? Did you model everything by yourself? I made a character model a couple times, but it's a pain to weight paint their bodies and clothes (which tend to phase through their bodies if they're modelled under them). My DeviantArt doesn't really give a good idea of my best works; If you're interested in that, search for *Xane_MM* on Sketchfab. Also, I wonder what Phina would look like if she smiled.
@@XaneMyers They kinda were gonna be in a game idk i might still but I kinda dont like programming anymore theyre made in heavily modded koikatsu which has a base model in which I can adjust all types of sliders for the desired results and add all kinds of accessories. Phina is very wholesome when she smiles
The backrooms are about as scary as any room when youre alone. Its not the where or when. Its the how long... Will it end... And will the next be any better... Its the simple things out of place. Or in too many places. Perhaps pain is better than regret. Its not as cold. Thanks for reading my cringe. ඞ

Playing this at full blast in my empty house feels oddly comforting. Wait, that door wasn’t there before…
Enter it. No balls

This is one of my new favorite ambient tracks for sure.
When the static clears and gives way to this beautiful harmony... there's nothing else like it.
It always makes me feel like I’m visiting some strange world, like Myst.
I’m reading house of leaves and this is my background music 🍔👍
How appropriate. 😊

i put this on for when i'm showering, but i really appreciate the visuals. you nailed the vibe
Thanks for making this dude. I love this song
this feels like me looking for my friend in an empty office building
I'm so glad someone made a loop
Oh no the character is depressed
