The absolutely magnificent Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque - Muscat - Oman. Shot with DJI Osmo handheld 4k camera and a Phantom 4 drone for the aerial footage. The complete video is shot in 4k UltraHD resolution.
The mosque covers a total area estimated at 20,300 square metres and can accommodate 2,100 serum, with a chapel. For women there is an area of ​​458 square metres and can accommodate 570 serous, and accessory of the Mosque Council area of 198 square metres. There is also a library spread over two floors to accommodate 12,000 volumes, with the possibility of adding of 7,000 more. The mosque was built in beautiful geometric designs.

wow beautiful- did you need permission to use the drone - i wanted to bring mine to oman and apparently its not allowed- any ideas of how i can

Thank you.. unfortuantly bringing in drones to Oman requires permits and its a complicated process to get one! If you have a smaller drone like the DJI Mavic Pro chances of getting it noticed at the airport are slim! Once you get the drone into Oman you will not have issues shooting aerial videos around the country. Alternatively you could find a place that rents one to you but I am not sure if any are available for rent. Hope this helps.. and hope you enjoy your visit to this beautiful country.
