Simmons Quality Home Improvement, Inc. specializes in high quality and comprehensive construction services, including residential remodeling, new home construction, custom kitchens, custom baths, millwork and in-house design services.
All phases of home improvement are undertaken, from design through completion and demonstrate our company’s philosophy of attention to detail.
The majority of our projects are in south-central and shoreline Connecticut although many examples can be found farther afield. In business since 1986, our offices are located in Clinton, Connecticut where the company barn houses, not only, our Simmons-designed and built offices but our millwork shop, the River Mill Company. All cabinetry, trim and distinctive millwork for our projects are manufactured at our shop.

Simmons Quality was the only company . . .
. . .(out of six or seven we contacted) that had a plan for removing and replacing our tired and sagging roof structure (meaning everything from the gutters up). Not only that, they worked within the insurance estimate, showed up on time, called us back when we called them, finished on time, did a quality job and listened to the home owner. What a world! Their imaginative ideas
Our goal was to build a new 1920's beach house which would blend with the surrounding properties. We wanted an open floor plan that would incorporated traditional cabinetry and period details with modern conveniences. Simmons achieved this goal. We are absolutely thrilled with the result
My husband and I have had much of our one hundred+ year old house redone by the Simmons team over a period of five years. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. The workmanship is exquisite. After two hurricanes and a few violent wind storms, there has never been so much as a window rattle or a missing shingle. We are always amazed by the beautiful finish work of the master carpenters Arthur and Herman. There is nothing they cannot do and do to perfection.
