I saw some of this when it first aired, but as I was born after the war 1947 I was working and just starting out with my own family at the time it came out. Now I have the time I have been able to binge watch the whole thing. I must say it has been really great watching it again. All the house sets and the props used brought back so many memories of growing up, back then we spent a lot of time staying at our grandparents, this was a walk in the past that I very much enjoyed. Thank you so much for putting this together. You have made an old man very happy ❤
This wonderful 70’s series is absolutely seared in my young girls memory - watching on a Sunday afternoon with my late parents. It’s been a nostalgic trip down memory lane…I didn’t want it to end! Thank you so very much for the time and effort putting this together for us to watch again, it’s very much appreciated 👏🏻😊
Third time watching this and finally managed to see it all the way through without it being take en doon. Thank you so much for reuploading each time. It's a totally brilliant insight into a lost era, so sorrowful, so moving. I'm sure I'll watch a fourth time soon (buggers willing)
Thank you for uploading this brilliant series, I have just watched the last episode which tied everything up nicely. Particularly Margaret and John who seem to have reached a new understanding. I do feel the earlier episodes up to Jean's death were more powerful than those set after her death, though there were some strong episodes in the final batch. There was hardly a badly-acted scene in the whole series and the location work/war scenes were very well done throughout.
I find the final scene between Margaret and John particularly moving. There is no self-pity in Margaret, she puts on a breezy front and just gets on with life. Here, however, she breaks down and we see beneath the usually hidden protective coating. A wonderful series. ❤
@@vbt1957 That's such a pity. There was some good stuff on here .No offence, but if that's the case I might as well unsubscribe, because I've got the whole series anyway. See you over on Yesterday Once More. 🙏
Just great
Great series!

This has been a moving experience. So much more so than I expected. Good writing, and acting. A true classic series that still holds up today.

A wonderful series. ❤
I get the feeling that David's future will be "Confessions of a Salesman". Poor Sheila.
What are you going to do if this is finished now on here?.
Just leave it as it is, I won't be adding anything else to this channel.
@@vbt1957 That's a shame. I thought focussing on ITV stuff might have worked out for you.
I hope you'll keep Yesterday Once More going at least.
