Just want to say a huge thank you for taking the time to show this process. It’s really useful!
sorry for the late response here Jacqui. I'm so happy you found this useful. Yay!
I love your videos. I just started with a journal, although I already made photo albums and cards. I get a lot of tips and ideas from your videos and you explain everything very good. I just recently discovered your videos, so I have a lot of your older videos to watch.
I am in love with all your journals tFS the way you plan everything before start a journal.
I'm so happy to hear it, Angie. Thank you so much for watching.
Hey Annette....you know, it is remarkable to me how excellent you are at creating the perfect balance on every spread. Thanks to you I've learned how to make my layouts more appealing to the eye, for example, I needed to layer & tuck more as well as to bring a bit of color from one page of a spread to the other. Don't kid yourself, I still have a lot to learn, especially coming from a background of 'clean & simple cards' to vintage-style planners/journals. It's like complete opposites and it really makes one wonder, what changed LOL? I just think I started to get a little bored with my style or perhaps I didn't fully realize what my style was....who knows, all I know is I'm having a blast. Thanks again, Annette, for the inspiration & education...until next time....gentle hugs from Canada
Nancy, first of all, thank you very much. I'm happy to know you are enjoying my process and--most of all--learning new ideas. It's true, our styles evolve over time, and for me it IS sometimes out of boredom. Trying new things keeps it interesting, educates us, and gives us the confidence to continue exploring new ideas. I am forever trying new things because I'm curious! And it's fun! I'm delighted you are putting my suggestions to use and find them working well for you. This is always my precise goal as a creator here on UA-cam, so you've given me the best feedback I can ask for. Thank you again for your kind words. Hugs right back at ya!
I love your journal. I definitely want to get back into journaling/scrapbooking
Thanks Louisa. This small size really makes it less daunting to scrapbook. I hope you DO get back to it. Enjoy!
Thank you for showing how you do all your photo work. And love the layouts you did. Like that you show the proces and your ideas😁
Awesome Sophia, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hi Janet! Thanks.
Amazing pages!!!
Thanks, sis! Glad you like em!!
Nice!
Thanks!
Thanks.
I absolutely love your layouts. Thanks for the inspiration 😁
Thank you Donna! I appreciate that so much. Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for sharing this video!!! :) Maybe I missed it? What photo paper do you use? Can you please add it to your links in the description? Thanks so much!
Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I use HP photo paper, usually the Advanced Inkjet Photo Paper, Glossy. I will add it in the description. Thanks for asking and for watching!
Thank you so much! I have been trying for the longest time to figure out how to do this in Photoshop Elements. ❤️
I'm so glad you found it helpful, Gerrie. Let me know if you have any questions or problems. Thanks for watching.
Hi Annette! I find your videos so helpful. Could you provide me with some details about the photo organizing software you use on the Mac?
Hi Laura, I'm so glad to hear that. So on a Mac computer, all Macs, we have a Photos program. That's where I upload to and sort and organize. Then I pull them into PhotoShop Elements to do any editing, sizing, retouching, etc. I hope that helps clarify things. If not, let me know. Thanks for watching!
@@AnnetteGreen thank you! I have recently switched from a PC to Mac and I’m used to having photos in the JPEG format. Is there an easy way to create JPEG’s in that photos software? It might be right there but I haven’t found it yet!
@@laurarussell2942 In PhotoShop Elements? If so, you just save it and when naming it be sure to go down to the drop-down menu at the bottom of the “save” window and pull down JPG for the format. Let me know if that’s what you’re asking.
How do you get your photos to be a perfect square without them distorting? Thanks loved the video
Thank you, and very good question. I work in Photoshop Elements. I open my photo, select the crop tool, set the parameters in the dialog box, then click! I have a new video coming out which shows me finishing up my December Day by Day planner and doing this very thing with my photos. Watch for that in the next few days.
@@AnnetteGreen Thanks. I work in Photoshop Elements as well but could never get a square crop. I look forward to seeing how you do this. Happy New Year.
Thanks for the photo tips Annette. Just recently discovered your videos & Elizabeth Craft Designs. While you did no on-camera gluing in this video, in previous ones, you use a liquid glue. Can you share what brand it is. I'm using a much thicker white craft glue that is reliable, but yours looks like it goes on easier. Love your work & am looking forward to more videos.
Hi Connie, sorry for such a late response here. I use clear-drying Art Glitter Glue. You can find it online and at major scrapbook stores. I don't believe regular craft stores carry it. Here's a link in Amazon: amzn.to/3qVT4WE Thanks for watching!
@@AnnetteGreen Thx for the info Annette. (Jeff Bezos thanks you too. LOL!)
I can see why G45 use that bright colors on the paper design, on soft or pastel color the photos have colors that sometimes don't blend to well... Like it kills the colors of the papers... I'm i right???
I'm pretty new on this wonderful world of scrapbooking and paper is something that I am hesitant on choice the right paper color/design for that reason.
It all depends on your photos, I believe. Even soft pastels can work if your photos call for that. This paper I show in this video is from Elizabeth Craft Designs, not Graphic 45, although I do love and use Graphic 45 very often. Thanks for watching. Don't stress over the paper choice too much, and have fun with yours!
@@AnnetteGreen i will!!
Hi, good day to you.
Thank you for showing how you do your photos.
Question... Do you use your regular printer or a specific photo printer?
And the paper it most be for photos?
Hi Mackayla, thanks for watching. I have a Canon Pixma MG printer and use Canon photo paper or sometimes HP photo paper if Canon isn’t available.
@@AnnetteGreen Oh OK, I'll take a look.
Thank you!!
What printer do you use? The quality looks nice. Again you do beautiful work💕
thanks Debra. I have a Canon Pixma series M printer. It's a little old now, but still works great. I have always had Canon printers and have been very pleased.
@@AnnetteGreen is it laser or inkjet?
@@debraprins1437 Sorry, it’s an inkjet printer.
@@AnnetteGreen oh that’s good. Mine is an inkjet as well😊
Annette how do you store all your Elizabeth Craft Planner dies?
I've mentioned this is several other videos, but most recently showed this is my Downsizing Part 2 video which you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/kHPQrrNcc68/v-deo.html If you don't want to watch the whole thing, scrub forward to 20 minutes in. Thanks for watching.
