You can see how almost flustered he is during the intro segment. That adrenaline rushing, and almost seems like he's about to tear up from excitement. I know that feeling when talking about something so personal and impactful to someone who is the source of the impact. This one really meant a lot to him and you can tell. Amazing job as always Ola.

I had no one in my life who loved Metal except a guitar teacher who was still showing me bands (he taught my Walk!), and I was playing Gears of War with my buddy. We were fucking around and wanted to listen to some music to go with the game, so I went to UA-cam and typed in "Locust Song" because the enemies in Gears are called Locusts. Sure enough, the title single from that album popped up, I put it on as a joke because of the game, but I had to pause the game to listen to it. I was BLOWN AWAY. Next day I got on my bike, rode into the downtown of the town I lived in, went to the local record store and bought the deluxe edition of the album, and I've been hooked ever since. I listened to what my friends listened to until an older friend made me a mix cassette of metal. First track - Davidian!! After hearing that I knew this is the music my brain had been needing all my years! Second track, pantera! Hooked! Thank you Rob. And Ola, you’ve steered me with tone during my mid-life crisis of deciding to learn guitar! Two legends, one interview for me!

Thank you for this! Great interview and Robb is an excellent story teller! I have watched soo many many Happy hours live on friday nights for the past 2 years and it did get me through this fucking pandemic! The new album is amazing. Love Machine Head! It was awesome to see you on stage playing Davidian in Stockholm with MH. I was in the front the whole show with my buddy. I still got bruises on my ribs from the fence! 😁🤘
