- In this video I will show you a possible solution, how to install a cruise control into an Audi A4 B5 Facelift 1.9 TDI AFN!
Ebben a videóban egy lehetséges módját mutatom be, hogyan lehet utólag bekötni tempomatot egy Audi A4 B5 Facelift 1.9 TDI-be!
Nice video! Good pictures. Today we made a video, too for the B5 facelift. Maybe have a look 👍🏼
I have installed the cruise control without pre-installation connector maybe someone would be interested to take a look, nice video
Bonjour, très bon tutoriel
Auriez-vous un lien pour le kit régulateur commodo plus faisceau
Merci
Hello, where did you buy ur switch or where can I buy it. Also do I need to buy the wire on the minute 1:43 ? Best Regards.
I bought it from a used car (OEM part), but maybe it is available from car part shops, or used in ebay... If you buy the cable it will be easier to install everything, without this cable you have to assemble the cables and connecting it into the connectors...
@@kpmechs I'm searching for the part but I'm not sure about the reference of the part. Do you know it?
Hello i I am wondering how you push the white conector inside?
you need to release(push) the fixing hooks on the black housing on both side of the white connector, during this time you pushing the white connector in....
Hello, do you still know cruse control switch part number? there are a bunch of different ones and they all look identical from pictures, so I would like to know the exact part number.
Hello,
i am in the process of installing it by myself. Your video is by far the best from all for this installation. Thanks!
But i have a question: You have to push the white connector from the ecu inside the car to the legroom, which i did, but there is not much space there to work and the wire itself is very short (10cm) How do you pin the new wires in? I mean, i can not get in there with two fingers. Is there a way to get the white connector more into the legroom? This part is missing in your video.
Hello, sorry bit it was a lot of years ago, so I do not remember for this....
@@kpmechs Hi, thanks for your reply, but i understand :)
for anyone wondering: You have to unwrap the black tape from the big wiring harness the white connector is going to. This takes a few minutes and is pure pain. Then you can bend the cable with the white connector into the legroom to work on it. Also, the holder for the relais on the firewall is bolted and one screw, which is hard to find and see, can be unbolted with a long extension and then there is more room to work :)
Hello, what engine do you have ? I have an AFN prefacelift 1.9, I have the switch, wich seems to be original and all, since it writes in german on it, but it doesen't work. I haven't really got a chance to look deep into it
Edit: I just read the description, we have the same engine, just different years
It is a facelift, I dont know what is the different between facelift CC and preface CC....
@@kpmechs thank you anyway
Hi.
you remember the pin numbers that you put in the plug at the ECU?
1:26 please check, ECU is ready for the CC till the white connector. Please check 5:12 as well for the pins.
Szia
Nincs véletlenül ez leírva neked valahol magyarul is?
Sajnos a lábkiosztásos részt nem nagyon értem.
Üdv Peti
Hello, szerintem nincs. Melyik rész a kérdéses? (Hányadik perc, másodpercnél?)
hello your video is awesome, but i have a question where i connect the + 12V wire?
thank you
Looking for place at the Fuse board on the left from the steeringwheel...
Hello, you need a + after contact or a permanent +
@@kpmechs is +12 after contact or permanent?
@@eduardomunozjimenez9426 +12V is from fusebox.
Hello do you know where i can see if the coding has worked?
Hello, test the car on the Road, but I think maybe you can test the buttons in VCDS as well.
looking to this on A6 1.8t,and A8(if i can get it to start!!,just at 5.13 min,you have wires going from cc far left to white connector , you have numbered 1/6, then on middle/and right, you 4/6(black and white in pin 10, do wire 4 and 6 join together??,
Great vid, tks
Rob

@@xbunea ...I never did,I have D2 also, which does not have cc..if you actually do this ad on would be interested in how it goes for you
