    I was lead to your channel by a google algorithm. I’ve followed your work for probably about 2 years and when you concluded, a few weeks ago, that you were getting nowhere I thought you were very brave but absolutely correct. This video brings me full circle because I came to you from Michael Broderick who has been palm up toe up for at least 10 years. When I first saw this video I was going to suggest you visit Michael broderick’s channel but having just seen your latest offering about the last piece of the jigsaw I think you might have already done that. Keep your stuff coming please.

      I’ve known MB for 13 years now stable. He and I came together about the same time as we both discovered Lee Comeaux. Many of my vids are only suggestions to help those who may not have heard of the subject of the vids I produce. Golf will never be mastered because there are too many variables to manage and we as humans can’t even come
      Close to doing so. But with that said we can become consistent at what we think we must do to hit consistent shots. The variables will also influence our consistent intentions either for the good or bad. Let’s hope we can have the good intentions more the the bad, that’s what keeps us coming back for more. Thanks and I will, in the middle of moving these days but plan to continue my journey and share with others. Have a great week!!

    Very well said, Bill. I stumbled onto this a few weeks ago after rewatching all of Lee’s videos and many of yours and have been playing some of the best golf I’ve played in quite some time. I’m really concentrating on the grip as you described, hands in front of zipper as Lee described, and swinging my arms aggressively while controlling body turn. Good stuff.

      It is as he said and as many of us experienced by accident a few times , effortless. The less we engage our muscles , tendons, and joints to move the arms and club the more effortlessly the motion becomes. The lower body as you have found out, has one job which is to support the directional momentum of the arms and shoulder girdle. The direction and the momentum at which they move is determined by the grip on the tool and the way we fold and unfold our glints to make the effortless motion. Now we know.
      Thanks bkelso!!!

      Wouldn’t suggest it with the putter . Couldn’t help myself Rick please forgive. Yes sir every club full shot or not. I would suggest chip shots and pitches while learning to trust what your doing then stream h it out to 1/2 to 3/4. Develop the trust first then the skill will happen.

      @@Wooduck Thanks Bill for the feedback, The swing just feels so natural to me will work on short irons first until I get the hang of it besides the putter lol should have been more clear. It’s all good 👍 that’s what makes this game of golf so much fun is different and better ways to play this game thanks again Bill for your feedback and good luck on your new place.

      @@rickmcelroy5851 thanks Rick moving at my age can become stressful but everyone is doing their best to help this ole fart relax and enjoy the trip. Stay safe and if I can help with your new found method let me know. This is the way Lee Comeaux, and Mike Austin did it in his day. The release at the ball is a palm up knuckles at target and ulnar deviation of the trail wrist. Once you trust it and you do it without thinking then you can say and feel the effort to hit a golf ball is truly effortless.

    my bad lead hand out of the equation. Thanks Bill. You will win the Tournament next year

      Hope I’m still as active as I am right now Ray. Won my share but it’s more about being around some friends you don’t get to see often. Going back to where I was raised reminds me of where I came from and has a humbling effect as well.

    Would it be possible for you to post a video of you actually hitting a ball. Tried this swing or what I think was the swing and did pretty well. Do you have an instructional video I can buy? Need to know the right setup and ball position. Cheers.

      To me Walter, this is all one really needs to get down to play the best their bodies will let them play. I did this all day Saturday missed 3 shots because of the shoulders and lower body going first. All other shots especially driver were all right to left ball spins which found the middle of my target. Effort to hit these shots was a Lee advocates, 20% effort. Good luck and get this down and you can stop watching golf vids and spend more time perfecting your Chef skills, or is it Chief?

    Comeaux must have been a great baseball or softball player in his time. His swing always resembled a baseball motion. But hitting a golf ball. Which I always thought was cool
    And I think he said to try and hit the ball hosel first. Which is what you demonstrated

    I like the idea. But doesn't that create a cupping of the left wrist at impact?

    • @Wooduck
      @Wooduck  11 місяців тому +1

      Watch the vid after this one windell, impossible to cup the lead wrist when the wrist work the way I demonstrated in my last vid. Before I discover this my lead wrist would alway cup at impact causing pulls and pull hooks. This way eliminates all that you asked and then some. Just get into the habit of placing the trail hand on the club by coming under the shaft not beside the shaft. The knuckles on the trail hand I show everyone should point at the target at set up. Coming back to the ball keep the trail hand palm up which keeps the knuckles pointed at the target, then move the wrist as I showed in my last vid which is a palm up, uncocking motion of the trail hand. In reality it ulnar deviates which is the release at the ball. Much speed is produced when done correctly and the face squares up effortlessly. Hope that helped.
