@@PeterCombs oh man....thank you for responding to my comment. Im sure this will sound really corny...but...you guys who have UA-cam channel are alot like " famous or widely known ' individuals and so I just think its so cool to get a direct reply. 14:00 封神榜 大战泗水关 This scene depicts "the battle at the Sishui Pass," an episode from the epic novel Investiture of the Gods. The story of this novel is based on events that occurred in China as the Shang dynasty (c. 1600-c. 1100 B.C.) ended and the Zhou dynasty (c. 1100-256 B.C.) began. The diagonal composition, with warriors chasing one another, results in an image filled with dynamic movement.
Hi Peter, thanks so much for this extra treat! Your videos are so informative and fascinating at the same time, which is not always an easy balance to achieve, but you succeed!
Ok i just watched this for the 3rd time!! Love it! I REALLY hope you, Peter and your staff will continue this at least up to when we all get our " normal " back. We all maybe able to visit these places in the future but we won't have you as our guide like we do this way. Thx again Peter. More more more, please. Take care

Hi Peter, You Rock. I have learned so much. Thank you. You have in a short time impacted my life and sharpened my eyes so much. I found a white porcelain butterfly design lamp that I would has passed right by otherwise. Thanks! Thanks to your tutorials. Cent' Anni!
The Philadelphia Museum of Art was closed (for renovation I think) when I was there in July 2005 so thanks for this Peter - a fascinating watch for all of us stuck at home. If you are considering doing any more I would like to nominate the Percival David collection here in London. I work nearby so am able to visit often, but it is a breathtaking collection of Imperial Chinese pieces.
Absolutely...! It is on the list, the issue currently is their site and images are not available. When they fix it and we can again access images, we'll be doing one. Best Peter
i knew ann d'Harnoncourt who was the director for many years of the philadelphia mus of art. I met with both her and pontus hulton about a Marcel Duchamp sculpture i found when i was 19.
