My two cents. Two year player. Get the rares out of the primal shards. Last four levels of mino. Either double the amount of scrolls given.or keep the amount the same, but award two champs scroll each run. Allow players to move a blocking progression quest to the end of the line, once a month. To help get resources that help upgrade our champs. Plus it would put , hey I'm making progress. Instead of blah, forget it , can't clear this one , so not going to worry about the arbiter quest. Increase the energy level. Clans with less then ten members get to complete more clan quests then 3 , every 6 days. Again would help alot with progression. Sure there's more , but just off the top of my head.
I think they put rares in primal shards to charge them at $5 a pop. Otherwise, they’d be a sacred shard with a chance for mythicals. They likely would charge exorbitant prices if that were the case like they do with sacred shards.
2019 og here,Make gear removal free. We already spend enough upgrading the sh1t. Make mastery scrolls usable by any champion, not just champions taking part in the minotaur fight, that way you can stockpile mastery scrolls for new champions you might acquire, and add a super raids option to minotaur as well. Lastly, make a skill tome and a chicken farming dungeon.(higher dungeon difficulty rewards higher star chickens with last level, having a chance to drop a six star golden chicken that instantly brings your champion to 6 stars)

Their irrational excuse why they can't raise the energy cap after 5+ years? The lie about more frequent champ rebalancing? A horribly untouched market & token trader shop? The most annoying pop-up monetization ad system of any game? Or the blatant disregard of any semblance of transparency?
@bagpusscat7839 it's true, ASH is a CC of the players for the players. I would like to be hopeful, but I see Plarium just like Boeing. Even with fines tires still fall off planes and door plugs blow out mid flight. Even their own employees won't fly on the planes
The QoL improvement that I want that I've not heard anybody talk about is a 'Select All' tick box next to each artefact set with the ability to then upgrade all artefact(s) from any selected set to level 4, 8, 12 & 16. This would be an amazing time saver for the arduous artefact enhancement events. Equally, it would be nice to select multiple individual artefacts and be able to do the same upgrading to level 4, 8, 12 & 16. Another QoL improvement that I'd love is a sell button in the screen where you currently upgrade artefacts. As it stands you have to click upgrade and then if it's trash, you have to click out of the screen, click the sell button, re-select the artefact and finally sell it. It's unnecessarily long-winded. It makes far more sense to upgrade the artefact, see that it's trash, and sell it there and then.
Some notes for silver management: -use all your free keys for gear acquisition even if you don’t need the sets. Like faction wars, doom tower, and cursed city. The forge is the true silver mine, not spider. -save every gear piece you farm, even the shields from 12-3 brutal. Level everything to +4 during artifact enhancement events and sell them. Think of the useless gear pieces for artifact enhancement like you do mystery shards during summon rush and champ chase. Every little bit will help you in the long term. -be brutal during gear cleanses and don’t gamble on gear upgrading. Only upgrade the pieces you think you will need. Every account is different, so there is never a magical rule of thumb. -only farm stage 20 for dungeon diver events. You get more silver per energy pot than any other stage (you could farm stage 16 if you are very desperate, but the higher chance for 6* is too good to pass up in stage 20). -look at all the events/tourneys for the early silver rewards. They are usually very easy to get and add up over time.
They should just give a feast with first 7 day login. Why make that first 60 such a grind and lose players so early. Let the rest be the grind but at least you have a farmer.

Definitely. Once I had a 60 back in 2019 (I think), the game started to flow. That's back when I remember a mino event/tournament. I might be remembering that wrong..
That's a great idea. But CB is another huge gate. They need sonething to help newer players get to a point where they're keying nm and unm clanboss. That's your steady stream of books and shards. Once you have that, it starts opening up other areas of the game...
Upgrade the market as your account upgrades, like they unlock other areas of the game as you level up. That way you can add more expensive items to the market that actually are worthwhile buying for a new player
I heavily agree with everything you said! We say it a lot but more artifact storage would also help improve the community's mood. I don't know what it's like to make and maintain a game like this but small acts of goodwill can't be THAT hard/gamebreaking, right? They REALLY need more quality of life. The point of a game is to have fun but it feels like a full time job just to get a few shiny trinkets on a screen. I like the grind but it's so time consuming and constant FOMO feels more punishing than rewarding.
I have said that about the sliver three years ago! It should not cost 2 million to take off your breastplate give me a break! FREE GEAR REMOVAL PERIOD! Just do this! If your not going to improve our silver take just let us take our gear off for free charging a fortune to take off my boots is stupid! Their rewards across the board are lame they can increase silver rewards tomes and gear removal in these rewards! silver rewards should be minimal 1 million considering what they charge to upgrade and take off gear! I have also complained the rewards are crap! Doom tower needs better rewards they are lame! sign in rewards are so lame really when the last time they did anything there! Plaruim is cheap and the amount of money they make it will not kill them to increase these two values I totally agree!
Books and storage for champions/gear is a massive problem. I have no problem with everything else taking forever because I’m going to be playing for a long time I hope anyways, but when you have nowhere to keep good rares because you’re trying to keep good epics, and on top of that they’re adding new legendary you want, plus you can’t even keep all the gear you need for everybody moving around without sacrificing stuff you need, it gets ridiculous.
Hey Merry Christmas to you and your family Ash! With that said I agree with the points of your video, I know you could not add this as to keep your video short. But I really wish they would adjust the Primal shard rate. There are people that get mad they are called "red ancients", yet the difference between them is only a 9% less chance to pull a rare than ancient shards. At least bump the mythical from 0.5% to a full 1%, and if they are not going to remove rares from primals, adjust them to like 70% and balance the percent among the legendary and epics. 0:040:040:04
I remember when someone brought up pages to farm for books, not a bad idea. Still a grind to buy energy, but you can focus on booking your your champs that you own. I have a backlog of countless epics (alot I don't want to book anyway) and a dozen legos or so. Booked champs make a big difference. Especially reduced cooldowns
Silver has become a massive problem now with chimera. You need 9 piece protection for supports, these supports are often your best champions so you need to shift gear around. You have hydra, chimera, dungeons and arena. Massive number of presets for gear on champions to remember where each champ's piece was. This last chimera I was lucky there was a free regear but 1hr is not enough. It takes a long time to run chimera so I need a few 1 hr regears to prepare my champs for chimera, then to regear for hydra and then whatever their previous roles were (arena/dungeons etc.). The free regears should be changed to something longer from 1 hour to 6 hours or a whole day. Making them more available would help too but 1hr regear is too short to be useful
I gave them a suggestion on their discord about a system that another game has already implemented succesfully to address the problem of making 6stars and the silver scarce. They just need to implement the stigma system that epic 7 has right now. It is a currency that is tied to stamina/energy. 1 energy spent = 1 stigma. Then u can use that currency to buy chickens to rank up to 6star. That same stigma could be used to purchase brews that you could eventually sell if u decided to do so in exchange of silver. Then they could implement the overflow xp system that e7 has in which they gave you stigma based on the amount of xp gained when your champs are at max level.
doesnt E7 have the same balance issue with champs and Silver cost when dealing with artifacts and gear. dont get me started on their "stat" rerolls on gears, god thats a nightmare. should be copying summoners wars reprisal stones for those with potentially good gear.

Dude I'm saying make a system where we can upgrade books and shards. Similar to how we can mix the ascension potions to create higher tier potions..we should be able to combine rare books for epic and epic for legendary, etc. Also same with shards: combine 100 mystery shards for 1 ancient and 50 ancients for one legendary, etc.
Also, I hate when you go to swap gear and the game automatically pops up the notification to use a Free Gear Removal, then you click No and it uses it anyways. I've lost 2 gear removals because of that. I know it's on me for clicking it wrong but still annoying to have that popup
Main things for me (almost 6 year player) : Time in game. They've been saying for ages they are aware and whilst they have implemented some changes it's glacially slowly. The market. Have it upgrade as I complete content. If I unlock and complete hard dungeons, have it offer mythical gear for that dungeon. Energy cap. With super raids I can do 3 x hard dungeons. That seems rather low... Pvp currencies for area/affinity bonuses. Just have regular, 3v3 and live all reward the same currency but at different rates. Gear. There are too many sets, look to streamline and maybe put some of the newer sets in dungeons to make them more enticing to farm. Give us back our monthly chicken and sacred. 12 sacreds a year isn't even a guarantee of a legendary so what harm did it do? Also, ditch the waves on bosses. Cursed city bosses are great with no waves and it'd help speed things up.
Yes, gear sets!! Farming one of the dungeons, looking for pieces TO THE ONLY SETS EVERYONE USES and getting a ton of pieces THAT NO ONE USES is total bs!! It's a waste of time, energy, everything!
8:10 as and end game player epic and rare tomes are purely for cvc/training tournament points They already have a mixer concept for potions, just apply it to tomes: 10 rare because 1 epic, 7/8 epic become a legendary, 5 legendary become a Mythical tome
Could not agree more. I already commented on another creator's channel about it, but for the longevity of the game I do believe they need to make some changes as the game has evolved since it first began. One thing I loved right away about King Arthur was that there was a Dungeon for obtaining EXP potions and Enhancement pieces. Leveling up champs/hero characters should not be hard. It's okay if it takes some time/grind, but it needs to be more accessible than waiting on RNG and winning awards or spending money. Spending money should always be about doing it quicker. Same goes with those books as you mentioned. And honestly, the game would be much better for all if you could farm that stuff for leveling your characters instead of feeding champs for other champs. I also commented this on another channel but will put it here too. In my opinion I am looking more forward to making it to Gold Live Arena than where I am at now (currently Silver III). This is because Tiers below Gold are all just players using the same champs over and over, it's more so about who has better blessings and gear, you don't stand a chance if you're lower in those, that makes it boring and undesirable as a game mode. However, in Gold since there are unique champs as you draft you can add actual strategy to it, and I wish it started like that from Bronze. Then they add another rule at Silver Tier, something like only one attacker may be selected or something like that. And then when you reach Gold they increase the rules again, and something like players are unable to draft a reviver (all forms of reviving to include passives). I think making players strategize more during the draft would make it more fun, but that is me. I would also just completely remove Tag Team arena honestly because I can't think of a single person that enjoys the game mode, and there's just no point to it. And even further, I wish it was only Live Arena and Siege as the main PVP modes and that Live Arena was open all day.
Almost every aspect of the game is included occasionally in Events and Tournaments. I would like to see them include Potion Keeps and Minotaurs Labyrinth also.
Definitely agree with the level 60 thing. Like you've said before, most people are casuals that play this game and don't chase Platinum. Some just want to have fun using champions they think look cool out of the 1k+ champions they have. It feels like we are forced to level a very particular champion up to 60 that is great at wave clearing to level up our food. Then we need to be able to get that time down as fast as we can since the game is so time consuming as is. The fact that it takes time to build up a team and start clearing Doom Tower or Hydra or whatever is ok. I feel like there is way too much time when starting out setting up our account to be able to do basic things however that we don't really get to actually play the game for quite awhile
My ideas!!! 1. Live market, you can trade anything at a cost i.e 1000 gems to enter into live market once a week. You can' trade 5 legendary books for maybe a dupe legend someon else has. 2. Forbidden library where you can farm all books on certain days of the week. You earn pages to craft into books. example 100 pages = the corresponding book. 3.make a "casino" where you can spin for shards, champs of all varieties, books for a price. 3x max a week with the first being on the house since PLARIIUM HAS AND INSANE AMOUNT OF CHAMPIONS.. You pay 5$ per spin after the free one to see if you can get some insane loot or trash. Keep it interesting while not dipping huge sums of money!.
Happy Holidays Ash. I agree with what you are saying, well maybe not the 1st one since i am not a new player anymore. One thing I don't really hear mentioned much that frustrates me is the lack of ways to farm crit rate and crit damage glyphs. It is weird that there is a way to get all glyhps for the other stats, but not those 2. That i have to cross my fingers and hope that i can roll a 3 or 4 on the substat.
Been watching daily for 3ish years and something about you these few past month man, you’ve just been so authentic and just you. Rage or not. Just think you’re being unapologetically you and I’m glad. You’re like me and over think a lot, glad I’m seeing you let go and be you. Inspiring for sure. Just my perspective as a fan and a friend.

I think I liked the game best during the early grind (although I had NO idea you needed to get to lvl 60 as quickly as possible) A few more tomes would be nice - but I really like the hard choices that have to be made. I rather like that champs 'own' specific artifacts - but they should be able to have multiple dedicated sets without having to spend. My biggest gripe is the level of complexity of the gear overall. Both the number of sets out there, and the annoyance of each piece being really individual. I don't see them changing any of that, but it's what is driving me out of the game after 3+ years. A game simply should not require that you use external applications to manage your account. Another personal gripe is the stupid tag team mission, when they keep the limit of players at a level from (at least) when I started playing, while the user base has grown. I'm of the opinion that I either have to get that Ramantu goal now, or the window will just keep moving further away - and if I don't make it pretty soon (with the further power creep from relics now), I think I'm out.
i got arbiter today and thought the same when i saw that they have tag team arena for the next champ pvp as 'progression' mission is so stupid. Normal arena for arbiter works only because there is no limit and enough people have a 1 hero deff to get to gold even as a newbe (been there since week 3) and even live arena would work since you dont loose points/get more then you loose until gold i guess but tagteam? with the limited slots? thats jsut ridiculouse. ill give them a "improvement" ticket once i get to that mission and do the same as i did last time: playing the game as far as i enjoy and then quite once i did all i could and to be honest the prices are 10 times more then i would be willing to pay for any game so i stay free-to-play with out a question - 50/70 bucks for he-man? i rather get a second eldenring copy for that much money
i think another option for improving the silver issues (alongside what you suggest, because regearing will still be required for changing sets for some bosses etc) is just remove 5* gear from the highest levels of content so it is easier to farm upgrades once you have put the effort in to perfect your teams etc.
3:50 the champion leveling system in WoR is incredible. I have enough food champs and the chicken equivalent things right now to MAX out over 60 champions any time I want. Its so easy.

My first 6 star was Knecht, I was so excited to use him as a maxed out champion. It was gruesome to go from a 1 star to a 6 star. Then once I got a full team I was even more excited. I relate with grinding less for your first 6 stars.

Adding another comment to go along with my other one because I’ve thought of something else. - This could just be me, but I look at PVP as more the penultimate level of any progression. That said, my thoughts are that it might be cool to have an entire separate portion of the game that Clans can opt into with the Clash concept. Something where a clan goes, “Hey everyone, we are crushing this game mode, or these game modes, you want to go test ourselves against other clans?” And those clans can then decide to do so. However, all the game modes should be more focused on helping with account progression first and foremost, so I think unless the clan has opted into the clash mode it’s just normal PVE the clan can tackle to progress everyone’s accounts. And the current clash rewards should be obtainable by every player as their clan masters the mode. And then when you opt into the clash mode there are even greater rewards above and beyond the current clash rewards that you have to opt into clash to get. Those are just my thoughts, and maybe so agree and some disagree, but thought I would share.
If Plarium wanted to fix the game in addition to what ash mentioned, to me, as a returning newish player: 1. Dungeon energy costs should be halved, or energy cap should be increased. 2. Doom tower should be free to complete and not cost keys 3. Hydra + Chimera clash rewards should give stuff to everyone who finished first, second, third instead of locking it behind a damage threshold that is not possible for lower power level clans. There is literally no reason to do hydra if you cannot even hit 35M damage. 4. Make packs worth the money and stop with making us bring up a raid cost calculator to figure out if we are being scammed or not. 5. Popups limited to once a day or setting to turn it off. Red dot in shop button to notify that a new pack is available. 6. Let us see what character souls are for in the soul collection tab. 7. Cursed city should be unlocked at 45, not 52 8. They need to give out 1 ancient shard a day in the shop (replacing the one a week) 9. Stop locking fusions behind tournaments. There is no way for a new f2p player from ever finishing these events without spending money.
think they should add a new dungeon boss from the dwaven faction. Alberich. (in german mythos was a dwaven hero who guarded Nibelungs treasure and has the strength of 12 men) could make it so its just him similar to spider but he has 12 lives and for each one you defeat you have a chance of different skill points. each death he get slightly stronger say like 2% atk, def, spd, similar to the primal fragments where u need 100 for a primal shard. each life has a chance of rare, epic, legendary and mythical skill points. once you have 100 of any you can get a skill orb which works like the skill tomes for that level. could be say since he has 12 lives in one run you could get 6 rare 4 epic 1 legendary, 1 mythical. but next could be 2 rare 2 epic 3 legendary 5 mythical. higher chance of rare then epic etc. give him 10 stages similar to hard mode have 5 keys daily so people cannot speed blitz it similar to iron twins. give people a chance at least.
Definitely also like the idea of letting people trade a rare for even one token and maybe like five tokens for an Epic. It would still take a long time, but something people could do, and eventually add some value to the token trader thing.
Minotaur update I want: Have a stage 25. Make completing stage 25 with a champ with no scrolls get instant all basic scrolls in a single run. Maybe advanced scrolls can be completed for a champ with just 2-3 runs. Advanced, maybe 10 runs. I rather this than rework Minotaur to drop something else and have scrolls a chance to drop from other content. Maybe after normal stage 25 minotaur is added, a hard mode can be added with not guaranteed book drops, but at least some chance of books to drop. Sure, maybe not include mythical books in this, but do something to help the legendary book issue. Personally, I feel like I'm able to get mythical books easier than I can get legendary books, but I only have 1 mythical champ that is already booked. Sitting on 30-ish mythical books now, but only 5 legendary books. At each CvC, I would love to be able to fully book 1 legendary champ. Silver farming sucks. Most of all with spider being the go-to place to do so, but then I feel like I'm wasting energy. Every accessory I get from there, I sell. Sure, I might be mid/end game, so this isn't the case for everyone, but once the 9-piece sets became a thing, I see zero reason to hold onto basic accessories. They should balance all of the dungeons gear and accessories to be valued closer to being the same when sold. So say I use 10k energy on a dungeon, such as FK, if I spend 10k energy on spider, I think selling all drops from each should come out to be roughly the same. Of course this will vary on RNG on the loot quality, but I hope I made my point clear. Something I want: Rework the inbox. Better filters. Let me sell gear/accessories from it after seeing the stats on them, right from the inbox. If my champ list is full, but I have space in either vault, let me send overflow champs from the inbox to either vault. I don't think the inbox has had any changes to it since I began Raid years ago.

What I want more for being a new player(27days active).. is a TM radar somewhere on the screen(doesn't have to big, maybe underneath your Champ team). So that you plan on how/calculate when to use abilities if you know you will go first if Everyone has 100TM. Instead of Squinting or grabbing your micro ruler to measure to see who is going first
Merry Christmas Ash. My biggest problem is 3x3 arena. They need to change the flat number of people per level to a Percentage. In March it will be 3 years I've been trying to get into Silver 4 and right now I can't even hold silver 2.
Great ideas. What if there was a market or a way for players to trade or sell things to each other? Maybe even give or trade champions? Or like you said better things in the market? shards, tomes, energy, gems a way to turn silver into anything in the game.
I think that is one of my biggest beefs with this game. Is having to pay to take gear off of a person that already has gear they own the gear. Why should they pay to take the gear off? We pay to level it we paid to earn the gear and now we have to pay to take the gear off doesn’t make sense. I could understand back when the game first came out when that was the only real currency they had was silver now there’s so much other stuff in the game and so many gear sets and so much content you have to switch gear your best gear to champions to defeat that good content I don’t do the cursed city because I have to mule gear around and I don’t have enough silver to do that and do fusions. And I’m with you on the skill tones because I have a crap ton of legendary champions that I would love to use, but I can’t upgrade them because I don’t have skill tones. Without purchasing them, it takes forever. The only place to get the books reliably is clan boss or spend a bunch of shards and a shard, pulling event to get the two skill tones at the end of the event.
Ash a few things I disagree with. No complaints on your first point. Agree that new players should get like a Feast and a few chickens to start. Second point. As a F2P player, Mythical tomes arent a problem. Those you get from Hydra clash pretty regularly. I don't have a single mythic that doesnt have maxxed out skills but half the damn leggos are unbooked. Simply because you get like 20-30 books a month but some leggos require so damn many books and you cant choose where they land. I think there should be more places to farm leggo books from or like you suggested some stages in Cursed city should give them. Gear removal wise. I don't agree. I have so many lying around. But I would hate if the game became: Take your 20 best artifacts and move them around for every piece of content weekly or daily. That would be more awful than grinding gear. I genuinely think the free gear removal is pretty spot on if you're F2P. Instead of that I'd wish for that going up in dungeon stages you actually get rewarded. I'd happily farm FK Hard 10 if it didnt give rare or 5 star artifacts. That's ridiculous. That's the real point that needs fixing. Hard mode dungeons shouldnt give out rare gear and 5 star gear should also get removed once you go up to say lvl 7 8 9 10 in those dungeons. Make it worth our time and energy to farm those stages.
I assume that hydra clash only gives mythical books at levels that are not achievable for early/midgame players. And those players do have mythicals. I have never had those books from hydra, and have only seen them at a few events as top prize. Very hard to get.

The Great Hall grind has two challenges. I'm stuck at Arena Silver, which halts my progress on the mission to elevate a single Great Hall stat to 9. As a result, it feels like I'll never obtain Arbiter or fully maximize my Great Hall.
looking back, most fun with this game was the way to getting my first level 60 champ. I had no idea about the game, everything was new and basically every click was progression. So i dont agree with your first point. After 4 Years of playing free to play, skill tomes and silver arent a problem right now. My main problem is time. Playing through all my ressources on a daily bases, i just dont have time to play around with my artifacts/champions. My free gear removal tokens laying in the inbox and i dont use them at all. So this time i have to admit, that i dont face the problems, you showing in your video. Anyway, love you Ash, stay as you are and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
That's a great point about the starter champs. How hard would it be for the tutorial to involve taking free chickens, brews, feasts and barrels, and enough gems for masteries, but make them use them on their starter champ during the tutorial?
Dear Ash, as you said "but Ash, there is a way to earn skill tomes" , it is called advanced quests 😜 ... but they should also get updated to also have mythical skill tomes on the list. Gear removal should never cost anything ... like in every other game. 😔 Have a great Christmas Ash. 🎄

This game is all about resources. One of those resources are skill tombes. And like with every other resource use them wisely. If you don't book every lego, you get enough books from CB, tournaments etc.. Most legos are almost completely useless due to powercreep (I hate that too!), but it makes the decision for you easier. You get a champion, if they are end-game viable at the time you pull them and for the foreseeable future and if you have a use for them(!), book the champ (if possible only the skills you need), if not, put them into the vault. I am totally with you on many of your other points, though. Edit: Context, I am a late/end game, non-spender player. I say you get enough books if you use them very selectively. This may differ from an early game experience.

That's so cool that such a big CC mentions these problems that are difficult to overcome for not only f2p players but event for these who spend money. Fully booking a Lego as a F2P takes so much time... Gear tweaking - man I have to wait for Free Gear Removal events cause I'm always low on silver - cause I've spent it on upgrades. Farming Mino takes soo much time too.
skill tomes issue insant solved. change this plus 5 % into 10 %. There are so many champs that need 5,6 books just for 5 % extra Damage/ Chance. With this you have a lot books more and when you could choose what skill to book, it would reduce the amount of books needed once more. Second problem : Dupe legendaries. Sure, at a point you have a lot and dupes are normal, but in my case from 10 Legos, i get 8 dupes, and i miss around 35 % of the non void legos. For newer players it´s way more extreme. Pulling a Arbiter or a visix as your 3rd or 4th void lego kills you. So we need a dupe protection for new players. Maybe 35 % of all legos collected, you can get dupes, at void 50 %.
I 100% agree that new players need a better over experience with more resources available. If this game can't retain new players, us older players will inevitably, eventually quit when we grow bored/ tired and move on to new and shinier toys. Additionally, this game must and has to increase the ways to get shards such as sacreds, voids and books. There are hundreds of affinity champions available and there are no reason why Sacreds are so unreasonablly high in market ($15-$20 per wtf) and difficult to get in-game, when the pool is so watered down. Most of the champs are vault dwellers. And even if you do get a good champ, getting the 9-12 books to upgrade it is another entirely difficult struggle all together. If you compare this game to others in the genre, Plarium is just very stingy with any type of resource allocation. Guaranteed this Christmas we will all get a free Sacred and that will be our "Big Holiday reward". You know how many games run farmable events for players to enjoy, redeemable items, items giveaways all the time? I really hope the company taking over treats players better and is less predatorial as the current company. Good game, but bad company running it.
7:45 - i just don't book champions unless they are game changers - it sucks but helps me be sane. As for mythical - fused mikage but haven't pulled one yet so I am all set when I pull one.
I have 45 Lego's. Four are fully booked, Five are partially booked. I'm FTP and been playing for over two years. I'm able to two key clan boss, where I get most of my books..
1 farm books 2 farm chickens 3 cost of gear swaps/storage 4 need shard exchange to step up or down to get step up shards 5- quality of life - adding so many layers to a game already a grind
Let us combine lower books into higher books. Maybe 10 rare books > 1 epic. 10 epics > 1 legendary. 10 legendary > 1 mythical. You could get one mythical book for 1000 rare books. It would also create a use for all of those low level books that are basically useless outside of some cvc points on food.
I played this game for some months a while ago. I'm the kind of person who don't mind to grind and complete stuff in games, but this one is in a another level. After I level up multiple heroes and then, as I get new ones or find out there are better alternatives, I see it will take me a lot of time again....no, I don't want a second job. I also stopped playing because I feel free players are in a big disadvantage. If the developer will make a game for those who spend money so be it. They can keep the game to those kind of players long term...
You nailed it. Books and silver make this game SO annoying! If and when I quit it'll be because I finally just got sick of not being able to use my champs or gear them.
For a gatcha game, they should feature infinite champion vault space. Gear removal should be free, not those hourly free ones. Such simple features that can alleviate those other grindy feature.
Change the barrel to a feast so a new player can get a 6 star then they will see the grind is almost worth the six star. The barrel is ok but a feast would help new players get really going and possibly get them hooked. Give us a way to farm pages for books. Finally make mino auto complete or double the scrolls or something.

I think that should put in a upgrade system (if u have 15-25 rear books u can use then to make 1-5 epic books and so on 20 epic books turn it in to 5 lego books)
My suggestion is an auction house... one mans trash is another mans treasure and everyone could benefit... could make it to where anything could be sold in the auction house at the dicretion of the user to determine its value... if they overvalue their trash noone will buy it but for those that need it alot of people will if they have the means to do so which inevitably will keep things fairly priced and obtainable even if its user based
If they could let you start with 3 random epic/legendary/mithic characters like one of each and they have to be 1 support 1 attack one defender it would make things much easier and I know it sounds like a lot to give but it would bring in lots of players but everything you’ve said is accurate
They did add a feast and barrel to early quest/challenge but they dont give the knowledge needed. After normal campaign they should give you three 3 star deathknights and have you upgrade your starter to 4 star . after hard give you enough pots and silver to lvl a 4 star to max lvl40 and four 4 star chickens and have you make a 5 star and give you five 5* chickens for doing so. Books make a book mixer like potions 10 rare make epic 10 epic make lego 10 lego make mythical maybe 100k/500k/1m silver cost Silver issues. It should only cost half the sell vaule of item to remove and change it to sell or remove instead of destroy

One thing I've been thinking for a while, is Raid should make gear removal free all the time, just remove the cost of it in the game, because it makes it so much harder for players to swap builds and to even create better builds for their champions, when the silver they have to use on basically everything has to be also spent in large amounts just to swap gear.
tbh the only thing I (as a new player of 3 months now) would change in the game is - increase the energy cap, more multibattles, less bombarding ads (i def don't have 2000 euros a month to spend lmao), and more TOMES

I've stopped 6* legendary champions because I can't book them so they are pretty much useless to me until I get some books. On my alt it takes so long to progress in the game. I feel like I'm going nowhere on it. Energy cap is stupidly low. Silver gain is much lower than the silver spend in the game. I can farm a bunch and sell the gear for a few mill. Then spend around 2m sometimes to take one piece from +12 to +16... and they go and put up to 3 artifact enhancement events in fusions which can take up to 20mil+ to complete and drain all your silver. Mino farming needs to be made feasible. Also possibly not energy but keys or something? So much else to do and other events that you don't have the energy to also do mino so it just gets left. The instant upgrade champs the introduced kinda sucks. They need to allow for more control with it. Allow us to select what we want to use as food (1*champs, 2*, brews etc) and how many we want then select multiple champs to use on. E.G. I select to use 2 brews as my upgrade material, select multiple champs, press okay and all those champs are given 2 brews at once. Upgrade rank is a better feature, however sometimes it'll select a 3* champ that is level 29/30 which is a waste. But you can't deselect that champ and put in another one which would be nice. Could just be me, but I feel like they need to use their buff/debuff search filter, look at which have only a handful of champs that can do it and make sure their new champions contain those buffs/debuffs. I'm lucky I pulled Firrol. But without him I'm stuck for a perfect veil champ that I can use in Hydra. Even with him, it's not 100% upkeep and my champs get true fear and it always procs usually leading to a wipe. Looking at HH, there are 4 aoe veil leggos, 2 epic and 2 rare champions. Now we aren't going to use rares in hydra, so that leaves 2 epics. 1 is rector drath which I have never pulled and the other is Quargan but conditionally not on all champions. Increase resistance. Only 5 leggos, not a single epic or rare. Block passive skills 2 leggos. Things like that look at what you are lacking and add some more in. That's all I can think of for now. But yeah books are the main problem in the game. Champs are not worth using without.

Get the rares out of the primal shards.
Last four levels of mino. Either double the amount of scrolls given.or keep the amount the same, but award two champs scroll each run.
Allow players to move a blocking progression quest to the end of the line, once a month. To help get resources that help upgrade our champs. Plus it would put , hey I'm making progress. Instead of blah, forget it , can't clear this one , so not going to worry about the arbiter quest.
Increase the energy level. Clans with less then ten members get to complete more clan quests then 3 , every 6 days. Again would help alot with progression.

I think they put rares in primal shards to charge them at $5 a pop. Otherwise, they’d be a sacred shard with a chance for mythicals. They likely would charge exorbitant prices if that were the case like they do with sacred shards.

Make mastery scrolls usable by any champion, not just champions taking part in the minotaur fight, that way you can stockpile mastery scrolls for new champions you might acquire, and add a super raids option to minotaur as well.
Lastly, make a skill tome and a chicken farming dungeon.(higher dungeon difficulty rewards higher star chickens with last level, having a chance to drop a six star golden chicken that instantly brings your champion to 6 stars)
13:39 what makes you even think Plarium cares about the community? The fact that they refuse to correct Trunda? That they screwed tons of players over with hydra? Their irrational excuse why they can't raise the energy cap after 5+ years? The lie about more frequent champ rebalancing? A horribly untouched market & token trader shop? The most annoying pop-up monetization ad system of any game? Or the blatant disregard of any semblance of transparency?

@bagpusscat7839 it's true, ASH is a CC of the players for the players. I would like to be hopeful, but I see Plarium just like Boeing. Even with fines tires still fall off planes and door plugs blow out mid flight. Even their own employees won't fly on the planes

The QoL improvement that I want that I've not heard anybody talk about is a 'Select All' tick box next to each artefact set with the ability to then upgrade all artefact(s) from any selected set to level 4, 8, 12 & 16. This would be an amazing time saver for the arduous artefact enhancement events. Equally, it would be nice to select multiple individual artefacts and be able to do the same upgrading to level 4, 8, 12 & 16.
Another QoL improvement that I'd love is a sell button in the screen where you currently upgrade artefacts. As it stands you have to click upgrade and then if it's trash, you have to click out of the screen, click the sell button, re-select the artefact and finally sell it. It's unnecessarily long-winded. It makes far more sense to upgrade the artefact, see that it's trash, and sell it there and then.

for new players, i think it's easy to fix: just change the arbiter's mission reward and put chickens or a feast there.
Some notes for silver management:
-use all your free keys for gear acquisition even if you don’t need the sets. Like faction wars, doom tower, and cursed city. The forge is the true silver mine, not spider.
-save every gear piece you farm, even the shields from 12-3 brutal. Level everything to +4 during artifact enhancement events and sell them. Think of the useless gear pieces for artifact enhancement like you do mystery shards during summon rush and champ chase. Every little bit will help you in the long term.
-be brutal during gear cleanses and don’t gamble on gear upgrading. Only upgrade the pieces you think you will need. Every account is different, so there is never a magical rule of thumb.
-only farm stage 20 for dungeon diver events. You get more silver per energy pot than any other stage (you could farm stage 16 if you are very desperate, but the higher chance for 6* is too good to pass up in stage 20).
-look at all the events/tourneys for the early silver rewards. They are usually very easy to get and add up over time.
100% for the new players. A waay faster way to level 60 is a must.. the game is much more enjoyable when u get that first 60..
They should just give a feast with first 7 day login. Why make that first 60 such a grind and lose players so early. Let the rest be the grind but at least you have a farmer.

That's a great idea. But CB is another huge gate. They need sonething to help newer players get to a point where they're keying nm and unm clanboss. That's your steady stream of books and shards. Once you have that, it starts opening up other areas of the game...
Upgrade the market as your account upgrades, like they unlock other areas of the game as you level up. That way you can add more expensive items to the market that actually are worthwhile buying for a new player

I heavily agree with everything you said! We say it a lot but more artifact storage would also help improve the community's mood. I don't know what it's like to make and maintain a game like this but small acts of goodwill can't be THAT hard/gamebreaking, right?
They REALLY need more quality of life. The point of a game is to have fun but it feels like a full time job just to get a few shiny trinkets on a screen. I like the grind but it's so time consuming and constant FOMO feels more punishing than rewarding.
I have said that about the sliver three years ago! It should not cost 2 million to take off your breastplate give me a break! FREE GEAR REMOVAL PERIOD! Just do this! If your not going to improve our silver take just let us take our gear off for free charging a fortune to take off my boots is stupid! Their rewards across the board are lame they can increase silver rewards tomes and gear removal in these rewards! silver rewards should be minimal 1 million considering what they charge to upgrade and take off gear! I have also complained the rewards are crap! Doom tower needs better rewards they are lame! sign in rewards are so lame really when the last time they did anything there! Plaruim is cheap and the amount of money they make it will not kill them to increase these two values I totally agree!
Books and storage for champions/gear is a massive problem. I have no problem with everything else taking forever because I’m going to be playing for a long time I hope anyways, but when you have nowhere to keep good rares because you’re trying to keep good epics, and on top of that they’re adding new legendary you want, plus you can’t even keep all the gear you need for everybody moving around without sacrificing stuff you need, it gets ridiculous.

With that said I agree with the points of your video, I know you could not add this as to keep your video short. But I really wish they would adjust the Primal shard rate. There are people that get mad they are called "red ancients", yet the difference between them is only a 9% less chance to pull a rare than ancient shards. At least bump the mythical from 0.5% to a full 1%, and if they are not going to remove rares from primals, adjust them to like 70% and balance the percent among the legendary and epics. 0:04 0:04 0:04
I remember when someone brought up pages to farm for books, not a bad idea. Still a grind to buy energy, but you can focus on booking your your champs that you own. I have a backlog of countless epics (alot I don't want to book anyway) and a dozen legos or so. Booked champs make a big difference. Especially reduced cooldowns
Silver has become a massive problem now with chimera. You need 9 piece protection for supports, these supports are often your best champions so you need to shift gear around. You have hydra, chimera, dungeons and arena. Massive number of presets for gear on champions to remember where each champ's piece was. This last chimera I was lucky there was a free regear but 1hr is not enough. It takes a long time to run chimera so I need a few 1 hr regears to prepare my champs for chimera, then to regear for hydra and then whatever their previous roles were (arena/dungeons etc.). The free regears should be changed to something longer from 1 hour to 6 hours or a whole day. Making them more available would help too but 1hr regear is too short to be useful
I gave them a suggestion on their discord about a system that another game has already implemented succesfully to address the problem of making 6stars and the silver scarce.
They just need to implement the stigma system that epic 7 has right now. It is a currency that is tied to stamina/energy. 1 energy spent = 1 stigma. Then u can use that currency to buy chickens to rank up to 6star. That same stigma could be used to purchase brews that you could eventually sell if u decided to do so in exchange of silver. Then they could implement the overflow xp system that e7 has in which they gave you stigma based on the amount of xp gained when your champs are at max level.
doesnt E7 have the same balance issue with champs and Silver cost when dealing with artifacts and gear. dont get me started on their "stat" rerolls on gears, god thats a nightmare. should be copying summoners wars reprisal stones for those with potentially good gear.

True Ash , the first max character takes most until level 30 on your account before your first level 60 champ.
Dude I'm saying make a system where we can upgrade books and shards. Similar to how we can mix the ascension potions to create higher tier potions..we should be able to combine rare books for epic and epic for legendary, etc. Also same with shards: combine 100 mystery shards for 1 ancient and 50 ancients for one legendary, etc.
Also, I hate when you go to swap gear and the game automatically pops up the notification to use a Free Gear Removal, then you click No and it uses it anyways. I've lost 2 gear removals because of that.
I know it's on me for clicking it wrong but still annoying to have that popup
Main things for me (almost 6 year player) :
Time in game. They've been saying for ages they are aware and whilst they have implemented some changes it's glacially slowly.
The market. Have it upgrade as I complete content. If I unlock and complete hard dungeons, have it offer mythical gear for that dungeon.
Energy cap. With super raids I can do 3 x hard dungeons. That seems rather low...
Pvp currencies for area/affinity bonuses. Just have regular, 3v3 and live all reward the same currency but at different rates.
Gear. There are too many sets, look to streamline and maybe put some of the newer sets in dungeons to make them more enticing to farm.
Give us back our monthly chicken and sacred. 12 sacreds a year isn't even a guarantee of a legendary so what harm did it do?
Also, ditch the waves on bosses. Cursed city bosses are great with no waves and it'd help speed things up.
Yes, gear sets!! Farming one of the dungeons, looking for pieces TO THE ONLY SETS EVERYONE USES and getting a ton of pieces THAT NO ONE USES is total bs!! It's a waste of time, energy, everything!
A free feast per 1/4 would be a great thing for everybody. How many of us have a bunch of lvl 50 legendaries and epics that we want to get to 6 star?
8:10 as and end game player epic and rare tomes are purely for cvc/training tournament points
They already have a mixer concept for potions, just apply it to tomes: 10 rare because 1 epic, 7/8 epic become a legendary, 5 legendary become a Mythical tome

Could not agree more. I already commented on another creator's channel about it, but for the longevity of the game I do believe they need to make some changes as the game has evolved since it first began. One thing I loved right away about King Arthur was that there was a Dungeon for obtaining EXP potions and Enhancement pieces. Leveling up champs/hero characters should not be hard. It's okay if it takes some time/grind, but it needs to be more accessible than waiting on RNG and winning awards or spending money. Spending money should always be about doing it quicker. Same goes with those books as you mentioned. And honestly, the game would be much better for all if you could farm that stuff for leveling your characters instead of feeding champs for other champs.
I also commented this on another channel but will put it here too. In my opinion I am looking more forward to making it to Gold Live Arena than where I am at now (currently Silver III). This is because Tiers below Gold are all just players using the same champs over and over, it's more so about who has better blessings and gear, you don't stand a chance if you're lower in those, that makes it boring and undesirable as a game mode. However, in Gold since there are unique champs as you draft you can add actual strategy to it, and I wish it started like that from Bronze. Then they add another rule at Silver Tier, something like only one attacker may be selected or something like that. And then when you reach Gold they increase the rules again, and something like players are unable to draft a reviver (all forms of reviving to include passives). I think making players strategize more during the draft would make it more fun, but that is me. I would also just completely remove Tag Team arena honestly because I can't think of a single person that enjoys the game mode, and there's just no point to it. And even further, I wish it was only Live Arena and Siege as the main PVP modes and that Live Arena was open all day.
Almost every aspect of the game is included occasionally in Events and Tournaments. I would like to see them include Potion Keeps and Minotaurs Labyrinth also.

Definitely agree with the level 60 thing. Like you've said before, most people are casuals that play this game and don't chase Platinum. Some just want to have fun using champions they think look cool out of the 1k+ champions they have. It feels like we are forced to level a very particular champion up to 60 that is great at wave clearing to level up our food. Then we need to be able to get that time down as fast as we can since the game is so time consuming as is.
The fact that it takes time to build up a team and start clearing Doom Tower or Hydra or whatever is ok. I feel like there is way too much time when starting out setting up our account to be able to do basic things however that we don't really get to actually play the game for quite awhile
My ideas!!!
1. Live market, you can trade anything at a cost i.e 1000 gems to enter into live market once a week. You can' trade 5 legendary books for maybe a dupe legend someon else has.
2. Forbidden library where you can farm all books on certain days of the week. You earn pages to craft into books. example 100 pages = the corresponding book.
3.make a "casino" where you can spin for shards, champs of all varieties, books for a price. 3x max a week with the first being on the house since PLARIIUM HAS AND INSANE AMOUNT OF CHAMPIONS.. You pay 5$ per spin after the free one to see if you can get some insane loot or trash. Keep it interesting while not dipping huge sums of money!.

One thing I don't really hear mentioned much that frustrates me is the lack of ways to farm crit rate and crit damage glyphs. It is weird that there is a way to get all glyhps for the other stats, but not those 2. That i have to cross my fingers and hope that i can roll a 3 or 4 on the substat.

I think I liked the game best during the early grind (although I had NO idea you needed to get to lvl 60 as quickly as possible)
A few more tomes would be nice - but I really like the hard choices that have to be made.
I rather like that champs 'own' specific artifacts - but they should be able to have multiple dedicated sets without having to spend.
My biggest gripe is the level of complexity of the gear overall. Both the number of sets out there, and the annoyance of each piece being really individual. I don't see them changing any of that, but it's what is driving me out of the game after 3+ years. A game simply should not require that you use external applications to manage your account.
Another personal gripe is the stupid tag team mission, when they keep the limit of players at a level from (at least) when I started playing, while the user base has grown. I'm of the opinion that I either have to get that Ramantu goal now, or the window will just keep moving further away - and if I don't make it pretty soon (with the further power creep from relics now), I think I'm out.
i got arbiter today and thought the same when i saw that they have tag team arena for the next champ
pvp as 'progression' mission is so stupid.
Normal arena for arbiter works only because there is no limit and enough people have a 1 hero deff to get to gold even as a newbe (been there since week 3) and even live arena would work since you dont loose points/get more then you loose until gold i guess
but tagteam? with the limited slots? thats jsut ridiculouse.
ill give them a "improvement" ticket once i get to that mission and do the same as i did last time: playing the game as far as i enjoy and then quite once i did all i could
and to be honest the prices are 10 times more then i would be willing to pay for any game so i stay free-to-play with out a question - 50/70 bucks for he-man? i rather get a second eldenring copy for that much money

i think another option for improving the silver issues (alongside what you suggest, because regearing will still be required for changing sets for some bosses etc) is just remove 5* gear from the highest levels of content so it is easier to farm upgrades once you have put the effort in to perfect your teams etc.
The skill tomes thing is so true,I just pulled an archbishop pinthroy and I don't think it's worth building him because I just can't book him out

3:50 the champion leveling system in WoR is incredible. I have enough food champs and the chicken equivalent things right now to MAX out over 60 champions any time I want. Its so easy.
Bless you Ash for speaking to the new players. You CCs have gotten away from the base (new players) with your advanced accounts and maxxed out Great Halls.
My first 6 star was Knecht, I was so excited to use him as a maxed out champion. It was gruesome to go from a 1 star to a 6 star. Then once I got a full team I was even more excited. I relate with grinding less for your first 6 stars.

Adding another comment to go along with my other one because I’ve thought of something else.
- This could just be me, but I look at PVP as more the penultimate level of any progression. That said, my thoughts are that it might be cool to have an entire separate portion of the game that Clans can opt into with the Clash concept. Something where a clan goes, “Hey everyone, we are crushing this game mode, or these game modes, you want to go test ourselves against other clans?” And those clans can then decide to do so. However, all the game modes should be more focused on helping with account progression first and foremost, so I think unless the clan has opted into the clash mode it’s just normal PVE the clan can tackle to progress everyone’s accounts. And the current clash rewards should be obtainable by every player as their clan masters the mode. And then when you opt into the clash mode there are even greater rewards above and beyond the current clash rewards that you have to opt into clash to get. Those are just my thoughts, and maybe so agree and some disagree, but thought I would share.
Once again you nailed some issues that can make a big difference in the game for both new and veteran players.
If Plarium wanted to fix the game in addition to what ash mentioned, to me, as a returning newish player:
1. Dungeon energy costs should be halved, or energy cap should be increased.
2. Doom tower should be free to complete and not cost keys
3. Hydra + Chimera clash rewards should give stuff to everyone who finished first, second, third instead of locking it behind a damage threshold that is not possible for lower power level clans. There is literally no reason to do hydra if you cannot even hit 35M damage.
4. Make packs worth the money and stop with making us bring up a raid cost calculator to figure out if we are being scammed or not.
5. Popups limited to once a day or setting to turn it off. Red dot in shop button to notify that a new pack is available.
6. Let us see what character souls are for in the soul collection tab.
7. Cursed city should be unlocked at 45, not 52
8. They need to give out 1 ancient shard a day in the shop (replacing the one a week)
9. Stop locking fusions behind tournaments. There is no way for a new f2p player from ever finishing these events without spending money.
think they should add a new dungeon boss from the dwaven faction. Alberich. (in german mythos was a dwaven hero who guarded Nibelungs treasure and has the strength of 12 men) could make it so its just him similar to spider but he has 12 lives and for each one you defeat you have a chance of different skill points. each death he get slightly stronger say like 2% atk, def, spd, similar to the primal fragments where u need 100 for a primal shard. each life has a chance of rare, epic, legendary and mythical skill points. once you have 100 of any you can get a skill orb which works like the skill tomes for that level.
could be say since he has 12 lives in one run you could get 6 rare 4 epic 1 legendary, 1 mythical. but next could be 2 rare 2 epic 3 legendary 5 mythical. higher chance of rare then epic etc.
give him 10 stages similar to hard mode
have 5 keys daily so people cannot speed blitz it similar to iron twins. give people a chance at least.
Definitely also like the idea of letting people trade a rare for even one token and maybe like five tokens for an Epic. It would still take a long time, but something people could do, and eventually add some value to the token trader thing.
Upgrade mino to lvl 20 and give it a minimal % to get tombs , 2 birds 1 stone ( masteries/skill upgrades) at the same time .
Minotaur update I want: Have a stage 25. Make completing stage 25 with a champ with no scrolls get instant all basic scrolls in a single run. Maybe advanced scrolls can be completed for a champ with just 2-3 runs. Advanced, maybe 10 runs. I rather this than rework Minotaur to drop something else and have scrolls a chance to drop from other content. Maybe after normal stage 25 minotaur is added, a hard mode can be added with not guaranteed book drops, but at least some chance of books to drop. Sure, maybe not include mythical books in this, but do something to help the legendary book issue. Personally, I feel like I'm able to get mythical books easier than I can get legendary books, but I only have 1 mythical champ that is already booked. Sitting on 30-ish mythical books now, but only 5 legendary books. At each CvC, I would love to be able to fully book 1 legendary champ.
Silver farming sucks. Most of all with spider being the go-to place to do so, but then I feel like I'm wasting energy. Every accessory I get from there, I sell. Sure, I might be mid/end game, so this isn't the case for everyone, but once the 9-piece sets became a thing, I see zero reason to hold onto basic accessories. They should balance all of the dungeons gear and accessories to be valued closer to being the same when sold. So say I use 10k energy on a dungeon, such as FK, if I spend 10k energy on spider, I think selling all drops from each should come out to be roughly the same. Of course this will vary on RNG on the loot quality, but I hope I made my point clear.
Something I want:
Rework the inbox. Better filters. Let me sell gear/accessories from it after seeing the stats on them, right from the inbox. If my champ list is full, but I have space in either vault, let me send overflow champs from the inbox to either vault. I don't think the inbox has had any changes to it since I began Raid years ago.
Thank you SO MUCH for saying what needed to be said!! Let's just hope they listen and actually DO CARE about keeping new players and even mid game players who are tired of these things.

What I want more for being a new player(27days active).. is a TM radar somewhere on the screen(doesn't have to big, maybe underneath your Champ team). So that you plan on how/calculate when to use abilities if you know you will go first if Everyone has 100TM. Instead of Squinting or grabbing your micro ruler to measure to see who is going first

Merry Christmas Ash. My biggest problem is 3x3 arena. They need to change the flat number of people per level to a Percentage. In March it will be 3 years I've been trying to get into Silver 4 and right now I can't even hold silver 2.
Great ideas. What if there was a market or a way for players to trade or sell things to each other? Maybe even give or trade champions? Or like you said better things in the market? shards, tomes, energy, gems a way to turn silver into anything in the game.
I think that is one of my biggest beefs with this game. Is having to pay to take gear off of a person that already has gear they own the gear. Why should they pay to take the gear off? We pay to level it we paid to earn the gear and now we have to pay to take the gear off doesn’t make sense. I could understand back when the game first came out when that was the only real currency they had was silver now there’s so much other stuff in the game and so many gear sets and so much content you have to switch gear your best gear to champions to defeat that good content I don’t do the cursed city because I have to mule gear around and I don’t have enough silver to do that and do fusions. And I’m with you on the skill tones because I have a crap ton of legendary champions that I would love to use, but I can’t upgrade them because I don’t have skill tones. Without purchasing them, it takes forever. The only place to get the books reliably is clan boss or spend a bunch of shards and a shard, pulling event to get the two skill tones at the end of the event.

Ash a few things I disagree with.
No complaints on your first point. Agree that new players should get like a Feast and a few chickens to start.
Second point. As a F2P player, Mythical tomes arent a problem. Those you get from Hydra clash pretty regularly. I don't have a single mythic that doesnt have maxxed out skills but half the damn leggos are unbooked. Simply because you get like 20-30 books a month but some leggos require so damn many books and you cant choose where they land. I think there should be more places to farm leggo books from or like you suggested some stages in Cursed city should give them.
Gear removal wise. I don't agree. I have so many lying around. But I would hate if the game became: Take your 20 best artifacts and move them around for every piece of content weekly or daily. That would be more awful than grinding gear. I genuinely think the free gear removal is pretty spot on if you're F2P. Instead of that I'd wish for that going up in dungeon stages you actually get rewarded. I'd happily farm FK Hard 10 if it didnt give rare or 5 star artifacts. That's ridiculous. That's the real point that needs fixing. Hard mode dungeons shouldnt give out rare gear and 5 star gear should also get removed once you go up to say lvl 7 8 9 10 in those dungeons. Make it worth our time and energy to farm those stages.

I assume that hydra clash only gives mythical books at levels that are not achievable for early/midgame players. And those players do have mythicals. I have never had those books from hydra, and have only seen them at a few events as top prize. Very hard to get.

The Great Hall grind has two challenges. I'm stuck at Arena Silver, which halts my progress on the mission to elevate a single Great Hall stat to 9. As a result, it feels like I'll never obtain Arbiter or fully maximize my Great Hall.
looking back, most fun with this game was the way to getting my first level 60 champ. I had no idea about the game, everything was new and basically every click was progression. So i dont agree with your first point.
After 4 Years of playing free to play, skill tomes and silver arent a problem right now. My main problem is time. Playing through all my ressources on a daily bases, i just dont have time to play around with my artifacts/champions. My free gear removal tokens laying in the inbox and i dont use them at all.
So this time i have to admit, that i dont face the problems, you showing in your video.

That's a great point about the starter champs. How hard would it be for the tutorial to involve taking free chickens, brews, feasts and barrels, and enough gems for masteries, but make them use them on their starter champ during the tutorial?
Dear Ash, as you said "but Ash, there is a way to earn skill tomes" , it is called advanced quests 😜 ... but they should also get updated to also have mythical skill tomes on the list.
Gear removal should never cost anything ... like in every other game. 😔

Thanks for the positive vibs Ash. I'm a new viewer and i've been enjoying your content. I just started playing Raid about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
This game is all about resources. One of those resources are skill tombes. And like with every other resource use them wisely. If you don't book every lego, you get enough books from CB, tournaments etc.. Most legos are almost completely useless due to powercreep (I hate that too!), but it makes the decision for you easier. You get a champion, if they are end-game viable at the time you pull them and for the foreseeable future and if you have a use for them(!), book the champ (if possible only the skills you need), if not, put them into the vault. I am totally with you on many of your other points, though.
Edit: Context, I am a late/end game, non-spender player. I say you get enough books if you use them very selectively. This may differ from an early game experience.

That's so cool that such a big CC mentions these problems that are difficult to overcome for not only f2p players but event for these who spend money. Fully booking a Lego as a F2P takes so much time... Gear tweaking - man I have to wait for Free Gear Removal events cause I'm always low on silver - cause I've spent it on upgrades. Farming Mino takes soo much time too.
skill tomes issue insant solved. change this plus 5 % into 10 %. There are so many champs that need 5,6 books just for 5 % extra Damage/ Chance. With this you have a lot books more and when you could choose what skill to book, it would reduce the amount of books needed once more.
Second problem : Dupe legendaries. Sure, at a point you have a lot and dupes are normal, but in my case from 10 Legos, i get 8 dupes, and i miss around 35 % of the non void legos. For newer players it´s way more extreme. Pulling a Arbiter or a visix as your 3rd or 4th void lego kills you. So we need a dupe protection for new players. Maybe 35 % of all legos collected, you can get dupes, at void 50 %.
Use the MTG Jedi (mind) trick of using the sparring pit to level up 4 champs of rank 4 level 1 to rank 50 for food.

I 100% agree that new players need a better over experience with more resources available. If this game can't retain new players, us older players will inevitably, eventually quit when we grow bored/ tired and move on to new and shinier toys.
Additionally, this game must and has to increase the ways to get shards such as sacreds, voids and books. There are hundreds of affinity champions available and there are no reason why Sacreds are so unreasonablly high in market ($15-$20 per wtf) and difficult to get in-game, when the pool is so watered down. Most of the champs are vault dwellers. And even if you do get a good champ, getting the 9-12 books to upgrade it is another entirely difficult struggle all together.
If you compare this game to others in the genre, Plarium is just very stingy with any type of resource allocation. Guaranteed this Christmas we will all get a free Sacred and that will be our "Big Holiday reward". You know how many games run farmable events for players to enjoy, redeemable items, items giveaways all the time?
I really hope the company taking over treats players better and is less predatorial as the current company. Good game, but bad company running it.

7:45 - i just don't book champions unless they are game changers - it sucks but helps me be sane. As for mythical - fused mikage but haven't pulled one yet so I am all set when I pull one.
I have 45 Lego's. Four are fully booked, Five are partially booked. I'm FTP and been playing for over two years. I'm able to two key clan boss, where I get most of my books..
1 farm books 2 farm chickens 3 cost of gear swaps/storage 4 need shard exchange to step up or down to get step up shards 5- quality of life - adding so many layers to a game already a grind
Let us combine lower books into higher books. Maybe 10 rare books > 1 epic. 10 epics > 1 legendary. 10 legendary > 1 mythical. You could get one mythical book for 1000 rare books. It would also create a use for all of those low level books that are basically useless outside of some cvc points on food.
Skill tomes! Can't agree more on that. Or shards *other* than ancients for purchase with in-game currency.
I played this game for some months a while ago. I'm the kind of person who don't mind to grind and complete stuff in games, but this one is in a another level. After I level up multiple heroes and then, as I get new ones or find out there are better alternatives, I see it will take me a lot of time again....no, I don't want a second job. I also stopped playing because I feel free players are in a big disadvantage. If the developer will make a game for those who spend money so be it. They can keep the game to those kind of players long term...
You nailed it. Books and silver make this game SO annoying! If and when I quit it'll be because I finally just got sick of not being able to use my champs or gear them.

For a gatcha game, they should feature infinite champion vault space. Gear removal should be free, not those hourly free ones.
Such simple features that can alleviate those other grindy feature.

Change the barrel to a feast so a new player can get a 6 star then they will see the grind is almost worth the six star. The barrel is ok but a feast would help new players get really going and possibly get them hooked. Give us a way to farm pages for books. Finally make mino auto complete or double the scrolls or something.

I think that should put in a upgrade system (if u have 15-25 rear books u can use then to make 1-5 epic books and so on 20 epic books turn it in to 5 lego books)
My suggestion is an auction house... one mans trash is another mans treasure and everyone could benefit... could make it to where anything could be sold in the auction house at the dicretion of the user to determine its value... if they overvalue their trash noone will buy it but for those that need it alot of people will if they have the means to do so which inevitably will keep things fairly priced and obtainable even if its user based
If they could let you start with 3 random epic/legendary/mithic characters like one of each and they have to be 1 support 1 attack one defender it would make things much easier and I know it sounds like a lot to give but it would bring in lots of players but everything you’ve said is accurate
They did add a feast and barrel to early quest/challenge but they dont give the knowledge needed. After normal campaign they should give you three 3 star deathknights and have you upgrade your starter to 4 star . after hard give you enough pots and silver to lvl a 4 star to max lvl40 and four 4 star chickens and have you make a 5 star and give you five 5* chickens for doing so.
Books make a book mixer like potions 10 rare make epic 10 epic make lego 10 lego make mythical maybe 100k/500k/1m silver cost

Let us refresh advanced quests. There are set days when i cant do hydra and naturally i always get hydra mission that day and miss out doom tower keys

One thing I've been thinking for a while, is Raid should make gear removal free all the time, just remove the cost of it in the game, because it makes it so much harder for players to swap builds and to even create better builds for their champions, when the silver they have to use on basically everything has to be also spent in large amounts just to swap gear.

tbh the only thing I (as a new player of 3 months now) would change in the game is - increase the energy cap, more multibattles, less bombarding ads (i def don't have 2000 euros a month to spend lmao), and more TOMES
We (Speaking of me and my clan in Legacy) come from Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast and I wish there’s progression with souls like common to ancient to sacred and with voids make a common void ancient void and then sacred Void like legacy did with souls
10 Common souls 3-5 Star characters = 1 Epic souls guaranteed 4 stars characters
10 epic souls 4 Star characters = GUARANTEED 5 Star characters Mythical soul
I've stopped 6* legendary champions because I can't book them so they are pretty much useless to me until I get some books.
On my alt it takes so long to progress in the game. I feel like I'm going nowhere on it.
Energy cap is stupidly low.
Silver gain is much lower than the silver spend in the game. I can farm a bunch and sell the gear for a few mill. Then spend around 2m sometimes to take one piece from +12 to +16... and they go and put up to 3 artifact enhancement events in fusions which can take up to 20mil+ to complete and drain all your silver.
Mino farming needs to be made feasible. Also possibly not energy but keys or something? So much else to do and other events that you don't have the energy to also do mino so it just gets left.
The instant upgrade champs the introduced kinda sucks. They need to allow for more control with it. Allow us to select what we want to use as food (1*champs, 2*, brews etc) and how many we want then select multiple champs to use on. E.G. I select to use 2 brews as my upgrade material, select multiple champs, press okay and all those champs are given 2 brews at once.
Upgrade rank is a better feature, however sometimes it'll select a 3* champ that is level 29/30 which is a waste. But you can't deselect that champ and put in another one which would be nice.
Could just be me, but I feel like they need to use their buff/debuff search filter, look at which have only a handful of champs that can do it and make sure their new champions contain those buffs/debuffs. I'm lucky I pulled Firrol. But without him I'm stuck for a perfect veil champ that I can use in Hydra. Even with him, it's not 100% upkeep and my champs get true fear and it always procs usually leading to a wipe. Looking at HH, there are 4 aoe veil leggos, 2 epic and 2 rare champions. Now we aren't going to use rares in hydra, so that leaves 2 epics. 1 is rector drath which I have never pulled and the other is Quargan but conditionally not on all champions.
Increase resistance. Only 5 leggos, not a single epic or rare. Block passive skills 2 leggos. Things like that look at what you are lacking and add some more in.
That's all I can think of for now. But yeah books are the main problem in the game. Champs are not worth using without.
