There are so many layers to this dude. What a stellar addition to the channel. He is such a joy to watch & always ends with a deep & meaningful message…”food for thought”, which I appreciate.

that respect to the elders part got me, I feel the same way with my mom and grandma's recipes, do it right otherwise it feels like disrespect. Awesome video, much love
Harold is officially my favourite chef on BA! I've tried every recipe he's made so far (besides the fancy truffle risotto XD). Can't wait to try this one next!
Me encantan los vídeos de Harold! Me ha descubierto la cocina filipina y tengo muchísimas ganas de hacer todos los platos. Un abrazo desde España! Keep it up!
I love you, ur real and don't try to act like someone else by being uppity like others. AND I absolutely 💯 love what you say about this recipe...we ALWAYS have to give respect to our elders and the way they've taught us to make traditional meals...and in my fam, when you're young, you always prep & chop what they need. And that's definitely how I learned. 😊🥰
I like how real you are.. you make the dish, taste it..see if it needs salt and then add. We ALL do that in the kitchen, we just don't show... but you showed
I don’t even know where to start on how amazing this vid is: chef harold is awesome, the recipe looks absolutely banging, it’s introduced me to ingredients I had never heard about...I could go on on and on and on!
This is so good! And very authentic. Just needs like 4 cups of rice, half a bottle of that chicken drippings (chicken oil as we call it) and a tall glass of coke!
I didn't notice Chef Harold already became my favorite until I checked BA for Chef Harold playlist then saw that I already watched all of his videos. 😅🤣
Me as a native filipino seeing the calamansi: ... thats a clementine.... Bc here its ALWAYS green. Also Uncle Harold is my new fave. He's that one tito who drinks San Miguel with you while you talk about life and cook bbq
I love how he took a giant spoonful of the mac for his taste-test - in this sort of setting most people are scared of how they might look on camera if they don't take a dainty bite.

What happened? I don’t follow any of them on external social media
Racism… unfair pay to people of color… everyone quit except for Brad Chris and Andy…
