- Next week, U.S. Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby will sentence former Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
Mosby was convicted of mortgage fraud and perjury.
She's facing up to 40 years in prison. However, her attorneys contend she should have never been criminally investigated and prosecuted.
There's a petition urging President Joe Biden to pardon Mosby.
On Wednesday, Roland spoke with former Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Monique Pressley, Legal Analyst and Host of Make It Make Sense with Monique Pressley about Mosby's looming sentencing and appeal for a presidential pardon.

I have not looked into it so hard for me to have an opinion. I want to know what exactly she was charged with and what was their evidence? I mean, I know tons of innocent people get convicted in this country, hell, I was one of them. But still I need to know particulars before I can have an opinion one way or another. Wrongly accused? Sir I’m from Baltimore she did not get convicted for taking her own money out of retirement... she was convicted on 1 count of perjury for Lying!! She abused the terms of the federal CARES act during the pandemic by claiming that she was under undue hardship while making $265,000 a year for her salary as state's attorney here in Baltimore city. She was also convicted on 1 count of mortgage fraud for lying on the application. She lied about being under financial hardship, took her $80K in retirement without facing the 10% early withdrawal penalty fee and then went and BOUGHT two million dollar condo's in Florida. It has nothing to do with her work against police brutality.

As a former DHS/ICE employee and a Military veteran , I used to borrow money from my TSP account all the time. Also, you can withdraw money for financial hardship. I did not need to get approval from anyone other than my spouse. This is a witch hunt.

To summarize for you, she filed for *certain exemptions with the withdrawal* related to covid programs and other exemptions. This was found to be against the rules you conveniently "haven't heard of".
