- Testing out different gearing with the Arrma Infraction. We hit 101mph with 32t pinion gear and stock 46t spur gear, and that's plenty for the 100mph club!!! Also running SMC 9700mah 120c 3s batteries, all stock electronics. Also I forgot to mention in the video that I was running carbon fiber side skirts and front areo skirts to help keep air out of the body😁🤙

Got the same one and love this beast👍Got the 160 amp firma esc and 8s motor but haven’t had any problems with stock yet❤️So just keep it on the shelf to rebuild when I upgrade😁

I forgot to mention I was using SMC 120c burst rating batteries. Good batteries is also a must! And thank you, good luck hitting 100mph!

Wow that’s cool on stock electronics. I keep getting esc cut of on mine so I put a max 6 and got 102mph on 28t pinion but had that esc cut on me as well with no brakes=big crash
Nice! Except for the crash😅 Good speed run batteries makes a world of difference, also preheating lipos will help with voltage sag and cutting out

Yeah I installed a 1520 1650kv motor with a sidewinder 6s ESC, 57T spur, 19T pinion

Just ordered an infraction finally. Ive got alot of cars planes and helis but stoked about this one. I have a 94mph Tamiya tt02 I built with cheap electronics and 1:1 gearing. Its the only car ive got for speed runs. Ill prolly end up putting a castle mamba monster 8s in the infraction.
Awesome! You'll love it for sure! If you plan on speed running, I would suggest a Castle xlx2 esc. It's the go to esc for pushing big numbers. Also great for bashing 💪
@@zagertRC im sure hesitant on the xlx2 since soo many people have had them short and burn their cars to the ground. Maybe castle fixed that though.
@@zagertRC is the stock infraction motor too high of a KV for the xlx2 on 6s?

I use them in a bunch of my videos. I usually have to stand away from the rc when I'm talking 😆 Also he's always sold out🤦

I am confused and unable to make decision between Felony Vs Infraction.
Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks.
Please help whether I should go with Felony or infraction for drivability,speed and durability
Felony is fun, but not the best for speed running. Infraction would be my choice for easier upgrades and driveability. Plus you can put whatever limitless gt body on the Infraction easy.

I was using the PPS motor mount, but i think it's about the same as stock and should hold up to 34/46 or 80t total.
Where did you get the 32t gear pinion from? Also, did you leave the spur gear @ stock which I believe is 46

With the v2 did they fix the issue with the esc overheating that was happening in the v1?
I don't know anything about the v1. But it didn't have any problems this day. A week later I tried 40/40 gearing and it went out soon after 😅 It's 8s xlx2 now👍

What app are you using for speed?
You have to buy a Sky Rc GPS first and then use it with the app. Here's the GPS on Amazon, it might be cheaper other places if you shop around.

i did 34/46 and got 91mph pb with 2 hrb 5000mah 3s but i got the v1 so with the v2 diff ratio difference i guess it can gain 10mph
That's a solid number. Idk the c rating on those batteries, but I'm guessing it's low. You need 100c or better rating. Unless you get CHNL g+ batteries, those are good no matter the c rating.
I use SMC 9700mah, 120c batteries. Also warm batteries will make a world of difference

@@maagneticc6470 The CHNL batteries should get you over 100 with this gearing. I've never ran them, but I've heard great things about them.

@@zagertRC right now I’m 29/39 and can’t pass 88 I have gens ace 120c basher battery and I get esc cut and no settings were messed with other than breaks to stop

Do they even know how fast it goes? 3s 5000 100c x 2 on fresh paved roads literally out of the box 77 mph.
