Ive got a little Marshall practice amp with an octave FX that i have a blast using. Messing with octaves is one of my favorite effects! I agree with you, the #1 knob on the sonicake sounds very much like Richie Blackmore! Very cool!
Can you do another review where you play around with the blend? I assume you could've used the white dial to control the mix between the original pitch and the octave. Presumably if you were to move it to the left, there would be less guitar sound blending with the octave. I wonder if one could set it up to hear only the first octave: turning the octave 1 dial all the way up, the octave 2 dial all the way down, and the white dial all the way down as well.
