Indeed! Yours certainly has more punch, but I have enjoyed this edited a fair amount and it is crazy affordable for me here, so, cheers to some quality Indian malt!
It is young but not immature. Very nice dram indeed. I find something of Sringbank 10 in it. I had a miniature bottle and it has a clear statement on the back: DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY ADDED FLAVOUR OR COLOUR. The full size bottles have "NO ARTIFICIAL COULOURS OR FLAVOURS" written on the back label. Cheers!
I would agree, a little Springbank character! This bottle sadly does not have that statement, but I am certainly prepared to accept it. Thanks for sharing!
hey buddy looks like we are both having an Indian whisky weekend...great job Jon....

This one was on clearance for $37 USD. I like it. Tons of tropical fruit, rustic barley and a kiss of peat.
Yes, and for that price, I think it is an excellent value!
Cheers Jon!
Same to you!

Definitely interested in trying some Indian Single malts. Thanks for this recommendation 👍🥃
I have only had a couple, but Paul John have been good malts, and still affordable.
@@WhiskyNeighbour actually now that I think of it I saw one behind a glass case yesterday for $125 I wonder what bottle it was.
@@WhiskeyQuests Not sure, but like all distilleries they have some limited "monsters" out there!
Haven't tried the Edited yet but...I hear good things. Cheers Jon.
Certainly young, but a good malt and for reasons I cannot explain, crazy affordable here, like 20 quid!
Tried amrut single peated at 46 and was fantastic. It reminds me of lag 16 but is non coloured and 46 abv
Sounds great. I really enjoy Lag 16, so if this is close and yet 46 all natural, I am sure I would love it. cheers!
If You Love Smokey Whisky Then Try Once Paul John Bold ..... 🥃
Thanks, I will. I have a bottle on the shelf, but I have not opened it yet. Cheers!
@@WhiskyNeighbour Cheers 🥃
I've seen a lot of people trying Indian whiskeys, particularly Paul John but I've not tried them... I'm feeling like I should remedy that!
I have not had many, but this is a quaily release. I hope you have the chance to try it!
If you want more peat from Paul John you will need to find their "Bold" expression...
I have an unopened bottle on the shelf! Hopefully soon. Do you enjoy that one more?
@@WhiskyNeighbour For me, the best one was the Brilliance, followed by the Nirvana... I can easily leave the Bold and the Edited from what I remember.
@@foodquig good to know! I enjoy this one
