This works gloriously as background noise for a very cerebral job. I'm a copyeditor and find it difficult to focus when the subject matter or writing style is dry. If I put on this one or one of the sleep companion sounds I find it much easier to get in the zone. I guess it just makes me feel not so alone while I work, even though alone to work is where I like to be lol.
