Two of the best organs in the States are found in Salt Lake City. The Tabernacle Organ and The Conference Center Organ. You should check them out if you’re ever able to. And of course you can’t forget Hazel, the organ at Christ Cathedral. She’s magnificent.
The people who made that organ took a lot of time and dedication cause it is all hand crafted and extravagant. Not to mention you played that organ as it was meant to be played.
Uhh! I usually put it in the video description because it also helps with tags and keywords for the YT search 😀 My description says: Paul Fey Organist playing the amazing organ built by Walcker Organs at Methuen Memorial Music Hall in Methuen, MA. This organ features incredibly beautiful flutes, reeds and a very strong pedal section as well! #organ #music #sheetmusic #musician
Hey Paul .. just a suggestion. But everytimes i tried to find what organ in what town you play and what pièce and composer ?? Those 4 éléments should be évident to find for everyones. 1 the place 2 the church and the organ 3 the composer and 4 the bwv number or name of partiture ... please it's important for many peoples who are not professionals and want to understand more.
Phenomenal playing, Lad. What piece would that be that you played? I am not familiar with it and would very much like to hear it in its entirety. Slàinte Mhath🏴
The builder was E. F. Walcker. it is in the Methuen Memorial Music Hall. There are several videos available on UA-cam with various artists on this organ. Enjoy!
@@The_DuMont_Network the first church I had after finishing my masters had an EM Skinner of 3 manuals and 50-60 ranks. Sadly, multiple people over the preceding two decades had butchered it up in their personal attempts to “improve” it. With no one knowledgeable on staff or in the congregation, they went to hiring the cheapest tuners they could find who would make repairs along the way. It was a sad whispered wreck of what had once been probably fantastic.
@@Mrs.Karen_Walker As an American I agree that all countries or regions have some outstanding builders who do exquisite work with widely differing acoustics. Oddly, in the States is it the Canadian firm of Casavant in Montreal that does the best work here. But some of those Dutch organs are just unmatched and unparalleled anywhere on earth! Dudelange is undoubtedly my favorite, followed by Laurenskirk in Rotterdam.
The king of all musical instruments. I played in a church for 5 years. It was wonderful.
Awesome sound! Great job Paul
What a beautiful façade.

you have such a beautiful sound paul. i enjoy watching your videos. also the cinematography is amazing 🤩
I’m sure it’s one of the best organs, but I bet it has a lot to do with the talent of the organist!
Thank you!!

My great grandfather used to install and tune/service pipe organs in Spain and than Mexico. Definitely not a lot of those people around anymore
Wow, that is an incredible organ and your playing is so natural! It put a smile on my face :D

You’re my hero Paul! How did you get into the pipe organ in the first?
Wait till you play the Midmer Losh that has 33,112 pipes
Welcome to Methuen Massachusetts Paul
I think the Mormon Tabernacle facade borrows heavily from this facade design.
Will you be making ur way out west?
May I know whose arrangement of Shaker Melody this is?
Thats my arrangement on the tune! 😀 You can find the full video + sheet music here: ua-cam.com/video/CZMm9bjKjoU/v-deo.htmlsi=KlbobN5OZTb21Ah2
@@PaulFeyAh, i thought so. It sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Mächtiges Spiel!
Looks like you're inside the Tabernacle

I’m curious if the other console is still usable?
Where is this?
That's the organ at Methuen Memorial Music Hall 😀
The biggest pipes are up to 1,000 pounds, sometimes there are 32 feet tall pipes
we are playing coco jambo in our beatiful polish churches. Dont believe me? type: coco jambo on 300 year old organs
Well, it did start life in Germany, after all....
It did, and you can still feel that somewhere 😀
СКАЗОЧНО
Amazing organ.... but still: If it aint Dutch it aint much :)
Naaah, its just a different style - every building style has its pro and cons 😀
@@PaulFey Genau genau that's very much true Paul. And it just so happens that Dutch organs have the least cons and the most pro's of all the styles 😜
