ATTENTION! Read if confused on how the CP is earned. He forgot to mention that the CP doesnt come from cooking or liquor directly its from the byproduct of cooking which is the "Dish with Poorly Prepared Ingredients" you save these up then take them to the NPC at "Alejandro Farm" and turn them in for CP. His video was very well put together just left out that key detail for the new players unaware of "common knowledge" for BDO, If you for some reason cant find the Farm click the dish in inventory then hit "T" to autopath there (:
...but you don't get as much cp experience as he alludes too from "Dish with Poorly Prepared Ingredients." I have 75 workers so I have to make beer, lots of beer as they're all drunks, and I turn in a hundreds upon hundreds of those dishes every week. I don't see the big cp exp jump he's talking about. Honestly, if people are really interested in cp exp they should just do all the repeat quests that give cp exp everyday.
@@SuperVerst idk man i'm 359 cp now, cooking seems good lol. But if you love questing yes you can do repeatable quests that give decent cp. I hate doing quests i'd rather gather/massive cook for my cp.
You get product and byproduct by cooking, rather than doing the same tasks over and over, so why not. If you're really short on cp you can do repeat quests actively and cooking and alchemy passively.
Update: There is a seed vendor in Calpheon named Ahr that sells Grape Seeds, so you either could transfer the seeds you get from gathering grapes or just buy them from her. If you want to grow them in farms.
an alt spends energy but if you dont have high lvl in farming its better to grow things that take up more slots if you farm on your main then its fine to do strawberries
Great video dude. Obviously don't mean this in an insulting way, but the like tired and flat way of describing things helps me process and retain information a lot better than usual. I shall now start growing my grape empire :)
Nice video, question though. How many cooking utensils do go through, or are there better ones? The regular ones give 100 cooks/utensil so are you switching them out as they break or can I find a goo one?
While this method is great, you're far better off gathering logs/rough stone to mass produce advanced cooking utensil. Once you have those it is ridiculously easy to actually cook items you can buy off of the market to get a final product that you can resell for profit.
yes, do it overnight when it comes to grains, i have like 1600 weight, and i'll process go to sleep and when i wake up my guys still processing aha. have like 11k+ flour overnight
ok i get what your saying but what do you use the essence or liquor for after you make them? WAste to not use them for something that makes you money as well?
yes i said that in the video. :) also cost more silver. I think with a 10x3cp farms you can grow 20 grape seeds or 2000+ grapes if twice a day 4000+ grapes or 1.4m-2.8m minimum silvers worth if you buy, in about 10 minutes of pruning/gathering/putting into storage if you do it twice a day. If you do that by an hour. If you make more then 16.8m silver an hour its more cost affective to buy straight up. If you make less as in a new player unless your focus is purely cp which most new players perfer the gear. Farms is a great alternative and can be used for alchemy/cooking/trading.
Nice video! Is the main source of the CP coming from the Dish with Poor Ingredients that is turned in for CP exp? If so, how would crafting essences of liquor compare to crafting something else, such as beer? Or is there more of a strategic reason as to why you had chosen to craft essences of liquor over beer?
u are correct the dish u turn in for cp is the only source of cp when cooking, u wanna do the essence of liq. since its way cheaper 1potato for example gives u with good processing 2-4 flour levening agent u can buy from a vendor same as strawberries in calpheon flour is super easy aswell thats why u can massproduce this like crazy. beer could be viable but costs way more due to the fact that u need 5 potato/wheat/etc instead of 1 flour
I did both great question, The reason for essence of liquor over beer is because it only takes 1 fruit, so cooking on an advance cooking utensil with 900 durability would require 900 fruits. Where as beer takes 4500 Grains on a 900 Advance utensil, so i could make about 3-4 utensils worth of grapes a day where as grain would take longer to aquire.
So is there a higher chance to get "Dish with Poorly Prepared Ingredients" from making Liquor than from making Beer? Or is it the same? Cause so far I've done a lot of beer.
Its the same, getting 900 fruit takes less time then 4500 grain on an advance cooking utensil. Beer isn't bad to do also if you have a lot of materials going.
Yeah agree its a turn off, i play it simply for the the journey of your own progression without p2w gear, also the game would be amazing if it had a 2v2, 3v3's arena where you could play with friends in a ranked setting, and maybe more group content in general. There is a lot i wish bdo would do.
thanks for quick replay :) i just started with bdo ~1 week ago and kinda wanted to try out those life skills. farming is one of those. thanks for video!
NP! take it slow focus on one thing at a time and if you need to write stuff down do that i have alot of stuff wrote down if i forget cause a lot of information in this game. Good luck on your BDO adventure!
took me about a month-2 to go from 250-300, but i had like 1.5 sec cooking by then, but i didn't only cook also for the month-2. so it'll depend on how often you cook and if you already have utensils/mats prepped etc
You can buy apples from a vendor in calpheon , google :apple bdo ;go to bddatabade.com and search the bar :sold by NPC;. This way you dont waste your time gathering NPC stuff, use your gathering energy to gather rough stones or lamb meat.
cost 700 silver per so 70k for 100 strawberries or could just afk a grape seed which takes a minute to plant and cost 3.7k silver and go do other stuff. plus lvling farming is good later down the road for trading. But ya go buy apples, you can create multiple characters to gather stone/logs/grapes. I guess its whatever you wanna spend your silver on not to mention the fruits you get from gathering grapes = alchemy oils = even more silver gained or for elixirs. bddatabase.net/us/recipe/57/ and i mentioned buying the strawberries but i guess you didnt watch the whole video :( feelsbadman.
well i went from like 250-300 with the farm way and it took maybe 1-2 months, but they just came out today on NA with lowering the cp requirement so now it'll be quicker i think new soft cap is 300. But about to do 100k grapes soon :). Incoming 350 cp
Cooking gives you plates which you turn in for cp, silver, milk, beer. The item your cooking is just something that you can plvl your cp on and or can be used in other recipes.
Sry but no no dont waist time on gather graps. Go to pilgrims heaven gather stones or gather blood/meat sell it and buy graps its faster to gather stones there and its way more profitable Yes there are other stuff that make way more money gathering but not telling whats not allready public knowledge
