I mined in Maine from 82 to 96, and I visited 12 different mines. The area where all the mines are has over 1500 different minerals, so you will find something.
My buddy Jeff from Havey is in your video!! AWESOME!! And you were at my friend's Jody & Zolts place sifting for gems too! And you visited Brett's place!
If youre ever in the north east. Lemme know i have a few friends full of knoledge on crystals minerals jewlery making that love sharing and trading knowledge.
@JustinKPrim Since you are interested in visiting rock & gem clubs across the U. S., I can rcommend two, if you come as far south in New England as Connecticut: Bristol Gem & Mineral Club which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 7:00 PM at Beals Senior/Community Center, 240 Stafford Ave., Bristol, CT. and the Lapidary & Mineral Society of Central Connecticut (LMSCC) which meets at Meridan (CT) High School which had its' last meeting for this season, in early June. It will begin the Fall (2024) season on September 23, 2024, at the high school mentioned above which is on Gravel St., Meridan, CT. Both clubs hold lapidary workshops, using both cabbing and faceting machines, for clubmembers at a nature center. If you should be in CT on August I3, 2023, I extend an invitation to you & your team (?) to visit the BG&M Club meeting. I don't know what the club has coming up for a program for that evening, but they are always interesting and informative. Hope we might see you there.

@@JustinKPrim You are welcome.
Will be watching even closer as you get near Indiana. Places to dig are a deep dark secret. Would be cool to meet Milo, oh and you too of course. :-)
We’re going to be in indianapolis for a few days and Hammond as well.
You are sifting all the gold flakes on the ground
