Are you sure that is Salzburg Cathedral ? As a young man I was invited to the organ loft to watch the organist play a short recital. As I remember it there was a 4 manual console with tab stops. I also remember that the loft was quite shallow - no room for the rows of chairs that I see in the video and the console was side on to the organ cases.
John, you have an important question here. It has been AGES since my 1974-1979 sojourn in Austria. I was involved with the Domchor under the late Prof. Anton Dawidowicz as Kapellmesiter and with the late Gerhard Zukriegel as Organist, the latter being a lawyer in "real life". I DO have to admit, I don't know any/all changes made since. Prof. D. was so nice to me and even let me be Organist for a May 1976 Mass. I can attest everybody, at least at the time the Organ had FOUR Manuals. Maybe someone here can enlighten me!?! WOW, was that place ALIVE with reverberation! Having occasionally played at the nearby Franziskanerkirche, I can still hear why so many recordings were made at FK, because the acoustics there were just right and not TOO much.
Ich finde es etwas seltsam, dass der Organist im Salzburger Dom trotz freistehenden Spieltisch mit dem Rücken zum Kirchenschiff sitzt. Weiß vielleicht jemand warum das so ist?

Of course, this is Salzburg. I just visited the Organ half a year ago, and it looked like in the video :D
Es spielt hier an der Salzburger Domorgel, Domorganist Prof. Heribert Metzger.
@@ibindo1 sehr sympathisches Auftreten hat Herr Metzger
I know it is. I got to sing there in 1995 and played the organ one morning. The loft is fairly spacious.

Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht ist es eine rein mechanische Orgel. Wird bestimmt was mit der Traktur zu tun haben:)
👍🙏👏👏👏👏
