She replied to so many hate comments but not to this one.. most youtubers do this and it's so upsetting.. so many of us send tons of love her way but the haters always get more attention.. they shouldn't
callmecristal i think it's cause often time calling out people on their nonsense makes them completely change their comment. like, as soon as she replies they often time either get really apologetic or realize how idiotic it is to just post negative comments for the sake of posting negative comments (and sure, you may be expressing an opinion-and you have a right to do that, but if it's all about being negative or saying something isn't "your taste" when it's obviously hers-what's the point??? i was taught to keep my mouth shut in those scenarios hahaha). Also, I think something youtubers often struggle with is figuring out different ways to express their thankfulness... I've seen people who start to get hate for having "too generic" or "too repetitive/similar" expressions of thank yous, so I think often times they'll just read the comments and be thankful in their heads, if that makes any sense. Doesn't necessarily mean it's the best way to do it, but at least understandable (I hope)

I'm a 30-year-old dentist and I enjoy video games, skateboarding and anime. It makes me happy so I do it! :D it doesn't make me any less mature or responsible or successful. For as long as I can remember being in school I've always had an agenda. Over the years I was kind of doing my own thing with my planner and I really got into keeping super organized and pretty when I started high school. I've watched every video you've done on planners and now that I'm starting college in the fall I feel like my life will be organized thanks to you, Elle. You have taught me everything I know in terms or color coding, stickering, how and when I write things and that makes me really excited. Thank you so much for all the amazing organization tips!!! Ever since my college days, buying a planner every year is something I get so excited about! This one is beautiful! Paper products make my heart happy.
My planner: 8 AM 5 PM die slowly at my temp day job 5 PM 5:30 PM time I'll never get back, spent in traffic driving home 5:30 6 PM feeling guilty about eating dinner 6 PM - 11 PM copious amounts of minecraft, youtube, twitter and a feeling of life going by too quickly. Rinse, repeat 5 days a week. On the weekends - just remove work and driving. A planner would be great though...but I need a life first.

Okay at first when I saw you posting this on Instagram, I thought it was completely unnecessary to go into that much detail with planning and decorating...seemed foreign to me, and even when you uploaded a 32 minute video about your planner, I thought it was ridiculous... But wanted to watch it anyways because I love your videos, been following you for a verryyyy long time and just plain missed you... NOW, after watching the whole thing, I'm in awe!? Was I living under a rock?! This is so fun and great and keeps you organized and I totally understand how this is an outlet and therapeutic to do!! Omg I want this planner now!! And stickers! You could track your period on the monthly spread with those underwear stickers, since you don't use it for anything else and you don't Instagram it :)
And it might be easier for you to see it with the whole month rather than in the weekly spreads since it might come like over a weekend and go into 2 different weeks. And you can just flip back and forth between the monthly spreads to track your cycles :)
Lindsay Hearts Books ***** Or you could even do it on the 2014/2015 tab that shows the entire year! That way you can look in one spot, as opposed to multiple, and see the differences in weeks in your cycle. That's what I do personally. I had to put those 2 pages to use, somehow! :P

I just need something to help organize the chaos and I need something written in black in white (or rainbow and glitter!) that will motivate me to set goals and accomplish them. I love these kind of videos!! I really don't think you need to be ashamed of the "period tracker stickers" because every girl has periods it's not weird, personal I wish yall would talk more about periods. It's a topic no one really talks about but everyone has. I don't know why gurus don't put tampons in their favorite videos because I wanna know what tampons work best and what helps with cramps and stuff like that

Elle this was the first time I've heard about Erin Condren and how people decorate their planners. I have now watched TONNES of videos and I've ordered a planner and stickers online. I'm so so excited for everything to arrive because this kind of thing is right up my street 😃

I love these types of videos. I put it on and cleaned my room and just enjoyed hearing how you plan your week and month. I buy all my planner stuff on the cheap and make my own stuff because I feel like once the week or month is over I will have spent all this money on stuff I won't see anymore once time passes. And I make it on my own because like you said, it's a bit therapeutic and creative and making it myself makes me feel a lot better than having someone else make it. Not to knock anyone who enjoys buying the stuff. Planning is different for everyone and I enjoy seeing what people buy so I get inspired to make my own stuff.

this video came in just in time, I'm researching planners for the upcoming year, i will be starting a new job, god willing, and I have used simple planners before and I too use my planners as to do lists. Can i just say your planner is the prettiest planner i have seen. It's so organized and yet beautiful decorated. Sometimes people decorate it in a manner that makes it messy.... and even though your is really decorated... it's organized.
Welcome to the world of planners. They are a fun way to express yourself. Yes, it can seem "childish" to others but who cares? All that matters is that you enjoy it. My dad use to make fun of me about my planner until he realized it was a stress reliever for me. Now, he actually encourages me to work on it if I'm having a bad day. I have a few planner videos too. ;-)
This really fun. :) I have the same planner and although my stickers are different, it looks just like yours. I am 34 and a mother of a busy Child. I don't buy an expensive planner for her, but she does have one and we sit and plan together. It is a great bonding experience. I do want to say that yes although we are all different you don't have to be "childish" to enjoy fun whimsical things. Elle did say it is sort of creative outlet for her, that's how I feel about it. When I put things down that I may not really want to do, I makes me happy to see this "task" surrounded by beautiful whimsy. oh and I am the furthest from OCD, hence having a fun planner, cause it helps keep me on task when I am otherwise distracted by life. i don't get why people are hating on elle so much. don't watch the video? i'm 21 and i just bought a planner today because this looks like a lot of fun and a good way to track your hydration, sleep, work schedule and whatever! it's not a childish hobby, and i bet behind closed doors half the people who made rude comments have way more childish/strange hobbies.

I'm getting back into a paper planner. I have the Daily Greatness Journal this year which is mainly about goal setting and stuff, but I would LOVE the Life Planner as well - just so expensive! It looks cute but also seems to be pretty time-consuming and unclear... I like to look at the week in my moleskine planner and immediately have a clear overview. And at the same time I don't want to carry such a heavy big planner around :/ but it was fun to watch nonetheless!

I'm so torn. On one hand everything looks SO CUTE, but I just feel like it can turn into a money pit, using all these cute stickers you spent money on, just to turn the page in 7 days and do it all again. Earlier this year I bought a cute blue and white chevron planner from Amazon for like $9, and got some colorful pens and highlighters to decorate with. I told myself if I keep up with it for the rest of the year, I will treat myself to a nicer more expensive planner next year.
You actually gave me some great ideas for the stickers to fill in the whole Morning, Noon, and Evening blocks. Loving the color coordination as well, thanks for sharing. I think I ordered the horizontal layout.

I don't understand why SO many people are hating on her video, there are thousands of other videos on UA-cam that are like this one. Everybody is different and has there own hobbies in skills, just because one person is into baking doesn't mean that you are too. This is what Elle does for fun, this brings her joy. You can't go around telling people to stop doing what they love. Say you like to collect rocks, stamps, ect. and someone tells you that your hobby is "childish" would you stop doing it? Most likely not because it's something YOU love, although other people might not. And maybe she wants to have a sticker that reminds her to do laundry, she might be a forgetful person, or maybe she just ENJOYS it. So many people are hating on Elle because of her video, if you don't like these types of videos then why did you watch it in the first place! Also some women make a living off of making stickers, dashboards, cards, ect. Which goes to show you that there are plenty of people in this world that love this hobby. Just because you don't like her hobby doesn't mean you have to hate on it. Which goes back to, why did you click on this video if you possibly knew that you wouldn't like it? P.S. It's a bit too much for someone like me (too childish, too girly, too OCD). But i like the stickers AROUND 12:20 (not the rest) because it's a good way to keep track of goals.

I love this soo much. I'm a very disorganized person and I tried doing a planner but it felt boring but using stickers may just change the way I feel about using planners! I can't wait to get some stickers for my planner. It seems like a great way to motivate myself to do things and a nice way for a scrapbook style planner to look back on!
I love planning. I tried the Erin Condren planer last year but it never really worked for me. This year I tried the InkWell Press planner and I absolutely love it! Highly recommend that you guys check it out if you're looking for a planner.

this video came in just in time, I'm researching planners for the upcoming year, i will be starting a new job, god willing, and I have used simple planners before and I too use my planners as to do lists.
Can i just say your planner is the prettiest planner i have seen. It's so organized and yet beautiful decorated. Sometimes people decorate it in a manner that makes it messy.... and even though your is really decorated... it's organized.
Welcome to the world of planners. They are a fun way to express yourself. Yes, it can seem "childish" to others but who cares? All that matters is that you enjoy it.
My dad use to make fun of me about my planner until he realized it was a stress reliever for me. Now, he actually encourages me to work on it if I'm having a bad day. I have a few planner videos too. ;-)
This really fun. :) I have the same planner and although my stickers are different, it looks just like yours. I am 34 and a mother of a busy Child. I don't buy an expensive planner for her, but she does have one and we sit and plan together. It is a great bonding experience. I do want to say that yes although we are all different you don't have to be "childish" to enjoy fun whimsical things. Elle did say it is sort of creative outlet for her, that's how I feel about it. When I put things down that I may not really want to do, I makes me happy to see this "task" surrounded by beautiful whimsy. oh and I am the furthest from OCD, hence having a fun planner, cause it helps keep me on task when I am otherwise distracted by life. i don't get why people are hating on elle so much. don't watch the video? i'm 21 and i just bought a planner today because this looks like a lot of fun and a good way to track your hydration, sleep, work schedule and whatever! it's not a childish hobby, and i bet behind closed doors half the people who made rude comments have way more childish/strange hobbies.

I'm getting back into a paper planner. I have the Daily Greatness Journal this year which is mainly about goal setting and stuff, but I would LOVE the Life Planner as well - just so expensive! I'm such an organised person and seeing your stickers and everything all laid out just made my heart happy :)
It looks cute but also seems to be pretty time-consuming and unclear... I like to look at the week in my moleskine planner and immediately have a clear overview. And at the same time I don't want to carry such a heavy big planner around :/ but it was fun to watch nonetheless!

I'm so torn. On one hand everything looks SO CUTE, but I just feel like it can turn into a money pit, using all these cute stickers you spent money on, just to turn the page in 7 days and do it all again. Earlier this year I bought a cute blue and white chevron planner from Amazon for like $9, and got some colorful pens and highlighters to decorate with. I told myself if I keep up with it for the rest of the year, I will treat myself to a nicer more expensive planner next year.
You actually gave me some great ideas for the stickers to fill in the whole Morning, Noon, and Evening blocks. Loving the color coordination as well, thanks for sharing. I think I ordered the horizontal layout.

Wow wow wow. Watching this makes me realise how laid back and relaxed I am. I can think of nothing more stressful than having a planner and using it for every little thing in the day but I completely understand how other people need it. Each to their own :)

The planner is beautiful but I'm not a busy person at all so I wouldn't have anything to plan. If anything my planner would be more of a TV Schedule...Day 1: Watch The Vampire Diaries/ Day 2: Watch The Originals/ Day 3: Watch Catfish on MTV/ Day 4: Watch Party Down South/ Day 5: Watch Preachers Daughters lol xx
I don't understand why SO many people are hating on her video, there are thousands of other videos on UA-cam that are like this one. Everybody is different and has there own hobbies in skills, just because one person is into baking doesn't mean that you are too. This is what Elle does for fun, this brings her joy. You can't go around telling people to stop doing what they love. Say you like to collect rocks, stamps, ect. and someone tells you that your hobby is "childish" would you stop doing it? Most likely not because it's something YOU love, although other people might not. And maybe she wants to have a sticker that reminds her to do laundry, she might be a forgetful person, or maybe she just ENJOYS it. So many people are hating on Elle because of her video, if you don't like these types of videos then why did you watch it in the first place! Also some women make a living off of making stickers, dashboards, cards, ect. Which goes to show you that there are plenty of people in this world that love this hobby. Just because you don't like her hobby doesn't mean you have to hate on it. Which goes back to, why did you click on this video if you possibly knew that you wouldn't like it?
P.S. These are my thoughts I'm not saying people don't have a right to their opinion I'm just saying - if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.

I love this soo much. I'm a very disorganized person and I tried doing a planner but it felt boring but using stickers may just change the way I feel about using planners! I can't wait to get some stickers for my planner. It seems like a great way to motivate myself to do things and a nice way for a scrapbook style planner to look back on!

I love planning. I tried the Erin Condren planer last year but it never really worked for me. This year I tried the InkWell Press planner and I absolutely love it! Highly recommend that you guys check it out if you're looking for a planner.

Just FYI, I have no problem with you including period tracking in your planner and posting the spread on Instagram. Most of your followers probably get periods, so I don't see why they would be offended. I understand if it's something you want to keep private, but don't leave something out of your planner for our sakes.
