2 Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.
    2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV
20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
    Psalm 145:13 NIV
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
    Let’s Talk:
    1. Can you share a time when you experienced a “divine detour” in your life? How did you see God’s hand in it?
    2. How can understanding God’s higher perspective change the way we view our current struggles? What are practical ways we can develop patience as we wait for God’s timing?
    3. How does knowing that God has a purpose for everything encourage you in difficult times?
Which of God’s promises are you holding onto right now, and how does it impact your daily life?
    Message Text: James 1:5-8 NIV
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
