Noel Fielding camoflaging himself as a banana in the caravan will forever be my favourite
Theres an homage in this compilation
Can't like its on 999 likes
Forever
My favorite part is seeing the odd things/costumes that people just have in their homes. Makes me happy:P
I kept wondering why so many people have AstroTurf
One of the worst videos I’ve ever watched
@wowalinbie I mean... yes? Hometasking is real people, tho, yes Taskmaster would choose only the best ones.
Everyone: follows instructions and films video in landscape mode.
Taskmaster: films vertical.
I'm guessing that's an intentional thing to make it obvious Greg is at home and doing the social distancing thing etc, cuz otherwise he's sitting there in a suit and landscape might make it look like he's in a studio or on a set, etc.
Besides, 9th place didn't do landscape either but they still got 9th
@@Dimencia Ah yes, the background at 5:58 definitely looks like a studio/set, and not an everyday home.
The amount of the kids joining in so cool, great to see that. Hometasking is keeping so many people entertained during these troubling times. Keep up the great work everyone 😊
I wish they'd be a bit more selective with the kids clips though. Kinda feels like they're leaning on kids cute factor a bit too heavily...
Counterpoint nothing wrong with making a kid's day by showing their clip besides the kids were actually mostly very good too. Brings families together you know?
The majority of the clips were using kids to get a better chance of making it in. I highly doubt the 5-year-olds know what taskmaster is.
@@taccm386 did you not watch TV when you were young? I can definitely remember being obsessed with documentaries I didn't understand by the time I was 5, so I'm pretty sure a fun show like taskmaster is easy to like for young kids.
@@taccm386 Except that these home tasks are literally just a way to keep busy in a fun way. And having kids occupied and being able to do something creative that they can join in on seems pretty much in line for the premise of this concept. Sure the parents could probably do everything themselves and do a bit of a more convincing job on a lot of them. But for most people sending in clips it seems more about having something fun to do and participating. And tbh, I'm pretty sure that even a 2 year old would enjoy being creative with their parents, even if they probably won't have the most spectacular ideas, so them being in the clips just doesn't seem something to be butthurt about to me.
The photo frame one at 2:35 was really impressive.
That was my favorite too! :D
That one, or the one at 5:11 were two that got me. I'm guessing the 'picture frame' camouflage was done too much, and that's why they didn't win, but some of them were pulled off really well. Especially 5:11 cause it was right in my face, and I wasn't sure which one was fake at first. The grey cloth behind her really helped sell it.
I agree. I think that the frame is propped up might be the best hint at 2:36. I mean, the somewhat poor video quality definitely helps her. But even so, definitely one of my favorites.
And so far this is also my favorite HomeTask video in general. Though I only watched 1-4 so far.
Ginger grape child and the camouflaged car got me the most
Sheeps bottom got me. Paused for every video so I could guess. Absolutely couldnt spot her. 😆😆
Don't forget to film in landscape mode, Greg. And for heaven's sake, put some trousers on! 😂
Hey! Working from home means never having to say "I'm wearing trousers"
Yes, if only we could see the sides of his living room.
The level of time and effort y'all put in is astounding. Taskmaster fans are the best fans. Send you all love and best wishes from California, USA!
Do you not have taskmaster on an app over the pond
Nope, not that I've seen. I stumbled upon clips on UA-cam and have watched as much as I can but much of it is completely unavailable legally to us Americans. Still, I'm completely in love with the show and the format and all of the fans!
@@pfelon can't you get things like easterners and soaps like that though
@@pfelon I believe you can watch it on UKTV Play with ads.
@@kamma333444 Not in the USA unfortunately.
5:12 damn that's impressive!
The far left is totally someone too right? That was so confusing.
@@emz2969 If it's someone, then he's missing the bottom part of his body.
5:49 was a pretty clever way to hide a body shape, and the dog at 1:53 is amazing...
But I didn't expect the bloody car at all!
05:12 - How was this one not even top ten, it's incredibly done. I couldn't see it even with the video paused!
I saw her move the photo frame
@@ShonCon21 Suuuure you did. Maybe on your 10th re-watch.
The light makes it really obvious that the frame is moving.
I'm guessing Rhod Gilbert is hiding somewhere behind Greg.
Good idea for a coronavirus sitcom - imagine if the lockdown had happened while Rhod was in Greg’s wardrobe...
Oh, didn't you see Jon Richardson next to the lampshade? It's hard to miss, i guess: 07:03
@@kisbie
Greg still needs to retaliate
Don't forget about social distancing! He's SIX FEET behind Greg, thank you very much
He's quarantined himself in Greg's closet and is not coming out for the next few months
1:52 that fluffball was the best!
the best by far..
A suggestion for the format: maybe each of the honorable mentions could follow Greg’s comment on them, or there could be an image while Greg is talking so it’s easier to remember when we watch the actual video
Edit:
Another suggestion for the format: sixteen by nine, G R E G
Yes, Alex, please grovel to Greg and ask him to do 16:9, just like you do!
Andreas Østergård yes I think the first suggestion would be better
Good idea putting the image out while Greg doing the honourable mentions, especially since Greg will only film in portrait anyway
But his mentions are the top 10... I mean. Can you not wait 30 seconds?
Daplin1 yeah but it would be 10 time’s better to just have them playing as he reads them out, and would shorten the video which is always good.
My favourite ones were the obvious ones, like the big chicken costume, the big penguin the snooker table. They were so funny!
What Greg said. The quality is just unbelievable!
People are so creative, all of them are just simply amazing
I think the fine line between camouflage and hiding definitely gets messed with a little, but fantastic work all around. Great face painters and costume designers, I enjoyed all the camera perspective work a lot, but...mamouflaging a bloody car, that is some paramilitary shit right there.
That one was really good!
that one was awesome right, had no clue that a car would come out of the bushes.
What's up with this one? I can see them hiding in the bush the- *oh*
1:01 TREE WIZAAAAARRRRDDD!!!
+
Lol!!!
The missing children milk carton one I really did not see coming, bravo!
4:33 My brother is the mud boi! We finally made it in haha
Congratulations!
Well done
By far my favorite one, fantastic.
Thanks guys! He was very cold and muddy so we're glad he made it haha
It was really impressive. True camouflage!
This honestly brightest my mood everytime, and I look forward to more hometasking! Lost of love to Alex and Greg - you're incredible!!
Why would you be dishonest?
@@swanningabout dishonest? Dishonest about what, might I ask?
The shower curtain made me laugh out loud. I loved that run at the end hahahaha!!
Karate Kid! But different.
Agree greggerz, best so far. Good job everyone! My favourite was the lady at 5:13, I loved her look of utter relief
Alex: Make sure you film landscape.
Greg: 📱📱📱📱💅
Gregg mistaking "everything is awesome" for "everything is alright" is adorable and I love it. Yeah, everything is alright!
Kate Holmes no the last entry made the mistake Greg just followed suit
@@catch2297 nah they didn't did you watch it???
What is this witchcraft? First time I heard the entry singing "Everything is alright"
Then I rewatched it and it was "Everything is awesome"
@@Z0mbieAnt Another yanny vs laurel?
@@Z0mbieAnt Same! I thought it was wrong on purpose, like they downgraded awesome to alright considering the circumstances. But now I heard awesome (though my hearing isn't great anyway).
I love the mix of people doing really smart, highly skilled camo and people just going for the funniest submission possible. It's wonderful to see both side by side!
Love the dog at 1:54
Wow! Love the yarn face
It's so good! (and at 2:47 my future self)
Easily the best one!!
"Everything is alright. Everything is just okay when you're part of a team" XD
The woman at 5:14 was impressive as hell.
1:53 the dog is the best one 😂
You know you've made it when you've forced Greg Davies to do a spit take.
The one with the dog blending into the carpet got me, some of them were more...creepy?
This was definitely the best one so far. Loved it! And since I didn't many shoutouts to some of my faves: 1:06 the tree swing! so cute! reminds me of old children's shows, 3:24 literally didn't see them, 3:28 looks like a lot of work went into it, 3:48 pillowcase girl, 4:02 stuffed animal pile (totally didn't see the second person), 4:36 mud - sheer dedication, 5:42 cow person having a hell of a lot of fun!
0:56
that is a little bit terrifying.
I didn't see the person hidden in the Microwave one. Was just a person using a microwave.
3:50 blew my mind
This one was by far the funniest to watch! I love them all
3:55 was hilarious, was not expecting the full people to be just sat there lol!
The kids hiding around the room especially teal wall 👏👏👏👏
These Taskmaster challenges are brilliant! It's really good of you to make something positive for people to focus on. It's especially nice to see all ages involved. I really think that you all are doing a great service here. Please keep it up! Love from Canada 🇨🇦
:) Great comm. Love from us here in the UK to you guys in Canada
If you did one - well done they were all really clever!
Shout out that girl hidig in 2 pillow cases as pillow!
Thats an upgrade on under the duvet hide and seek back in my day.
Some really funny one too. My personal favourite is the guy hiding with all the cows in the farm barn having a good time.
Was a big fan of the show, enjoyed each and every celeb/series I've been able to watch here in Canada. Enjoyed Alex from the first time I saw him (and the Horne Section) on Cats Does Countdown. THIS demonstrates what a kind and caring person he is.. keeping people smiling and engaged during what might turn out to be the most difficult time we see in our generation. Thank you to Alex, Greg and the entire TM team and fans. Stay safe and be kind to each other.
These are so fun to watch! It is amazing to see the creativity that each family puts into their task. I am sure it makes for a fun day at home!
this music is sending me, I need this on every playlist. especially the workout playlist.
the team behind this show are very good people. thank you for doing this, thank you to every fan who submitted.
I was really hoping for some bored vet in the middle of the virginia woods film himself in a Gillie suit crawl out of the grass like a ghost
We had my son in his ghillie suit jump out of the bushes and scare my daughter. It did not make the cut. Or I somehow messed up with the hashtag.
0:58 ah yes, the old banana trick.
Come on people, make this viral!
It's amazing the amount of work, thought and utter crazy ideas that come into these videos.
Well done all of you! Keep them coming.
The milk carton at 4:54 looks perfect. Lots of great ones in this.
That one with the bricks painted on was my favourite! Moving the camera like they were invisible at first 😂🤣
5:11 was SO GOOD. I only thought something was awry because of her facial expression lol
What about the landscape, GREG?
Don't taunt him, he's just going to rotate his phone and lay on his side so he's still in portrait. He is that kind of dude.
How tempting would that be
Lmfaoooo that guy at 3:34! Who has a detached microwave handle
Is NO ONE going to point out the perfection that “it’s cold” “AH HA!” At 3:31 is?
Also really loved 1:17
these videos are one of the few things I always excitedly look forward to, when every day becomes this monotonous routine
I think the one in first place was trying to say "everything is awesome" which is from the Lego Movie
The creativity is amazing. 5:43 is my favourite (even now I've watched the top 10 ones too).
Genuinely the most wholesome entertainment I've seen on UA-cam in quite a while. Thank you, Taskmaster
Such creativity restores the faith in the humanity. Fascinating!
I like how Greg keeps saying he can't mention all of them. What is he so busy with?
Watching them all, for one thing.
takes work hunting for trousers in this lockdown innit
"It's only a matter of perspective"
I bloody love this ❤️ def best one 👏🏻 Especially little buzz lightyear 💚 People are so clever x x
Thanks you guys for the entertainment, and providing the nation with something to do. We've been mainlining old episodes lately, love your work.
Task for Greg: Film horizontally, you have all year, your time starts.... NOW!
Such a great idea guys. Keep on keeping on you mad lads.
Out of everyone doing vids for people at home, you all really have the right idea by getting people involved, giving them something else to think about and do, alone or with their families, and then giving that content to the world to see. Cheers from the USA!
Some of these I had to rewatch hahah brilliant!! This series is so uplifting 😊
BenBackflip still in the lead with 14, followed by four people with 10 apiece.
this is hilarious! thanks to all those people who made my day so much better. You are amazing!
the dog on the carpet was invisible, the egg 1 had me loling harder than it should've.
entertaining tasks, fun participation, keep em coming!
These are some awesome examples of makeup, costume design, forced perspective and overall ingenuity and creativity.
This is exactly what we all need right now. Everyone is so creative! I applaud you all
These do keep getting better!
I love the dog dressed as a sunflower at 2:53 !
Best task yet by far!! So much creativity, several surprises, laughed out loud many times.
You all are amazing! This was definitely the best one yet!
Grand efforts!! Thanks for the smiles from Tasmania. 😀
I do love that song in the Lego Movie "Everything is alri-i-ight"
Well done everyone. Outstanding efforts!!
Exactly! :)
I really wanted to participate in these but my partner and I split when it started and I've been too depressed to try. But watching y'all really lifts my spirits. Thank you~
Just give them a go if you feel like it, you don't need anyone to have fun :)
This is such a good idea. It’s great watching people be creative, and having fun! ❤️
Genuinely impressed by a lot of these and the rest are all hilarious.
Great task and terrific responses. You guys are truly magnificent!
Blown away by how clever people are! Fab!
I love how a lot of people play with perspective. Very cool.
This is the best thing that has come out of this quarantine always fun to see how creative people arr
Camouflage yourself as Greg Davies then reveal yourself as Rik Mayall or Alex Horne as Kenny Everett har har har dead funny
So good - that was heaps of fun to watch. Well done everybody!
I love these so much, my sister and I have been having a blast!!! 🐬🐬🐬
3:02 I found this one the most hilarious!
This was a really good one. Great job everyone who sent something in!
This one was pretty great. Some very impressive videos
lol Greg you silly man. It's "Everything is Awesome!"
Absolutely Brilliant! Well done to everyone, you are all winners!
I'm not creative enough to participate, but wow, you people are amazing!
Loved the little sheep girl! 😁
This is so amazing, I love it
For a class assignment, we had to do this.. it was actually quite funny!
Awesome. All winners 👏👏👏👏👏👏
You guys are great, thank you so much for these!
