Take it easy guys... it depends on the buyer and the place, for example, im now in Middle East, and I decided to go for the 5.7 for many reasons, first, the dealer here insists that the 6.4 is a high performance engine thus it must be serviced every 3 k miles otherwise you void your warranty while the 5.7 service intervals are at 6k miles, i drive long distance to work and this will be a good choice to drive a fun car with less expenses, i have 2 kids so im not into 0 to 60 times, i want a car that puts a smile on my face, so on the long run this will be more reasonable, for example the brake pads on my car cost around 180$ here, while the brembos will cost over 500$

i got a 16 rt 5.7 with borla cat back and kn cold air..and let me tell you these cars change with those mods. save your money by a 5.7 and build it up. you never gonna need all that power.

These new 5.7 daytonas are way over priced imo. Went to the dealership to test drive a scatpack the other day and seen a 5.7 Daytona for 45k. It was parked next to a 2017 scatpack that was 44k. Which one you think imma buy 🤔? (Come on dodge smh)
CJ Poosta bc the extra options(driver confidence, 8.4nav, leather seats, etc.. etc) that go with it jacks the price up . you can get a new SP for a better price with more hp...unless you get 392 Daytona then that a different story lol

IDK if you knew this all 2017 charger/challengers have an active exhaust and are loud as fug like that now. it actually opens and closes depending on throttle input. and it always open on cold starts

Robert Marino yeah there is no way a 14 could. Didnt have the 8 speed auto and probably not the road and track package. I installed the scat pack one package that boost the power up about 20 hp. No lie i can keep up with the scat but no way could i beat it.
I wonder if the ride height in the "5.7" differ from the "6.4" as far as the ground clearance. It seems as if the "5.7" sits higher but it would be nice if someone could clarify this.!?

Goes no where near the 6.4. The 5.7 is closer to the 3.6 as far as speed than it is to the 6.4. Trust me I had an RT and traded it for a 5.0 and the 5.0 is tons faster than the RT so I know the 6.4 is much faster.

Daytona will be worth more in the long run. Scat packs are not limited or just yearly production cars. Daytona will be a 1-2 year run and there will be less of them = people will pay more because they are more rare.
Concepts that's fine it can be worth more but that's if you plan on selling it which I wouldn't with a scat pack. Overall my point is best bang for your buck would be scat pack.

LamboDEB the Harmon is better but for the money the Beats is okay... you can go aftermarket a lot cheaper than what you would pay for the SRT package to get the Harmon and the aftermarket will still be better than the Harmon... you're going to spend $50-53k for the SRT just to get the Harmon... the RT or scat pack will run $38-43k respectively with Beats... you can dump $1-2.5k in a system and still have a better system than the Harmon and a lot cheaper. $2500 will buy one hell of a sound system and probably get you DVD in the head rest if you shop wisely

All of the 5.7 hemi cars come with the active exhaust for 2017. I just had a rental R/T with only 5 miles on it & it has the same exhaust on it.

I had a '14 Charger R/T and now have a '17 Charger Scat Pack and there is no way it would have kept up with the SP.
