Ria I love ❤️ watching your videos. I was born in Trinidad but only lived there for 12 years. I have a great appreciation for my culture and I love the food. Your channel has taught me how to make some delicious Trinidadian dishes. My family has also enjoyed eating what I have prepared.
Thank you for acknowledging my comment. ❤️I think you’re doing an amazing job on your UA-cam channel. I am going to try your Caribbean twist on turkey. I’ve never made a turkey before. I have tried your chowmein and fried rice and stewed pork. My family loved 🥰 it. I love cooking but it’s nice to know how to make some good home cooked meals. That’s how I grew up. There’s nothing as great as having a home cooked meal. I’ve also made my green seasoning from your channel. Thank you Ria. From Ria ❤️
Oh my gosh! Just looking at this dhal and bhagie has my mouth watering. So happy that you are making these awesome dishes and keeping the traditional ones alive, for the younger generations, because of people like you, cooking these delicious dishes! I am a grandmother and remembers my grandmother cooking these dishes like you. I am teaching my granddaughters to cook now as well, the way I learnt and remembers! Thankyou so much for sharing these recipes and keeping the traditions alive. ❤🙏

I would never put the entire frying pay in the fall pot. Never saw any such thing before. That frying pan with lots of oil, geerah, and garlic cooking on the stove you just put it in the dhall pot. OMG.

Hi. Ria I noticed Trinidad cooking are very similar to Indian cooking. Awsome
That's because Indians were taken there as labourers many years ago, so the food has a lot of similarity to Indian/South Asian cuisines.

Stop using your knife on a marble or granite cutting bird or surface. It fills and damage your knives if they are of a decent quality.
