Well yes but a little more updated. I personally really love happy hardcore from around 2007. Like for me 2007-2013 ish was prime for me. I also prefer UK hardcore. So idk if I could just get more of that live in my life I would freak out.

My mam used to go to New Monkey and Wigan Pier and I would often see clips of her on the DVDs they used to make at New Monkey when they had the camera going all through the venue throughout the whole night and it looked so good man, even if I wasn’t really /too/ big a fan of the MC and moreso just liked the backing tracks, I’d have still loved to experience it. I am so jealous! I’m 24 now so if only I’d been born even 10 years earlier. 🥲

Yeah. Even though people like Darren Styles do still produce "UK Hardcore", it doesn't have the same sound. It ends up just sounding more like "stereotypical EDM but 160-180 bpm and with slightly bassier kicks" like this: ua-cam.com/video/srd6rawOlGo/v-deo.html But nothing close to the huge thumping pounding kicks. Even the synths of modern UK hardcore are pretty much what you'd probably hear in a big room house track.
