Absolute chills/tears!!! Thank goodness Caleb was there so that Amy didn't have to leave Lou alone to get help! So many hero shots! Caleb leading the way for the ambulance...Jessica/Lisa/Katie racing to get to Lou.... And then there's Jack & Tim walking into an empty house (crying just thinking about it). Seriously can't wait for this episode!!!! (Team Caleb all the way but looking forward to the rest of this too!)
I love all these characters! Each of them is a strong character. I have to say top 2 for me are Caleb and Amy. Caleb is just a great guy and great friend to Amy’s fam. He is also great with her daughter. Amy is just a powerful, inspiring character over all. Even when I was a kid, reading the books, I loved her character and wanted to be her.
I haven't read the books, but I agree, Amy is a great character and so was Ty. Caleb is really starting to come into his own. He is starting to show more maturity and he is very supportive to Amy as a friend. I like seeing that in him.
@@trezz_placehe is so great with Lyndy as well. Whenever he is at heartland he looks out for her a bit. Telling her stories of Ty and stuff. Loved that scene.
Warning spoiler ahead: We know she’s going to be okay because there is a scene of her smiling with Peter at the open house (I think) in the S18 trailer. She looks great in that scene
Very sad, I hope Lou will be okay. It looked like she just injuried her leg when the horse fell on her. I did not see her hit her head. Hopefully, her head injury isn't too bad.
Ah! Can’t wait! 🤯 and Caleb was great but I still don’t think he and Amy belong together. This doesn’t change anything for me regarding their relationship.
Just finished watching this episode, it was everything I wanted and more. Well I do want more. PLEASE PLEASE TELL US THERE'S GOING TO BE A SEASON 19!!!!!
@trezz_place its just a show even though I cried I know it's a script the out come has nothing to do with God. The writers will most likely let her be ok
@YasminSecgin This episode is on Sunday on CBC Gem, but won't be released in the US until around April or May on Up Faith and Family. Netflix, probably not until sometime in the year 2026.
Nathans feelings for Amy , first and foremost must be what she wants even if his love for her doesn't tick all the boxes. This was the same for Ty. Caleb loves Amy and wants her even though she has told him she loves him as a friend only. Remember the Prince who felt his love for Amy would over ride her feelings for Ty. Jessica dismissed her friend Ezra when he tried to come between Jessica and Tim even after she made clear to Ezra her feelings for Tim. I hope Amy can step up like Jessica did. If he can't be the friend who is happy she has found someone she loves and wants to be with, then they no longer have a friendship.
Hopefully, it won't come to that. If Caleb loves Amy, he won't stand in her way. He will support her because that is what friends do. She would do for him if the shoe was on the other foot.
Hopefully this is just like the beginning scene it goes by quickly I am tired of hearing about Lou why is all the sudden Caleb becoming the hero he's not husband material he's not father material I mean he's a good friend and that's about it we better get some good scenes with Nathan and Amy and not at the very end of the episode eater
Sorry but i do think that Caleb would beca perfect Father and he cares for Amy and Lyndy both. It was not his fault that both his marriges did not work out. So maybe its his turn to be Amy’s protector and help her like Ty Did.
Always in Vancouver - work and living his unannounced "bachelor" life whilst also coming home for the "ex-wife + re-committed partner friends+benefits" soiree . From the time he moved to Vancouver for work, it was always a sign that work was his priority despite having a child. Poor Katie has only ever had mom and dad under the one roof for her first year of life, after that, it's been FIFO of both parents.
Question. Why is Caleb playing at being a "Hero" to the Fleming / Bartlett / Morris / Borden Family while at the same time having abandoned being a "Hero Dad" to his own son? Who is replacing Caleb as the "Hero" for his own son when his son gets injured? Sorry, I guess I think that's where Caleb should be, close to and protecting his Father responsibility and not riding around being a "GPS" for Ambulances going after Lou. Oh, BTW, Lou was the married wife he once kissed because he thought she "needed it" from another man not her husband and then punched the real husband to the ground with a cowards sucker punch. Caleb deserves Ashley, not Amy. Those 2, Caleb and Ashley, need another 10 years together to mature out of their immaturety.
Oh here comes the Karen🤡 So he can’t be a dad and help his friends out at the same time? You moralists who love to judge as if this is real life and these characters are real people. You sound very bitter. Why?
Oh you’re MAGA👀🥴🫣 Of course you are. Never understood how great shows like Heartland can attract people like you who voted for a twice convicted narcissistic felon as president🤢
It's a tv show. These aren't real people. Ask the writers why Caleb is there. They would have the answers. Perhaps the writers have him there because the fans want him involved in Heartland, and because it adds drama and plot twists with Amy. We get it. You don't like Caleb. It's for entertainment purposes only, no need to take it so seriously and make it personal.
You do realize he doesn't have full custody of Carson, yes? He literally has to let Cass have time with him?? Is he not allowed a life on his days off to go see friends when his son is with his mother? Should he just stay home alone and miserable? Please. He's on good terms with Carson now and has his life back on track. It was a lot of big changes early last season and Carson was struggling with that. Who wouldn't? But sounds like things are good now and Caleb just this episode was talking about working with him on school projects and stuff. Caleb literally moved away from all his friends, his job, and started a whole new career so that he COULD be close to his son. Is he not allowed a vacation once in awhile when he can't be with him? After expressing how important it is to him to be in his son's life? As for his exes, they were both a piece of work and he deserves better. As for stupid decisions in his 20s....if the characters involved are over it and on good terms with him, maybe it's time to let it go too, huh? He's matured a ton, especially in recent years and has an amazing bond with Amy as well as her family. Every time she describes what she wants Nathan to be but isn't, she's basically describing Caleb and probably misses him a lot more than she's willing to admit. I'm still hoping Cass ends up moving a lot closer (maybe she gets remarried or something) and then it's a non-issue cause I'm sick of people using Carson as an excuse when Peter literally did the same thing - back and forth, AWAY FROM HIS KIDS - and people somehow forgave him. Caleb's a good guy and is stepping up, moreso than we've seen from a lot of characters. Cut him some slack!
They actually present him as a father who made a mistake and then pulled it together and fought for his son. I don’t know where you getting that he abandoned his son from unless you missed episodes
Well glad to see that Nathan tells Amy he loves her and the KISS finally happened BUT I didnt care for the amount of screen time that Michelle Morgan had the entire season. It was annoying to have her make nice after being thrown off horse. And now Tracy Nathan's older sister enters the scene after Nate Sr. goes to a home. Ugh Heartland please dont try to be Yellowstone.....Glad Ashley is back, I remember Ashley's character was in law school when she departed the show so perhaps she opens a law firm in Hudson and fights the POA for Nathen and Nate Sr. ? I just could of used a lot more of Nathan and Amy screen time 🙂But Stetson leaving Amy stranded so she has to grab a horse ride back from Nathan was ADORABLE!
@@deans178 There are a bunch of Heartland Facebook groups. Everyone there seems to LOVE Nathan and Amy paired up. I was surprised to see the people stuck on Ty still after all these years. People need to move on LOL
It’s not that we are stuck on Ty. I’m in the US and I just watched it. All ends well, everything is as it should be. Amy and Nathan say I love you to each other and kiss as the sunsets on the pond. If this is the last show I’m fine with the way it ends. And if it gets another season that will be great too. A little spice called Tracy? I like the history, the little mysteries, the heart and common cents of the show.
This season's Heartland is soooo good and gets back to the essence of what Heartland used to be and has gone beyond!!! So glad they left the wokism and superficial soap opera style behind. And Nathan really fits! I like him better than Ty.
Caleb is such a great guy and so beloved by the family, and he is perfect for Amy and he loves her whole heartedly and is always there for her when she needs him! Far better man for her than that womanizing Nathan who thinks no strings attached have his own cake and eat it too is the way to be! The writers need to stop teasing around this love triangle and go ahead and reconnect Caleb with Amy again and let them start their new chapters in their lives together and build their new love story together with Lindy and Carson as step siblings! Tye would certainly trust his best friend far more to be with his wife than that no strings attached Playboy Nathan Price!!
Agreed. Let Amy and Caleb have a real chance. I believe he would be perfect for her and help her cement Tys memory..he's Lyndys godfather as well. He is just as beloved as Ty was and has his own history with Amy and the family that is equally strong
