Mother Earth is a short film featuring British Columbia's First Nations and the local mountain biking community. Narrated by Daniel Wells, a member of Lil’wat First Nation, the film is talking about the deep connection both groups have with nature and the necessity to listen and protect their environment. From open meadows to ancient forests, we discover stunning landscapes that British Columbia has to offer through the riding of professional rider William Robert.

Alex Wells is x3 times world champion hoop dancer.
Jenice Wells, Daniel's wife, is also performing Women's traditional dancing.
They perform Fancy, Traditional and Hoop dancing all around the world.
They are music artists as well. They composed and performed the music from this film. From open meadows to ancient forests, we discover some stunning landscapes from where they are from.

This is my favorite mountain biking video of all time. The cinematography is fantastic, and I routinely watch this video because I feel compelled to watch it: it’s so powerful. I wish this content got a bit more recognition-it’s more than deserved.

Amazing panning shots. I always feel different when coming back from a hike, trail run, camping, or bike ride. Especially when I take the time to take a deep breathe in and thank the good Lord for the air in my lungs. Great story man, great work with the Native people and giving them a voice.

As a child of nature who has a strong connection and love for our mother. Who is a primal human, born into the wrong time of history. Who struggles with the battles of making the need of nature and existing in the world of today coexistence. I thank you for this. Thank you for reminding me where my true sanctuary is. Where I find that balance for the heart, mind, and soul. It is easy to forget the simple, yet powerful energy our mother provides without fail, in this crazy hyper, surreal, sensory overloaded, connected, world we are living in.
