Just went thru about a dozen Lifestraw Go videos from many of the major backpackers, survivalists, and bushcrafters, and it's this one with its real travel scenario that stands out to me as best. Thank you for your concise and intuitive info, I am sold on this product and only wish they would create a single-wall titanium version so that just the cup part could also be boiled at camp, cooled, before the working straw part is screwed on to drink, making the water even safer and perhaps taxing the filter even less. Love the product regardless. Will purchase this month.

That's a great idea for regular travel. Hotel tap water can be so iffy and I hate having to rely on buying bottled water all the time when I'm away from home.
Some hotels have actually started putting in filtered water taps near the ice machines but this way, you’re always guaranteed good water!
Question. Weill the filter, filter out some added ingredients that i supplement into my water? like if i want to add natural sea salt, lemon and magnesium?
That’s a great question. I know that it is generally designed for plain water as other liquids can contain ingredients that could clog it. But I do know that it doesn’t filter out salt.
