I have a big question I bought some whips but separate so one whip has red and black and the other one another red and black (2leads) so my question is do I buy a 14 gauge wire from nil Ight harness or a 16 gauge wire or does it matter ????
14ga would be ideal. Since they are different whips and not a pair together, they might not run insync. So the patterns won't match, unless you just run solid colors.

How are you running a second switch on that harness? Is there a harness kit with one power source and two separate switch/ outputs?
1 power wire goes to both whips. That's how they run insync

Why not hook up to key switch so that they lose power when not being used saves battery
why not just have the 30's in the hauler and when you need to swap you put them on and take off before putting back in?
That's probably the route I go. But I'm lazy and that doesn't sound fun lol But if I have to, I probably will do that.
