Excellent review. You deserve to be viewed more. Also saw your S5 review. Perfect diagram showing the difference between the BMW & Audi engine/transmission weight distribution
Thank you for this review. It was informative and detailed. I have two questions, please help. 1. I'm worry that the convertible top would fail at some point, do you think its rigid enough to last a while. I'm getting a used 2015 2. Do you think I can use this car as a daily driver car?
Daniel Helc All cars with proximity keys have a transponder and induction coil somewhere to power the remote for starting. Some cars you pop the key in the slot (most European cars) and some you place the key over an area on the steering column or dashboard as you press the key. The owner's manual will have more detail on that.
Great videos. I would just like to give you a recommendation, when you say BMW was not the first to implement the mechanism for the trunk - can you please include which manufacture was?
Alex on Autos Sorry I may not have stated the question properly, I meant the system where it raises the roof for easy access storage. Who was the first to implement that? Thank you in advance.
+Alex on Autos , i tested a couple of last year c70 with low miles, black/vanilla and other was Burgundy/red . Needs Polestar tune and a rear diffuser and front corner aero splitters
Thank you Alex for accepting the tablet style displays. You are indeed correct how people lambaste car company for the tablet look but the tablet look really does mitigate the bulkiness that came with the double bank binnacle look.
Alex I've got a few questions for you. 1. Are convertibles practical for like family? 2. Is this the most spacious back seat in a coupe? 3. Also will you be reviewing the jaguar F Type R or v8s, M6 or 650i gran coupe, 3 sires gt, upcoming xc90, and the audi q7? Yeah I know it's a lot but will you have a chance to review these someday?
Tech Defender The most spacious (while still being affordable) 2 door coupe I can think of is the Dodge Challenger. Someone correct me if I'm wrong *EDIT* Challenger, not Charger, sorry.
I would say something along the lines of the Challenger or 6-Series would be the most comfortable coupe. Actually the Dodge reminds me a great deal of the 6-Series out on the road. I hope to have the 3-Series GT at some point and possibly the F-Type R. There are older videos on my channel of the M6 convertible, 650i convertible and 640i gran coupe.
No offense, but that origami roof gives it a high LEGO factor. A black paint job hides the seams better.... All the things you have to sacrifice for driving topless... looks, rigidity, trunk space, rear seat, that anti-turbulence thingy.... I'd rather have a hardtop with a sunroof.
Thanks for the feedback, I am really being pressured hard to split the reviews in 2 segments from UA-cam, their creative consultants and the channel analytics. It supposedly improves your ranking by making the "percent watched" figure go up which improves search results. That coupled with the feedback from viewers on Facebook that they would like to see it segmented here we are. I however do prefer one video myself so I'm torn.
Incredible technical review. One of the Best technical reviewers out there. Bravo love your work.
You took it to a whole new level in car reviews with the camera angles,
Once again a super detailed and excellent review

I Love My 428i BMW convertible 😍
Very detailed video!
Great video, what happens when battery dies on that proximity key? How do you operate, door, roof and other car gadgets? How do you start the engine?

Alex on Autos That doesn't answer the question.
Alex, a big fan of urs. Can u do one of ur derailed reviews on santa fe and the wrx?
The Santa Fe Sport should be up soon but I don't have a timeline on the WRX.
Thanks for the update. I was evaluating the seven seater.
Great videos. I would just like to give you a recommendation, when you say BMW was not the first to implement the mechanism for the trunk - can you please include which manufacture was?
If I recall correctly it was Pininfarina who developed the folding hard top for the last generation Volvo C70.
Alex on Autos Sorry I may not have stated the question properly, I meant the system where it raises the roof for easy access storage. Who was the first to implement that?
Thank you in advance.
8150shaf It was Volvo still with that C70. I believe the design was by Piininfarina but the first implementation was in the C70
Thank you for the update!

its perfect car! gas comfort style and performance

Why couldn't Lexus make the rear end of the IS C this attractive.
Alex I've got a few questions for you.

Ohhhh coupe, it thought her meant convertible.... Hmmm, maybe Mercedes CL? It depends on your budget!

Hi Alex, I see you have the new chrysler 200 slated for review. Do you know the date on that yet? Thanks.
Hopefully it will be out to my Facebook followers on Thursday and to the general populace on Friday

Please Keep the reviews for the same car in one video...I can never tell what is what. Thanks
Really? Is it that hard to press an extra button?

how do you block channels?
Your graphics block out too much of the vehicle. No need for such large graphics.
So works as kidnapping device as well.
Looks like 2020
O man looks rubbish this bmw ugly
