I love the fact that you defend the Gio series at 20:17. I have a 2007 GRG170DX and I love it. I have put so many hours of practice on it, became a better player because of that guitar, and it made me an Ibanez fan, so you can be sure that it will not be my last Ibby ;)
I didn't even notice, but that's a good point. The upgraded Upper Cuts (so the one with UCS in the name) had stainless steel, but regular Prestige do not.
I just bought my first guitar ever. i bought a GRX70QA Gio guitar. I don't like the Tremolo on it. Do you know if it can be updated to a fixed brdge or one of the locking Ibanez Edge locking tremolos? Ibanez support is very slow of giving me any information . I do want to put locking tuners on it. Looking for tuners that I don't have to drill extra holes in the head to install the locking tuners. Thanks for doing Ibanez info on their guitars.
If I recall correctly this one has single locking, fender style tremolo. In that case you can just put 5 springs on it and floor to the body and it will be pretty much locked. You can wedge a piece of wood between the block and the body in the back for added effect. It will be acting like fixed bridge then.
@@Ibbyhead The wedge is the easiest way. I wonder why the dislike of the tremolo. I have an RG with the Ibanez Floyd on it and once set to parallel, tuned and locked on the nut, it stays in tune just as much as my Les Paul.

Thanks for proving my point! :) GRG170s are awesome intro-level guitars.
Another feature that is different on the AZ-N line is the Trem is decked, not routed like on the AZ line.
You're right, thanks for that comment! I learned about it after I posted the video.
It’s such a shame the prestige RGDs don’t get stainless steel frets even though they are significantly more expensive than the prestige RGs. Oh well.

Ang ganda naman ng model ng mga yan at ang kulay pa niya.. Aguy team
