There are two things I can add to this video from the experience point of view as I have close to 4 years of experience and have interviewed more than 70 candidates so far. To me, as an interviewer, the extra-curriculars point matters. It's not necessary, but if one includes that he managed an event, or class as a class monitor, then that changes how I ask the questions in the behavioural round. So there is nothing wrong in actually including them. Even HRs give some extra score to check them if in case they are present on the resume. However, this is only if the resume is shortlisted by an ATS and if it has a proper legible layout. Even adding a short intro line in the top is fine, but keep it to 1-2 lines max. If you decide to add it, keep it in passive voice and that will make your resume look like it has some recommendation. That is not wrong at all, and even preferred for experienced folks.
Can you mention the company you working for so that the audience gets a better idea. To make points clear, I did not say don’t add, I always said 1-2 points at max, not 50% of a resume. 😅
@@takeUforward Sure, I work as an SDE-1 (Android & iOS) at Juspay. In Rahul's case, it is twice the max lines, but still it is ok since he has to fill his resume somehow. Not many freshers will have projects to add to the resume, especially if they are from Tier-3 or Tier-4 colleges. I would've shortlisted him if there is enough vacancy.

man u totally neglected the skills sections of some resume and companies these don't give a shit to ur college degrees these days, imo there should be 3 sections namely skills, projects and work-experience and any github, linkedin etc links can be provided in the header or footer itself
