Hey man, you did a damn good job regardless of what place you took. The "win" is that you made it this far and have overcome all the other tests that got you here already. Juggling life and work, having a newborn, taking care of a family and business, traveling across the country AND all the while capturing it all on video (and not to mention the superior grade of editing for a finished product!) so that whether in the truck or in the boat, we all get to ride shotgun along the way with you! It was great to see my home waters and captured in only the way the @MillikenFishing channel can do. Being that I'm here in Florida, it's great to see a piece of home that has a storyline along with it that isn't of my own and rooting for someone I've never met personally but feel I have made a cool connection with made this chapter in your life's story one that was worth watching from the sideline and being invested in. Chin up bro... there's a whole lot of fishin' left. Believe in yourself and let the rest fall in place. 1st place preferably, but we'll take a top 10 to get ya in the bubble lol. Cheers man!🍻

I never had a UA-cam account but I wanted to make one to comment, I’ve been a fan for a minute and to see you fish professional and for Cole-slaw to be there (& family) it’s truly amazing. Last June I got my Masters Plumbing License and since then we've blown up! Today we found out that we're in the finals for the Best Plumbing company in the Baytown-Mont Belvieu Tx. area!! Been a blast watching the Tournament series so far. Competition is the ultimate test of angling ability, most people can catch fish when they can go where and when they want and fish how they want. Completely different story when there are 100 to 200 (or more) guys that all know what they are doing fishing when and where they are told. Best of luck for the rest of the season from an old Scottish competition angler that still wins the odd local event i enter here on the east coast of Scotland.
Coming from someone ignorant to tournament fishing, (will be participating in my first next week) I say go out and have fun. You’re already in the Classic. The Elite Series is just icing on the cake. Keep digging. You got this.
Ben, I will always be a fan. You are the most down to earth UA-camr on the planet. I have learned more from you about tenacity, about determination, and about fishing in general than any other UA-camr and all but maybe two guys in person. I loved it when you waded small frozen creeks with Salmon eggs, caught huge catfish w/Pornstach, and of course hunt small mouth with the wizard. Pulling for you to win, but still with you if you don't. If you get to MD, crab cakes are on me! Tight Lines and Happy fishing. Much success to you.

What you've done so far in your first season is incredible. I know you're going to make it to the Elites this year, BUT - on the off-chance that you come up a little short, it's your first attempt! I would hate to see this be your final attempt if you come up a little short on the first try. Keep grinding, and I think you are destined to win big.

Honestly I use to not like Ben, never a "hater" just for some reason I didn't like him, I always respected him as an angler you can never take talent away from a man, I contiuesly watched the videos because I love fishing in general. And then I started to realize how good of a person he was and how real of a person he was he's not the clean cut front of magazine well spoken angler everyone is used to he's your typical pond hopper fish for the love of the sport guy. My man when people talk shit about you finishing in the top 50% just goes to show how damn consistently good you are. So good that when you drop to 90th(top 50%) they talk about it being a bad finish. Many anglers live their life around the 50% mark or lower. Good on you sir.

You should talk to Justin at Kayak catfishing for Watts Bar. He actually locates his catfish based on the same way you'd locate bass regarding contour maps. Not saying he is a cheat code, but he's fished that body of water for years and could probably give you some good areas to check out.
Hell, it would be cool to see y'all collab on a video sometime! Bring him over to fish for bass and you go over to him to fish for monster cats. It would be a helluva collab!

It never surprises me how anyone can say anything to you except, great job, Ben. Keep up the hard work. The opens are so incredibly difficult as witnessed by bass fishing veterans of 20 years who still go fish them and hardly place in the top 50. I don’t think anybody making negative comments has ever fished a tournament with more than 20 boats. Idiot naysayers
