Brings so much pride ! Will forever be grateful I was part of the Loretian family . A school or more so a family that not only moulded us academically but one that instilled in us life lessons and moral values that remain to play a huge role in the lives of all Loretians.
Hi. Loretto convent shillong, was having boys students also till Dec 1969. I m one of the them , then they discontinued boys , after which I joined St Edmunds from March 1970. Loretto was a beautiful school with wonderful teachers, I think Sister Anne Therese was the principal during 1969, afterwhich she was transferred to Loretto convent Delhi,I wish this school the very best in both academics and moral development , God bless you all
How wonderful to read this feedback from a male alumni. We had male classmates in my class too. The boys were with us till Class 2. The boys were more energetic and naturally boisterous as boys would be and I remember our Class teacher yelling at the top of her voice to bring order. Lovely memories. It was sad that the male intake was stopped because the added to our rich and wonderful experience of the lower classes
