Thank you so much💕 I am working on showing more than I tell in future videos. For the picture options I chose the 16×20 poster sizes and 8×10 prints. Hope this helps. feel free to ask any other questions here.
Great video! What size was your poster?
Hi 👋🏾 the posters were 16x20 prints
Hi! Which glue worked best? How hard was it cutting out the foam core board with scissors?
Hello,
The mod podge glue works the best for attaching the picture to the foam board. You can use hot glue aswell, but the picture will not lay down as flat. The hot glue works the best and is the strongest to attach the foam board to the wooden painter's sticks. The foam board is not hard to cut through with scissors, but the edges of your poster will not be as smooth and precise using scissors compared to a utility knife. If you do not have a utility knife, scissors will most definitely get the job done, but you have to be more careful. Hope that helps💞
@@iamSincerelyDre Hi! I apologize that I am just reading your response to my question. We definitely struggled using a hot glue gun. You're absolutely right! It did not lay flat. I just used glue sticks. It worked for our party, but definitely didn't adhere very well. The photos were coming loose the morning after the party. The scissors worked, but as you said, not well and left shabby edges. We used an Xacto knife. It worked much better, but a utility knife might have been the best. It took forever!! Lol!! We cut out 2 each of my son's school pictures from 3 yr old preschool to Junior yr of high school and lined our driveway with them. They turned out cute! Thanks for the tips:)
How did you use the mod podge? Did you just paint it on the foam board then place the photo on? Did you also apply mod podge on top of the photo?
Hello! I used the mod podge to adhere the photo to the foam board so only between those two layers. I did not apply the mod podge on top of the photo because my picture already had a glossy finish to it so there was no need. Hope this helped out. If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know.
I’m look to do something for my son football team as gifts on senior night any ideas?
Yeah for the game I would definitely suggest bringing anything to show your support for them so they feel like the star for the day whether that be the fat heads I made in this video, fans (might be nice if it's hot outside), ballons if allowed, or even pom poms. As far as gifts go I would definitely suggest making him a football themed gift box or a new duffle bag filled with all his favorite sports drinks, customized water bottle, snacks, maybe a framed picture of him in his uniform or a list of all his stats for him to always remember. One thing my team gave me for senior night was a signature basketball that the whole team signed. You could probably find a football to gift him so he could have his teammates sign aswell. Hope that helps and hope he enjoys senior year🥳🥳
Thanks need this class of 2021 see my full face without a mask
You are so adorable
Did you crop the photos beforehand and send the photos in as just the head? I’m worried they may turn out grainy and not clear if I crop the photos.
Yeah I can understand that. I actually took a close up picture to use for mine so I did not have to crop much. My full printed pictures were from chest up so I just cut everything else out after they were printed but depending on the size of your pictures now you may not have to crop anything. A cool feature on the Walgreens site is that they would tell you depending on the size of the picture that you upload if the system believes that it would be grainy or not. If anything you can always try buying one in the large size and seeing how that looks before getting more. Hope that helps💕
@@iamSincerelyDre awesome thanks so much!!!
Hi! What was the dimension for your larger face fans
Hey 👋🏾 they were the 16x20 poster size
The knife is called a box cutter.
