I think an underrated combo that no one talks about is red skull and shang chi. A lot of popular cards right now slide under shang chi, like maximus, vulture, modok, etc. There are a lot of cards that slide under shang range that I’m not thinking about right now, but red skull adding the 2 power that makes them shangable is great.
Made this combo with an anti-Nidavillar deck when it was the hot location a few days ago. Worked pretty well. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this
Iron fist + aero is a great turn 6 play, you can sling their stuff into a ditch lane and then scoot the aero out and put her 7 power in a better position
Similar, though more difficult to pull off, is iron fist on 4 followed by doc ock on 5 (obviously you need +1 energy - from electro earlier, a location, sera, whatever). That's especially great if rickety bridge is in play.
Luke Cage + Valkyrie is also extremely powerful for winning a full lane. At first I thought Valkyrie was just a worse shang chi but she's surprisingly powerful. I'm playing with her a lot.
The iron fist variant spreads 9 power to each other lane including the lane that previously had just nimrod and hull buster. So it’s just a net gain to the third lane, but it’s a surprise if the opponent cosmo’d the nimrod. If kingpin was shielded then the whole combo is ruined tho. I think the idea is that n turn 6 the opponent drops their cards in the kingpin lane to avoid aero/magneto and ignores the other two lanes.
@@chargegarg8234 I'm having success with it at infinite and it's fairly fun to pull off. I play a mix that combines move and destroy cards and it's really fun to pilot the deck. There's still room for optimization and it's definitely not on the same level as Shuri Zero and Thanos Lockjaw but I still manage to beat both decks with it on occasion.
@@russellharrell2747 If everything goes right, I drop Carnage on the other location so that the newly made Nimrod gets destroyed for a total of 3 Nimrods on the field. Also, Shuri on Nimrod beforehand makes it 14 power with Hulkbuster. You do need a lot of pieces to get that combo going but there are some good backup plays. I like baiting Armor and Cosmo by playing Bucky on another location only for me to move him to Kingpin on turn 6. Enchantress also helps deal with Armor but, unfortunately, Cosmo and Armor are really prevalent in the current meta which just makes Nimrod sad. Still, I'm finding success with this because most people don't expect it at the moment.
dude, I didn't know I needed this video. Such a better way for me to get better at understanding the game. Right now I've been trying to make my decks more surprising and this will be a really helpful resource to plug some different types of combos into different archtypes. Thanks Cozy!

Great video and a handy resource for unique deck building. Personally I've always been a fan of building decks that are comprised of smaller 2 to 3 card combos that can help surprise my opponents since I'm not just net decking so my plays aren't as telegraphed. Really love the iron fist/Vulture combo (and with miles morales you have a 1/5 to help win a lane in the late game).

Mr fantastic + crossbones is quickly becoming my favourite combo in tempo decks. I really love playing it with a big turn 5 play like gamora or spiderwoman and then aero-ing them away to win those 2 lanes.

I’ve been using Luke Cage and Lizard/Typhoid Mary/Yellow Jacket to not get the negative effect. Also just to be able to play on negative locations. I can’t remember if you talked about Hulkbuster combos. It goes good with Human Torch/Vulture of course but there’s also Nimrod then carnage/deathlok/venom. Or deadpool/wolverine

Another combo i havent seen used much because of the turn 4-5-6 meta, is the weenie deck with Storm+Quake fakeout. You build on a couple lanes with cheap cards and token cards, follow it up with Storm on an empty sidelane, only to move the locked down lane towards your earlier winning lanes.
Infinaut + storm deck has been INSANE for me. Only my 2nd season playing, at card collection level 600ish. Last season I ended on plat, im currently at omega 87. Its an amazing 8 cube winner. Albeit my version doesnt run shehulk/magik
Really good stuff focusing on play patterns. This kind of stuff so far, is only really discussed heavily during gameplay videos and it's always more helpful to see the play patterns and intended combos than it almost is to see the decklist itself. I think you have a good visual language here to use in future videos.
bounce is Awesome . It's great for whenever you want to do the most involved high I.Q. plays ever and then lose by 2 power. Lol I do really like bounce though. BBC baby (Bishop Beast Collector)
A new combo I've started using is Wong into Modok when I have Swarm, Helicarrier, and/or Apocalypse in hand with Morbius/Collector/Mystique on board. Massive power jumps out of nowhere, and Wong is still relatively unplayed in Discard, while the opponent will usually try to drop Cosmo early to shut down your discards, so your Wong lane should usually be safe.
i'm proud of this one so i'll share just a bit of a revision to the onslaught > serra , instead what i did was 3 wave> 4 serra> 5 onslought > 6 mystique > patriot/blue marvel > ultron or other low cost drops which gives plus 16 or plus 6 to everything depending on who you pair it with preferably patriot because no body expects a 16 powered squirrel or Ultron bot
Zabu and/or Sera with Shang-Chi + Absorbing Man is a decent combo to battle the Shuri-meta. You can play out both on turn 6, or, even use your Shang-Chi to bait out a Snap, then follow up with Abs-man next round.
adding on with the collector discard plays Helicarries is really good with it you can run something like wong modok and if you have collector and morbius in play collector will gain 3 power from the helicarrier disacrd and morbius will gain an extra 6 power from the modok discarding whatever the helicarrier droppped its one of my favorite things to do in the game right now.
Invis woman has more complex combos then are first noticed. Thinking about how the first invis woman card triggers off the last card played in game. Putting absorbing man , mistique etc first planning to copy the last card played. Taskmaster also. You can use invis woman to copy your turn 6 play instead of always needing to copy a 4 cost to fit task in turn 6 etc. Many mechanics and plays can be made with this mindset
Attuma also pairs well with Prof. More power than Rescue without the telegraph. I had an opponent try to Aero my turn 5 play into Attuma, only to lose their Aero and the lane.
My favorite combos both involve yellow jacket. First is yj and Adam warlock. Gets a guarantee card draw and base even makes it better. The next is prof x and yj. The extra 2 power on the prof x lane can win you some games.
Don't forget that using zero to remove another cards ability will allow it be powered up by patriot. One cheeky little combo I like is to zero on turn then domino turn 2. Then my patriot will power it. This also works when using Sauron to remove abilities though if you play sauron before you play patriot it won't work.
I've been enjoying playing dagger, Thor/maximus, shuri right, doc ock mid and Heimdall left or mid depending on where that power is needed to push dagger into mid

Valkire Cage is a cheeky combo. Since cards value can't be lowered you can win a lane in this manner. I got this idea from another vid so I'm sorry I don't know who to credit.

I love combining Wong and Lock Jaw in an affliction deck. opponents think the worst is over and then bam!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i need is Zabu to complete that combo.
A ramp combo ive been using and you didn't put up is wave3 doom 4 absorbing man 5 Odin6 or same combo with white tiger over doom or with doom ..tiger 5 Odin the tiger doom / absorbing man lane .. Most people think galactis instead full board of 5s and 7s
Just a tip for future videos - although I like the fast videos, it was hard to track because the order of combos on the screen was not the order in which you explained them. If possible, try to narrate in order next time
I've used the Lockjaw>Jubilee combo to get to Infinite 3 seasons in a row. Probably gonna be a 4th time this season. Just such a solid combo in a top heavy deck
@@CarlosMichel316 if u have Sunspot and Lockjaw, hold onto Domino so you have guaranteed Lockjaw food. You're gonna have an urge to replace Hulk, I don't recommend it. Sometimes you just need a big body that doesnt do anything and can be played anywhere. Leech can be replaced with Sandman. You will find yourself retreating on turn 4 if you drew all your 6 cost. That's okay. Make sure you Snap before playing Leech or one of the sick combos. I recommend playing on PC with Untapped or another app that lets you see what cards are left in your deck.
I love putting in Devil Dino and Moon Girl into a Negative list. Yes Moon Girl doesn't benefit from the Negative switch, but if you can play Moon Girl to double up your 0/5 Iron Man you'll be eating good
Don't you need to play Black Widow and wave in the same turn for that combo to work? So it's only playable in turn 5, so no reason to follow up with odin. (at least not for this specific combo...)

Namor + Nightcrawler is an amazing combo as Nightcrawler keeps Namor safe from Shang-Chi until the final round.
One of the few twists in meta decks ive seen that surprised me is having Cloak in a Thanos-Lockjaw deck (more turn6 lockjawing)

Gamora can be a great sub for Black Panther and combos into Zola for newer players. Works well if you set up with Daredevil too.

Valk + Demon combo is a super underated
An often overlooked combo: Iron Fist + Aero
my favorite discard combo is collector + modok with helicarier, swarms and apoc in the hand (bonus if you play modok on wong)

How does the black widow wave Odin work I mean it is meant for turn 5?
Turn 2, Black Widow. Turn 3, wave (makes all cards cost 4 i.e. Odin will cost 4). Turn 4, play Odin on Black widow, stopping their draw.

The combo stops draw for two turns unless you have good hand you can't counter it. Personally I would skip playing the bite at turn five

Don't you need to play Black Widow and wave in the same turn for that combo to work? So it's only playable in turn 5, so no reason to follow up with odin. (at least not for this specific combo...)
