North to Alaska is the song to sing on your way there, if you happen to get bored...lol. Glad to see that you step out to take a vacation, as it does help to rejuvenate your spirit some, as a rule. Safe travels, wherever you decide to travel.
Really nice video. I would love to do an Alaskan cruise but have to just view one from you guys and family who just went! I have been to the Butchart Botanical Gardens in Victoria which was fabulous. Saw lots of float planes there.
{Insert selfie} Us in front of The Drop at the Vancouver Convention Center back in July. We had ridden up to Whistler then spent two nights in Vancouver. Definitely recommend the ride from Vancouver to Whistler and the mountain trams.
We certainly enjoyed our Cruisetour with Princess Cruise line in June of this year. We also spent an extra day in Vancouver and were able to get to Butchart Gardens. The Gardens were amazing and so beautiful
So glad you enjoyed Vancouver. I lived there for over 45 years…it is beautiful. Rode the Harley around Stanley Park many times. We just moved to Salmon Arm…five hours away…equally as beautiful but with a lot less traffic, rain and people. If you ever get the chance you should visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge around Christmas…the Christmas lights are just spectacular.
If you come back to Vancouver, head up to Grouse Mountain, or Whistler, views would be fantastic…. Have said that, Don’t bother if the weather is not cooperating. You can take the harbour ferry to North Vancouver and you can probably find a bus up to Grouse Mountain. Taxi is doable too. Whistler is 2 hours away by car. Hope you enjoy your trip, no matter what you do…..and a good break from driving - towing! Check our Granville island too…. Make sure you are hungry…. ! Regards..
We did that this year. We took the Princess line also. We eent on June and it was mostly cold. If you take the train, be sure you sit on the right side of the train to take rhe best pics. It was so beautiful, but did run into some rain and fog. Have a great time.
What a beautiful journey through parts of Vancouver. Nice plan to get to BC a few days before the start of the cruise. Glad Daisy said hi at the end of the video.
My home town!! Nice to see you two enjoying it! It rains a lot in vancouver! Keep on having fun! ❤❤❤ use to go to lots of outdoor concerts, like blue rodeo a few times. Good times.
Nice - Vancouver looks beautiful - I haven't been that far west (I'm in Ottawa). I already recognize your travelling guests (Hi Phil & Stacey) - Lol! Cheers!
Interesting, of all the years of watching your video's, you've come to where 'I' live, actually outside the city in the suburbs, as I often wondered if you'd venture to Alaska in the truck & RV, as there is 'so much' to see, other than what one will see on a cruise. I've been to Alaska a couple of times, actually one of the trips took us to Inuvik, in the North West Territories, then down through Alaska, where we took a ferry from Whittier Alaska to Valdez, seeing chunks of ice the size of houses falling from one of the glaciers on the trip! Valdez is gorgeous of course (reminding me of Switzerland photos) but I look forward to your future video's, as it HAS to be enormously awesome, as I'm sure you two will have a fabulous time! Stay safe, relax and enjoy! I will mention as well, so far...we've never taken a cruise, always enjoyed 'the drive', but I'm sure it will happen some day.
Oh I would go back on an Alaskan cruise in a heartbeat!!! We were on a smaller Princess ship, the Island Princess but we had a fantastic time and I hope you guys did too! We did the 3 hour zip line in Juneau which also included a couple of rope bridges. That swayed. Lol.
We’ve enjoyed following your adventures the past several years prior to our move to Vancouver Island last year. We are living FT in our RV & enjoying our Retirement.
I the Stanley you are talking about is Frederick Arthur Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby, yes I had to look it up. I was thinking about taking my Orca on that walk but the authorities made me throw it back in the ocean. I don't know why, she had never bitten anyone although she did chase the mailman occasionally. Keep the good stuff coming guys and day Hi to Phil and Stacy.
I work for TSA in San Antonio. Here we would have given you a TSA Pre card and you would have kept your shoes and hat. An the CT machines we use allows you to leave everything in your bag. You should have flown out of here. 😁
Great video of Vancouver. Can't wait for the cruise video. Thanks ! BTW, here is the info on the original donnor for the Stanley Cup, (info from Google) Frederick Arthur, Lord Stanley of Preston The cup's donor was a governor-general of Canada, Frederick Arthur, Lord Stanley of Preston, for whom it is named. It was originally intended to go to the outstanding Canadian team, as determined by a play-off, and the first winner was the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association.
Love the video! Tara, I also take alot of meds, once on vacation I had my pain medication stolen. Luckily I count those and write the how many I have left in my calander (only for my reference) but I had to go thru so much to get them refilled! Had to file a police report, get fingerprinted, police came and dusted for prints in the room. All this had to be done before my Dr could legally fill a new rx. I was lucky I knew that it was nearly a full rx. But it still took days for insurance to approve too. I've since learned since we do travel often, to always take all your medications with me on the flight, and never put anything in checked luggage. Even my supplements that I rely on, come on board with me in a carry-on. I'm sharing this because I've had theft happen, and it can be a real disruption of travel plans. As well as dangerous to your health. BTW, you couldn't pay me to walk on that bridge! No, not the shaking 😮!
Good video yall last time we were in Vancouver was in 2007 we had sailed from Seattle to Alaska along the inside passage to end up in Vancouver on princess cruise line it was very cool
Tara’s comment of the case with her meds and supplements was a memory for me. My wife has many of the same problems, and we flew to Cancun for three months. Now that was a case full of meds and supplements.🤨really enjoy your videos. She had same reaction to Capilano Bridge, and very few other people on it.
We went on the princess cruise to alaska. It was great. We made the mistake of only staying in Vancouver over night. We should have stayed a couple of days. We’re taking a Caribbean cruise in June
You guys were probably in Skagway about a week after we were there! But we drove our motorhome up there. It would have been incredible to see you! Maybe somewhere down the road...🙂
What an amazing coincidence with one of our favorite channels!! We spent 24 hours in Vancouver our video went out yesterday and we also did our first cruise through Alaska and those videos will follow the next few weeks! I have to say Great minds think a like!! Loved your video always have. We actually have taken your advice before we did the same Reno and Lake Tahoe Camprounds this summer and we didn't even know you did Canada and Alaska Cruise. Dang wish we would have ran into you two that would have topped everything off. Great video as always can't wait to see what you thought of Alaska and your experience!!..Jodi
"Pacific Northwest where it's wet"? Why are we in a drought and under water restrictions after about 3 months of virtually no rain in the Seattle area just south of Vancouver? Welcome to our little part of the world. We took an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver during the summer and had a fabulous time. I trust you enjoyed your cruise. Keep up the nice videos and it's totally okay to change lanes.
Very nice video, ya'll. Beautiful area up there, to see and visit. Glad you included us on your vacation. I truly hope that ya'll really enjoy it. It sounds like ya'll know, but Pacific Northwest and Alaska, you have to dress for at least 3 seasons each day, and one better include rain gear. Can't wait for the Alasks portion of your trip. If the glimpse was correct, my favorite two channels were together. Really hope ya'll enjoy and get to relax a bit. God bless and stay safe on your travels.
On your cruise you'll pass thru Seymour Narrows (north of Campbell River), and up thru Discovery Passage. Lovely little area with extremely strong currents, we spend a few weeks on the coastline there and watch all the cruise ships and marine traffic go by 🙂 Along with humpback whales, orcas, birds, etc.
Aw cool, you were in our neck of the woods, although we live on the outskirts of Vancouver! It’s been a few years since we went to the the capilano suspension bridge, and I don’t do very well with heights and the movement of the bridge which equaled rubbery legs, yikes 🤭😅 June is a hit and miss, either its sunny and quite warm, or cloudy with rain, and can be cool. Stanley Park is really pretty, the Vancouver Aquarium is located in the park aswell, it’s a bit expensive but it’s something to do in the area. Can’t wait for the next part of the trip! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
My wife and I took a break from RV life and decided to stay in Alaska for a few years with our military kids. You will love it here. We came for a visit and decided to stay and see as much as we could. Have a great trip. Love seeing your adventures
Never ever go anywhere and check your medication with your luggage. If you need medication, take it with you in your carry on in its original prescription bottles. Also always carry at least 1-2 changes of clothing (underwear included). We are the pros at "Lost luggage". We're also the pros at disaster weather while traveling (4 hurricanes, 2 tornadoes, 1 earthquake) so far. We even had a hurricane on our wedding cruise.
Yikes! It sounds like you’re definitely pros at traveling though the bad weather! I did have all of my prescriptions in their bottles with me in my carry on bag, however I take a lot of supplements as well. We were gone for about 17 days, so it was a lot of pills lol 😆
My bride and I visited the Capilano Bridge before our Alaska Cruise. My bride crossed by facing the railing, crossing one hand over the other, never letting go. The only problem was when we encountered a woman coming from the opposite direction doing the same thing. Neither wanted to let go! Her husband and I looked at each other and shrugged. He grabbed his wife's belt, i grabbed my wife's, and worked the two around each other without either letting go. The tourists on the bridge had a huge laugh.
IMO, I always carry most/all of my medication in my carry on luggage. And some in my fanny pack. Many times my luggage goes to another city. Trust yourself.
Maybe you guys can help me. Looking at momentum 336 what if different with queen and king bed option other than mattress? Or is that the only difference thanks if you can help nothing tells me any info that I can find.
We loved gas town, but that was many years ago. It was mostly tourists at that time. We walked to the nearby Chinatown too. There was a pretty garden dedicated to Sun Yat Sen, I believe.
It’s amazing only two blocks east from there is a huge difference, a massive difference. It’s a sad situation. I know everybody who lives in Vancouver would agree. I am a transit operator. I drive through that area constantly. love your channel follow you guys for about three years now. you guys are awesome. Thanks for all the videos you put out.
Fun fact Canadians still call it Canadian bacon cause its a different cut. The tenderloin is what the Canadian bacon is made from. Bacon is side cuts. Fredrick Authur, lord Stanley of Preston.
North to Alaska is the song to sing on your way there, if you happen to get bored...lol. Glad to see that you step out to take a vacation, as it does help to rejuvenate your spirit some, as a rule. Safe travels, wherever you decide to travel.
That was some really nice plsces that you shared. Thank you for taking us along. Looking forward to the rest of yalls vacation.
I love your videos and yes, I’m to be counted as one that loves seeing Daisy in them as well
Really nice video. I would love to do an Alaskan cruise but have to just view one from you guys and family who just went! I have been to the Butchart Botanical Gardens in Victoria which was fabulous. Saw lots of float planes there.

Our ship tied up there for R and R, best Maritime museum I've ever seen.
I hope you guy had a great vacation with friends.

Very happy for you both getting away and taking a vacation. Vancouver is a great place. Victoria is also a great place.

The seawall is the worlds longest uninterrupted seawall path, 28km long. Welcome to my hometown.
Welcome to the west coast, our home base. Glad you 2 could see some local sights in Vancouver. Have a great time on the cruise

Nice show Chad and Tara! Thank you for sharing the ride!
Definitely get a couple of bottles of the Ice Wine it is a dessert wine, but the cleanest tasting wine i have ever had ❤❤❤ I order by mail now 😊
We went on the princess cruise to alaska. It was great. We made the mistake of only staying in Vancouver over night. We should have stayed a couple of days. We’re taking a Caribbean cruise in June
Thanks for the tour. It was great! Daisy is such a cutie!!!

The clock "chime" is based on "West Minster Chimes".

My orca couldn’t clear customs. It didn’t get to go on the bridge. Hope you had fun.
Such a pretty area. I am jealous of your cruise. Tell Stacy and Phil to behave.

Great choice on not taking the rig. Great video, thank you!
You picked a great city to visit, enjoy your stay in Canada.
Every time I go through Vancouver, it rains. Now bring that 5th wheel to Alaska
VanDusen Botanical Garden > QE Rose Garden. But there is a cost. We liked them both.
Next time come up in June and I can get you out for amazing fishing in homer.
My wife and I took a break from RV life and decided to stay in Alaska for a few years with our military kids. You will love it here. We came for a visit and decided to stay and see as much as we could. Have a great trip. Love seeing your adventures

Usually, if the bedroom is set up for a king, you have smaller side tables.. but I'm not sure about this model where the bed is over the grarage...
If you don't mind me asking what do you do for a living...?
Please see: changinglanesrv.com/faq/?Display_FAQ=2168
Who is taking care of Daisy?
Chad's parents. 👍🏼 🐶
Oh yeah they lost our bags for most the trip
Where is the puppy
She makes a short appearance in the video... 😊 🐶
It’s unfortunate, but Gastown is in one of the worst parts of Vancouver
Yes, it’s so bad, my hubby works downtown Vancouver and I worry for his safety
We loved gas town, but that was many years ago. It was mostly tourists at that time. We walked to the nearby Chinatown too. There was a pretty garden dedicated to Sun Yat Sen, I believe.
Other than one homeless person, it seemed like a perfectly fine area to an outsider.
