It's the built-in ease of adjustments and fine-tuning the Gleaner provides to the amateur and expert farmer alike.
While it servers it's poupose, I would have liked to see it done and in a full machine.
As much as a new combine cost, this step should be done from the factory, along with tightening every bolt and set screw.
This process is done at the factory and checked during the pre-delivery inspection at the dealership. This is also something that needs to be done at the beginning of the harvest season to optimize the performance of the machine.
Is it the same idea for series we have a r 65 gleaner
The principles are the same, but on the earlier small rotor machines the concaves are a two piece, upper and lower design. There are four dimensions on each side to measure. The process is included in the operator manual of the machine.
