I caught my personal best catfish today at 18 pounds. Can’t wait to chase big fish and shatter that number in 2023.
What’s your personal best catfish (weight or length)?

THE greatest state in all the land (in my humble opinion). Glad you enjoyed the video Herbert, I’ll be posting more outdoor content around Texas so stay tuned.

Personally will never understand the appeal of fishing. Certainly sounded fun, love me some fresh fish, but just wasn't for me. Only thing I ever caught were catfish. Tough fish to clean. A ticket for camping?! Crazy world. Better to have people in tents on the sidewalk?! That's accepted, but don't u dare camp somewhere nice. Nice camp setup high on ur truck! Catfish remind me of dinosaurs, def cool looking fish

Fishing isn't for everyone, but its my ticket to getting outside and enjoying nature. I would tend to agree that camping should be a little less regulated (free and open campsites), but hey... give people an inch and they will take a mile. But I'm glad you liked my setup, its definitely convenient and fun. I have a couple other videos where I am using it, I encourage you to check them out. Thanks for supporting the channel:)

Right on brother. I'm in my 40s and am a severe epileptic so I do the stay at home dad thing with my youngest, 13. Though I don't care for fishing, I'm also not inclined to hunt much either, though love shooting and firearms. That gets me outside. My son loves to camp, around us here in southern OR, there are woods in every direction. I hadn't seen a tent setup quite like yours, and I can see many advantages to such a setup. The issue I have with the whole no camping is as you said, that's what gets people outside with there families enjoying nature and getting fresh air. Just think that should be encouraged. I had to run from CA after 35 yrs because it just became a unfriendly, kind of gross place to raise a family. Anywhere you could camp you had to have reservations months or mor in advance pay a bunch of $ for a fire pit, just seemed ridiculous

Glad you found a good landing place; OR is beautiful. Enjoy some camping with your family and if you’re interested in the tent it’s called a Yakima HighRise Roof Top tent. There are hundreds of other brands that make similar style of tent as mine. Check ‘em out!
