★ Heroes is a multi animator project that covers the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Participants were allowed to draw any mcu character(s)/scenes of their choice for their parts, with the end of the map being scripted to major events in Avengers: Infinity War. All, of course, with one catch: You had to draw all the characters as animals!
Why? Well, while it is important to push yourself as an artist, but it's also important to have fun! Heroes was meant to be a way for artists to express their love of marvel in a way that was more comfortable for them. There’s no shame in animalifying human characters--it's fun, harmless, and certainly not something that should be put down!

HUGE thanks to my right hand man Burrferns! They made my life so much easier and I honestly don't deserve their charity. They helped participants edit their parts and did backgrounds, they made the end credits, they set up announcements and journal entries, they kept up to date with the participants, they organized everything, and they were honestly the only reason why I uploaded these designs.
I have been making animal avengers designs since 8th grade, and i was always worried about posting them. If it weren't for Fern offering to help me make these designs, this MAP probably wouldn't have been possible, as I had it planned out 8 months before it's actual release date!! Yikes.

I like that the Hulk is a big green lion, as opposed to, like, just a bigger green cat. And how Thanos is a BEAR of all things, and Steve is a dog, to represent the super soldier serum maybe? Rocket seems to still be him (a raccoon), but I think Thor just changed from a cat to a dog, which confuses me. Also, please make another based from Endgame, because this is awesome and I want more.

The song. It fits so perfectly. The animation. Is downright some of the best I’ve seen in a while. The character designs... they’re all on point.
Infinity War was painful enough, but having a bit of knowledge on what happens in Endgame really powers this entire MAP and fills it with feels for me.
All of the animators did an amazing job, they captured the story of each character, recreated scenes from ever-stretching times before this.

OMG this is an amazing map. Best I have seen in a very long time. This map was jaw breaking. The way it all comes together is astonishing. Everyone’s art style was so unique in its own way. The idea was amazing, turning the marvel characters into animals and how different people interpreted the idea was the best part. Great respect to the people who joined the PMV and the person who came up with the idea!

Literally every time I watch this, I literally cry.... Especially at the very end, with the snap. This map is so moving and saddening. I love marvel with all of my heart, and I'm thankful this map was made and I found it by accident. Thank you for this.
I normally don't like Maps this much, but this was awesome, greatly made. The scenes were clear, the characters recognizable with clear expressions. Darn, Amazing.

wow. just, wow. the amount of love and care that the two of you put into this project is just astounding. beginning with planning and drawing refs for like, every damn character out there, even if they didn't get used, is already an amazing feat on it's own, but to go further and make icons for each part, animate several parts yourselves, the beautiful post credits scene, to ACTUALLY get a map finished and published on it's intended release date WITHOUT dropping or kicking anyone, and then on top of all of that, the time and effort it took to draw a thank you gift to every participant, even the credit artists... you guys really went above and beyond as MAP hosts. you are incredibly wonderful and passionate people and i'm so excited to see what you've got in store for us next.
