How wonderful that you were able to go back and connect with all these townspeople.

We will be in Calabria looking into my husband’s roots in January 2024. Never been to the south and very much looking forward to it. Hope you’re enjoying your visit!

Thanks. I enjoyed it. Been back in Brazil already. The south is better than I thought, safe and beautiful. The little villages are wonderful and the people are quite nice. It helps if you speak Italian...😉

Yes. My bisnonno was born in Bisignano, Cosenza and migrated to NY. The family names are Greco, Iaquinto and Bisignano. I'm 51 years -old, grew up in NY and Florida and just got my passport a month ago😂😂. I know about my family but I'm going to visit and stay in Cosenza, borgos for about two weeks in the up and coming months. See what more I can learn and find out. I've been learning and practicing the language for the past two years thats why vlogs like yours help so much. Thank you. @@OPTIONLanguageSolutions

I understood when you spoke Calabrian, but what was the language you were speaking to your kids?
