That was a great trail. You would be better off running tires that aren't strictly for mud. I was most impressed by the guy in the stock Ranger. A UTV keeping up with machines built for trails.
I want to explore cathole but I really don't want to go swimming with my ATV 😂 I don't mind floorboard deep water or maybe higher but anything deeper is not my thing as I'm not a "mud" rider..though I do like that thick sticky mud, that's fun to ride through
Hi ken great video Finally showing some food!!!😂😂 cool looking atvs you guys seem to have had a lot of fun. How come you don't try going thru the semi tire deep water lol
We had hot dogs and steak on this trip. Not very fancy but definitely tastes good one You have an op afternoon stop on a trail. Yeah I kind of stay away from that deep water. I don't like spending the day wet. And I don't want a chance flooding my engine. Happened to a few of my friends a few trips ago. They can have that sense of adventure. I'm sticking to the easy. Lol
@@newhampshirevideo I've been there multiple times and obviously when it rains it's feeling muddy there. But the rest of the time I would say that the vast majority of it is relatively dry. There are definitely some sections though that are challenging and wet, especially if you're looking for them
@@sledder603 Yes. I mean it's a relatively small trail system in the scheme of things, but you can certainly go out for a day and cover a lot of ground and not cross the sail same trail twice. You could even do a reasonable weekend here. But I think any more than 2 days of trail riding and you'd be hard-pressed to cover any long distance miles
@@BackcountryNomad I dont know if you guys went on the trails that we did, in the video those trails looked fine compared to what we rode in claremont. Im pretty sure we went on cats hole but there were other trails with 100ft long mud very steep rocks and other things, i almost tipped over my atv a few times and im a experienced rider, and our side by side almost flipped a couple times too. Im guessing yall didnt go on those trails
@@BackcountryNomad huh! I just got our first sxs yesterday and this is where I’ll be riding mostly and it says we are supposed to. I hope we don’t need too definitely would be too hot!
@@coltonhull-uj9ft these machines are tons of fun for sure. We're limited for places to ride in New England but these are some of the best. I'll see you out on the trails

Most of the deep puddles have work arounds. If you want knee deep there is lots of it.... all in all still good trails. Muddy, yes, for sure.

Is it pretty dry most of the time?

I would think Twice with a ATV 2 wheel drive on that route.
I would agree. I wouldn't do it with 2.

Don’t need a helmet there?
New Hampshire is a no helmet state.....We still wear them when we are being crazy or steep terrain.

Wonder how much trash they left
Didnt leave any trash. Infact we try and take out more than we bring in thats the rule isnt it?
It’s mostly our own locals that trash it
