Story time. When I was eight my father took me and my 4 other siblings Christmas shopping for my mom, times were tough and my dad was laid off. He took us to a hardware store we each picked out a kitchen utensils for my mom. I picked out a slotted spoon. When we got home my mother was in a bad mood anyways she saw the bag of utensils and kindly explained to us (ok not so kindly) that kitchen utensils are a gift for the house not her, that she is more than the one that takes care of the house. Those spoons and spatulas went flying across the living room. Every since then anytime anyone would purchase something like a vacuum cleaner or a garbage can lol the tag would always say TO THE HOUSE. THis reminded me of that. Merry Christmas
That’s a great story! Normally, I wouldn’t recommend getting your mother/wife anything that could be associated with housework. A nice vacation or trip to the spa always seemed to be better choices. But we thought we better wait and see how everything goes before booking anything. So I asked the kids what Mom has been most vocal about wanting. And we agreed that we always hear her saying, “I need a new garbage can!” So voilà! Merry Christmas! 😁

This is the type of Christmas I like, they aren’t getting crazy expensive items, they are getting necessary items, such as school supplies clothes, robes pijamas. Normally on UA-cam children are getting the newest MacBooks iPhones, iPads, and ps5’s. I’ve been watching Evantube since I was 7, it’s been so long
You know my dad told me this when I was young "the more you get older the less you get bigger Christmas gifts...." and here they are just getting a arcade machine and the dad spent over $1000 on legos sets . Also when I was younger I did not get like 5 million gifts for Christmas I got like 7 gifts and that wraps up Christmas for me when I was a child. Regard less tho that is my thoughts. You can disagree with me if you like to I am just going off on what I remember. Anyway Merry Christmas.
