Ah cool. The Logitech wheels are great for racing but tough to drift with. Hard to catch slides too. Everyone who is learning should play a drift game like carx , assetto or just drifting in forza to learn how to catch slides like 2nd nature.
Quitting after a crash happens all the time because you are basically last 100% of the time as soon as you need to take a tow to the pit in these rookie series.
Yeah but if they're trying to get out of rookies they should just finish the race and get as little DQ points as possible, because they need SR to get to D not wins.

So I'm fairly new to sim racing on a wheel myself but I'm noticing you follow the car in front quite a bit. Just race your own race bro. Remember your lines and keep at it. And your opponents are in the same class as you, we always know there's SOMEONE is better than us but not EVERYONE. But you're doing great 👍👍👍
What else is he supposed to do? Slow down to not follow the car in front? When you have the pace to stay behind a car and you do not need to Safe fuel/tires there is no reason to not follow the car in front, he might make a mistake and you can overtake him
while some is summit fault the other guy clearly was bocking a much faster car and deliberately caused the crash (in 3:23 you can see summit doing what that guy was supposed to do, go wide because a faster car is in the inside)
@@Edvardas96 yes you do? blocking a faster lap car aways end up in accident and the guy will overtake you eventualy. just let the guy pass if you cant keep up and try to gain the possition again if you can, i saw a lot of battles where the car let the other guy overtake him on his worse sectors and then retake his position in the next one.
the mirror in this game is SO BAD, i mean, the car looks like hes half a mile away, but the delta is saying 0.3s... thats my major issue with this game so far... (apart from the insane amount of money it costs)

has summit done any dirt road races? all i see are videos of him doing mazdas. He has them mastered at this point. needs to do some off road stuff. (mostly because its my favorite form of racing and rallyx is just the most fun racing)
He definitely is not anywhere near mastering the Mazdas hahaha but he tweeted out today that MX5 is for him and that's where he's gonna stay for now. Different strokes for different folks and all that.

Is he just gonna run free content in that game? I hate to say it but iracing only gets more fun the farther you move on. Or at least past D or C class. Thats kinda the happy medium for me. You get competitive driving but nothing to serious. Like if someone causes an accident its not the end of the world for most.
Cutting is derived from shortcut, These penalties for "Cutting" are killing me. And yes, I know these rules do vary slightly from organization to organization ,but Cutting is derived from shortcut when referenced, and calling an outside (resulting in slower turn) out of bounds the same as an inside, drives me nuts, I'll take the pun too!
you dont get it... cutting doesnt only mean you take a shorter route. Cars cant accelerate well when turning but if you take the corner wider than allowed then you can accelerate more and thus be faster around the track. Theres a reason tracks have limits... both outer and inner.

FYI you can adjust the FOV of the rear mirror, he obviously didn't do that, that's why the car looks so far away.
