Together with the Konzerthaus Berlin and conductor Iván Fischer, Daniel Hope pays homage to his mentor and close friend, the world-famous musician Yehudi Menuhin, with Elgar's Concerto for violin and orchestra in A Minor on 22 April 2016, a piece that Menuhin magnificently and famously recorded together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Menuhin, as one of the most renowned violinists of the 20th century, would have celebrated his centenary on this day.
