Great build reminds me of Sly Gumbi’s builds from 2018. He was trying to get people to try other builds beside box builds and pyramids on missions. Well done 👍🏾
When you recommend to pay attention to the way that ceiling drop and floor freeze trap are placed you reminded me a video I saw while ago where they recommended never use the combination of a tar pit with a ceiling electric field because they will stop the husk hold in place function and will be working just with the fire damaged. Im not 100% sure but believe I heard the same negative effect happened when you fire a husk that is over the trap! Any update about will be appreciate! Thanks!
Yes you’re right. Shooting the husks trapped in tar also ignites it and uses up the durability real quick. I’ll probably leave out the ceiling electrics in the future. I bet that’s why that tar pit ran out so quickly.
Sometimes they do, other times they don’t. Depends on the terrain maybe. I don’t know exactly why. But as long as you’re Base Kyle, you should be fine. The ramps will survive 1-2 smasher charges.

I'm curious about your weapon perks. I get running all Crit Dmg on your launchers, you were running TRO so it makes sense. But why did you run energy element weapons when the alert info indicated a fire storm? As I understand it, energy only does 75% of base dmg to enemies whereas re perking the launchers to water would have boosted the damage against fire enemies. Did you not have enough reperk on hand when you recorded the gameplay or was there another reason?
I only have 2 potshot schematics. So I have one as physical for MSK, and the other as energy since I’m not going to reperk it just for a firestorm. If I get 2 more potshot schematics, then I’ll do one for each element. But for now, just energy to handle all elements.
@@Digidadda ok. I was just curious bc Im working on getting 4 copies of each of favorite weapons. Especially with the Jabberwocky in the shop again for the 2nd time this month

I use the sound walls to get propanes to drop their bombs if they are going to be walking by that wall. I don’t think wall lights make them drop their bombs.
Yo, how’s it been? We kinda just stopped talking for awhile. I like what I’m seeing. At the end of the day, any afk methods will get patched. So it’s just better to play it normally and never need to worry about it getting patched. This method works great. I did it a few times with a team and no base. You might want to change the wall darts. Double crit rating is always worse then a damage perk. Keep it up.
Did you know that if you activate the mission and wait for the baloon to land by itself, you only have to defend until 11 data gets retrieved and not 16 ?

This has been a very helpful build for grinding some evolution materials on 4x missions as a solo player and it’s earned a new sub. :)
This is the build us og players used when the game first came out.. slygumby showed us this build. Just now newer traps and the hero load outs.
after the update they removed the bug from the ports this was very useful

Smashers aren’t charging the walls with the tar pits. Any reason why they would do this

U forgot to mention that you can use wall dynamos in the center of the base by the ramps to deal extra damage.

Up to you. When I’m feeling lazy, I do the launcher + door afk build too.

Doors haven’t worked for me for sometime now. Smashers always charge my walls/doors
Weird. I just ran a bunch of missions afk and they all worked.
Because you can't be beside the objective or it won't work
U cant use cones on ur base or be near the objective or they charge.
Would Wall Lights not work as good as the Sound Walls?

Yep, and there are already plenty of vids on the afk build. I wouldn’t be adding any value by just making another one.
Been good. Work + life are leaving little time for StW but I’m still trying to make sure I get vids out and finish each ventures + battle pass season.

All traps have their own purpose. There’s not really a best or worst trap. Except wall darts, they are OP.
