💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 VIDEO AFTER THOUGHTS: (thoughts I did not Include in voiceover) If you are struggling with getting just the basics done or anything done throw away your routine (save for later) and start new. Start with Just 5 daily chores and try to do that every day for at least one month or even two months until you get it down pat. I did that in February and it has really helped. I never did that when I started my ONE AND DONE CLEANING ROUTINE in 2020. (videos linked in description) So I was doing just my 5 Daily Chores then I added my weekly chores In March which was vacuum and mopping sometimes Dusting. My point is DO NOT worry about the deep cleaning it can wait!! Honestly no one is going to know you have not cleaned behind your fridge in the last 2 or 3 or 5 years!!( unless you tell them lol) Work on what is important the rest will come together eventually and you can add weekly chores and deep cleaning chores later. Also if you get off track stop doing the "extras" and just concentrate on the basic 5 daily chores. When I stay on top my daily chores honestly I do not even need to do them every day, well the straightening and putting stuff away anyway, That usually only needs done 3 times a week in most area. The family room is every day though but it only take 5 minutes!! Life is too short to stress about cleaning!! Ask me how I know this!! 3 days migraines free! I changed my diet a bit that helped! ( aka no gluten, I was indulging too much lately) No broken toe, just hurt like heck but just for a bit really. It’s fine now. 💜

It was very nice to wake up to a clean kitchen the next day! I do try mostly to clean up while I’m cooking dinner as much as I can but after dinner I just don’t have the energy to clean the rest up before bed 🥴 dinner must put me in some kind of food comma lol! Either that or we just need to have dinner earlier, ya think? Lol

Tuesday is my day to wash our bed sheets and dust the upper level. I had procrastinated the dusting, so while I listened to you...I got up and got started on some tidy from this morning and started the dusting. I do like to time myself occasionally like you did...it helps remind me how little time some tasks take. For example, upstairs dusting is less than 12 minutes! I hope your toe is healing. I have dropped things on my foot before and it hurts so much. Take care, Michelle.

It's amazing how little time it actually takes to get some tidying done, and like you said, once you get that momentum going, it's hard to stop sometimes. I used to do night time cleaning and I really enjoyed it but haven't in a long time. I'm usually in pain and ready to be stretched out on the bed, lol. I love your new washer and dryer. I’m getting faster at doing my 5 daily chores than I was 6 months ago for sure! We got new washer and dryer in May maybe??? Yes so nice not to have t close dryer with bingo curd. The washer completely went dead. Hubby said just buy both so they match. I’m like ok! They were both like 14 or 15 yrs old I think? It was time.

Oh thanks Tinabut just know this is not my usual routine. I had a migraine most of the day and napped in and off throughout the day so once it subsided I got busy doing my daily chores. I use to say “ the sky won’t fall down if you don’t make your bed” which I still think is true. For me making my bed wasn’t the most important thing to do. Meaning if I could let something go making the bed be it! With having b depression on and off over last 11 yrs doing the dishes and laundry and grocery shopping was more important. It is ok if you don’t make your bed! But I do feel better when my bed is made. 💜 Ha!

My morning routine gets done when it gets done. Some days are earlier than others. I’m still worn out from my reunion camp out last week. I got home Sunday afternoon and crashed. I’m still dragging. But, I did my usual routine tasks and caught up laundry. And, while watching the T3 playlist - I made another pass through our 8 drawers in our LR tables. Found a few items to toss.
Excellent Ginger! I usually do t do a night time routine but I had not done anything for like days! Luckily the migraine subsided so I could get it done and it was nice to wake up and not have to do anything that morning but make the bed ( but I didn’t. Shhh 🤫don’t tell anyone lol) Hey but the sky didn’t fall down on me, so there is that!
How was the reunion? I hope it was a success! I’d love to do that with all my cousins etc. Not sure at this point that would happen. Love a trip to Connecticut in the fall ( where most of my cousins are) Sister ( and her hubby) made a trip there earlier this month to go to my Aunt’s Funeral ( suicide 🥲) I just could not bring myself to go just thinking about it was stressful. I knew hubby couldn’t go along so thinking about all the logistics was overwhelming. Hotel, car etc.
Yep Ginger it gets done when it gets done. I also do not have a typical morning routine and a night routine really. Sometimes my 5 daily’s gets done in the morning sometimes it gets done through out the day and some days it doesn’t get done at all. It doesn’t usually get done at night these days, this was unusual! 🙀

Working on getting my sleep schedule moved to earlier time. Getting to sleep by 2am is better than getting to sleep by 4, 5 or 6am which is how my sleep schedule has been going. Here’s my regulars night routine. 🔲 Before Bed Routine ▫️ 1. Shine Kitchen Sink, fresh towel ▫️ 2. Kitchen floor - spot clean ▫️ 3. Check calendar, food diary, self-care journal ▫️ 4. Aww thanks! Thankful for it for sure! In our previous house it was in tiny room off garage that just barely fit washer and dryer and no storage spaces all. Plus there was an a/c handler unit in there too 🤪
