@@greglangstaffcareercoach only slightly. I was more concerned with getting a good resume together, but I did want to say thank you for all your help. I'm retiring soon from public school administration and looking to move to the business world in the area of training. I purchased your online toolkit and am sharing it with my sons who are starting off college and will need a good starter resume. They'll be prepared thanks to your materials!
For anyone needing help with the Chat GPT prompt (I struggled to read it, just paying it fwd). "Please analyze these job descriptions and then provide me with T9 key skills to do these jobs well. Please make each skill 1-3 words long." Happy job hunting!
Greg I find your resume tips very useful. Keep doing that. Actually you're helping thousands if not millions individuals seeking new job opportunities.
Your advice has helped me so much, Greg! There are several landmines you helped me avoid in updating my resume, LinkedIn profile, and cover letters. Thank you!!!
I found you on IG and purchased your resume bundle. I appreciate the detail you share, which helps strengthen confidence in the overall resume process. I’d love to get feedback on my resume.
Getting a job interview in Germany is so difficult, but I have learned a lot about watching your videos, especially when I'm doing wrong with my resume me
Thank you for making this video on creating a resume in detail and it would be very helpful in making a 10/10 resume. Liked the video and have been a subscriber since June 2023. Looking forward to getting my resume reviewed by you.
Thanks a million Greg. I recently lost my job. I wondered why even single job application I sent in, didn't make it to the recruiter. Everything was wrong in my CV. Also because of my age, I am often ignored, so I cut down my Professional experience and used Chap GPT and your suggestions. I am on a mission now and will send an update shortly. PS The haircut is fine :)
Thank you, Greg! This video was really helpful in completely revamping my outdated resume. I especially appreciate the logical, organized approach and concrete examples. You, sir, are a peach!
Amazing video and content provided by Greg here on UA-cam and on the Instagram. Thanks to this video I created my Resume from scratch, Cover Letter and I am also using email templates Greg provided in one of his video.
This video was SUPER helpful! I have been feeling very discouraged about the job hunting process and this has helped me feel motivated and a bit more confident to get my resume in shape. Thanks, Greg!
Just finished watching and ordered your bundle to help me get started. For the first time, I can say that I am excited to dive in and rebuild my resume so it is 10/10. Thank you for putting together this video and providing so many helpful tips and insights.
Awe, that's awesome Victoria :) I don't know how many people have every been excited to rebuild their resume so I feel very accomplished in getting you there. You have truly made my day!
Such great tips! I'm graduating college soon and feel so overwhelmed remembering all the little things for the resume. Watching other videos catered to students as well!
Hi Greg. Thankyou so much for this video. I have been applying to jobs for almost a year now. Getting so discouraged. So now I'm revamping my approach, redoing my resume. Being intentional on Jobs applications for Companies I would like to work at. Thankyou so much
Extremely informative video! This can be an overwhelming process. Breaking it down into manageable "action steps" makes it feel as if you can do this!!! My mantra for writing my resume - "How do you eat an elephant - one bite at a time." Thank you 🙏
thank you for the format. I used your format and was getting a lot of hits but then I steered away from it and well I didn't get any so back to square one. Thank you again for sharing. It would be nice if you reviewed my resume.
Thanks for your detailed and informative "back to basics" review on resume writing, Greg! I paused and updated my Resume to implement each step and I'm confident this video will help me and others land our dream jobs! :)
Found this lifesaving video and I am so grateful! It provides sound advice on ATS formatting and easy-to-follow resume writing steps. I have been able to successfully access some of your other videos and free resources. Thanks a million!!!
This video is great. I hate "Professional Summaries" but I love love love the "Career Highlights" idea. I also love the template I am using. I am struggling to make everything fit in one page but I love how clean it looks. When are you doing your next complimentary resume review? I am sure with the September Surge people are itching to send out a primo resume reviewed by your team. :)
Hi @patriciamorris1696 I'm happy to announce that you were randomly chosen as one of the winners of my free resume review!! Please email me at greg@greglangstaff.com to get the process started! Thanks so much for watching this video and entering the contest 😀
Excellent info and tips! Thank you very much ! Also acquired your resume template package - really easy to implement very professional and ATS friendly resumes ! Thank you!
Great content - provided a lot of detail in a concise manner that was easy to follow and dare I say even fun. Will check out your other work. Thank you!
Excellent!!! I learned so much from this! Also following you on other SM which is where I saw this, so I ran to this video!! I am actively searching and submitting. 25yrs of Nursing, many roles so I am trying to condense some and tweak the resume to fit any of the 3types of positions I am currently seeking. The measurable data is slightly difficult to plug in but this certainly gave me some ideas. It sure is challenging! Awesome content. short, sweet, to the point! Also noted -2 C in your temp range on comp - lol-stay warm!!! Had no issues with the links at all (comment about links)
Greg, this video is filled with great information. I love it, it's been really helpful. The cover letter video is also really helpful, I've gone through it a few times today! I'd still love for you to take a look directly, if you're up for it. 😁👍
great question :) I would consider either a) bundling them into one job and mentioning the different teams in your overview/context lines or b) just treating them as two separate jobs. It depends how similar they are.
Hi Greg thanks for the tips you give in this video, I would like to have my resume reviewed by you, I found out that I got an interview because of the cover letter template I used from your site.
I have no idea what I’m doing. I feel like not getting interviews is my resume. Not my experience. Also what do I highlight?! I feel like I have a ton of accomplishments, and have led a lot of projects.
This is great, thanks so much Greg, great info and solid examples! Would love some advice on the skills section. I'm feeling confused as there seem to be some different opinions, I've searched high and low and can't find a truly solid video on this. Some are saying you ONLY list hard skills here...what if you don't have enough or they aren't relevant to the job description. P.S. Would also love some resume help as I'm applying for multiple different jobs in different fields (and also interested in moving into recruiting as I have transferable skills). I've been self-employed for a long time so it feels a bit all over the place for me and am hopeful to get your expertise! Thanks again!
I love this, resume building is something that keeps me wondering which format words the best as sadly I believe to have been using templates that were unscannable. What do you think about having 3 active jobs on a resume while applying for a new one which ideally would replace one or two of the jobs? Is it too much a might cause a recruiter to not want to interact with such a candidate? Also, how do you approach internships and certification?
HI! Thank you for the really helpful stuff! I wondered if you had any work examples? It would be great to see how you think it's best to lay out key skills and job roles... Additionally, if you have anything to add to making the irrelevant experience relevant...I am going from being a snowsports instructor, and I've just finished my degree, and I am looking for a corporate role. Any advice or other videos would be really appreciated! Thanks again!
