101st Birthday FlashMob - St Gregory CEVC Primary School

The remarkable Mary Owens, who was hearing readers at our school well into her 90s, celebrated her 101st birthday recently. We surprised her by taking Oak Class and Redwood Class to her house to sing Happy Birthday to her and give her a card and some flowers. Redwood Class ( Year 6 ) are the last class she heard read when they were in Year 2 and she still recognised them! Happy Birthday Mary!
